I tried flashing the latest radios (no kernel, no hboot) and my phone got stuck in a bootloop. I am s-off and wanted to update everything tonight. So I have the P75IMG.zip in my root folder and when I go into bootloader it automatically tries to load the file. How do I delete P75IMG.zip so I can get into recovery and wipe my phone?

I finally came across an answer searching Google. If anyone else ever has this issue, remove the SD card and then reboot.

Okay so today I decided to try to install an ICS rom to my phone and I flashed the PH98IMG in fastboot and then after that was done my phone would only boot to a black screen. So I deleted to PH98IMG from my sd card and now my phone will only let me into the hboot and I can't do anything else!! I've re-locked my bootloader but not sure where to go from here. Any help getting my phone back to any working state whether it is rooted or not would be great!
If you still have the from on unlock the phone boot into boot and flash the kernel manually(fastboot flash boot boot.img). You may not have seen the mainver error flash by when you flashed the rom

Well I've unlocked the boot loader and rebooted my phone and now it is letting me get back to the clockwork recovery.

Can you reflash your nand to get back to ground zero?
I've been having to use the PC to flash boot.img since all the mainver errors
My backup is hosed which I'm okay with. I just want my phone to work again Well I installed a custom rom in recovery and it said that installed okay but now it still only boots to a black screen. So now I'm just wondering if I'm having an issue with the ph98img.

I believe you are.
Are you familiar with using cmd.exe and adb?
If you can get into recovery, mount you external card and pull the ph98ing file to the PC.
inside that zip file is a file called boot.img.
use the command "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and it will load the kernal.
I'm skipping a lot assuming you know what I'm talking about.
Read this post and it will help out tremendously. It did for me.

Well guys I think that may have worked my phone is booting up normally now. But now I have a question if I want to factory reset my phone should I have any problems doing that or will I have to go through a bunch of stuff to do that?
What ROM are you running currently?

Should not have any problem factory resetting just make sure that you deleted the PH98IMG file from the root of your sd card.
Right now I'm running BAMF Rezound Cubed 1.0.2 Stockish and Themed but I want to go back to the stock gb rom and just leave it rooted
I don't know what mainver that BAMF ROM is on but if it is different than the OTA stock you can use this tool con247 just made to help in situations where mainvers differ.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497984
If the BAMF ROM is 2.x mainver you can run the RUU for that version and get yourself back to stock, then flash Amon Ra recovery and install su and you'll be stock GB and rooted.
I've already completed all of the steps from hansoon2000's guide here including installing T-Mobile's ICS and \4ext recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619491
Now the next step I wanted to do is install CapromCE. What I did was install the "required" firmware (the link in CapromCE's thread was down but I was able to find the file uploaded by NRGZ28 with identical MD5). I then installed CapromCE through Recovery. Should I have renamed it to PH85IMG and installed through Bootloader?
Installation went fine but I was stuck at the second HTC logo (green logo on black background). I was still able to access Recovery but it couldn't load the internal SD. This was fixed by formatting the SD and I was able to successful re-install the T-Mobile ICS by renaming it to PH85IMG and loading it through Bootloader.
Anyone can figure out where I've messed up?
Thanks!
Install zip from sd after wiping should be all you need to do. Make sure you backup stock ROM in case you have to go back

ok for some reason I'm no longer able to get into Recovery. I'm getting the same screen as when I was running controlbear for s-off

You restore everything to complete stock when you flashes the ics ruu via bootloader, now start the entire process all over again, this time wipe your partitions before installing the zip file and make a note as previously stated to backup before doing so.

My Rezound and I are stuck.
Let me start at the beginning. My Rezound was running “RUU_Vigor_VERIZON_WWE_1.02.605.6” and it was unlocked and rooted. So recently Verizon started forcing this firmware update with no way to stop it that I could find. So I decided to update on my own. I did a Nanoid backup of everything and a Titanium back up of everything. I relocked my phone and I found “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” at Android Police [Exclusive Download] Full RUU Build 4.03.605.2 For The HTC Rezound. So I downloaded it and renamed it PH98IMG.zip. Placed it on my SD card and booted into HBOOT were it loaded the new version. It worked so I unlocked my phone and loaded “recovery-ra-vigor-3.15-gnm.img”. I loaded SU from the recovery had it updated at Google Play. Reloaded Titanium rooted and this is where things started to go wrong. No permissions were being given to Titanium. I tried “recovery-ra-vigor-3.14-gnm.img” and I even tried SUSuper but nothing worked. I went into recovery and did a complete Nanoid recovery. Since then I have not been able to get anything to work. I cannot load any older versions. I try to reload “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” but it makes it to #4 system were it gets stuck in a loop of unzipping and updating.
My very last attempt was to unlock the phone load “recovery-ra-vigor-3.13-gnm.img” go into recovery and do a wipe of everything. Then from XDA-Developers [ROM][ICS Global Phone Update][4.03.605.1] Stock, Root, Deodex, Busybox, Global Phone - xda-developers I downloaded the ICS Global Phone Update Firmware and the ICS Global Phone Update. In recovery I used “flash a zip” to update the firmware. I locked the phone and renamed the Phone Update to PH98IMG.zip. Booted into HBOOT and allowed it to update the software. I instantly powered down and renamed “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” to PH98IMG.zip rebooted to HBOOT and it made it to #4 system where it got stuck in the loop.
When I try just to start the phone it stays on the white HTC screen.
What can I do to get my phone working again? Please be specific with the steps to take because I am still at the bottom of the learning curve.
One other question: Can my Nanoid backup recover the data for the internal card so Titanium will be able to recover my programs.
Thank You SOOOOOOO very much for your help.

You tried in recovery turning on Full Format and formatting "system"?
Also try loading a custom rom and flashing it via recovery and see if everything works properly
Don't use the Su option in recovery always flash SU using one of the flash zips either SuperSU or Superuser

Thank you for your response. I went into “Recovery – Wipe” and selected “Toggle Ext Full Wipe”. Then I went to “Format “ and selected “Format all to ext3”. It showed me the warnings and I pressed power to continue.
I tried to recover using my Nandroid backup but it did not work. So I formatted a second time. This time I flashed the firmware zip file and it worked 100% this time. Rebooted to HBOOT/Fastboot and locked the phone. The phone rebooted and made it all the way through setup and to home screen. Software version 4.0.3-605.1 so why stop there. I booted into HBOOT and let version 4.0.3-605.2 load and it made it to “System” and got stuck in the loop.
So to make a long story short I started all over again and flashed the ICS Global Phone Update Firmware. I verified that everything was up and running. Then I tried one last thing. I went into recovery and did a Nandroid recovery. I only selected “Data” and “Ext-card” and let it go. I am now fully operational with all of my programs including my wallpaper. The only thing I can tell I lost was Titanium Backup’s backup. Everything shows no backup and no files are frozen.
Thank you again for your help. :good:
I have Flashed LeeDroids newest Rom to my GSM from Mwakious,Using Rom Manager i created a full backup before the Flash Process
The Installer had said that flashing was successful,I let the Phone reboot
It Took about 20 to 25 minutes, thats when i knew something was wrong,Understanding there is a problem i took out the battery wanting to to wipe and use the backup i created,(didnt install the animations or boot sound),i loaded up the Bootloader and went into Clockwork, when i choose something i get stuck on the Rom manager logo ???.
Whats the safest way for me to be able to wipe and reinstall the ROM
*update* i flashed the boot.img out LeeDroid, now my phone contentiously plays the htc boot animation*
First, don't use Rom Manager, just backup, wipe, and flash in clockwork.
Second, did you flash the correct radios/firmware/kernel for that rom?
Third, did you fully wipe? Even if you selected it in Rom Manager, it likely didnt work, hence see number 1.

I had the same problem with LeeDriod, stuck on HTC logo. try to RUU with the correct file. you will be stocked. but before RUUing you have to relock your bootloader by typing "fastboot oem lock" then RUU
I had this problem for a week and I thought my phone is dead and I had to trash it but after RUUing I am back to stock lolz
I had used 4ext recovery thinking i would be able to wipe and install another Rom,i wiped everything but since, everytime i try to install a rom i get stuck at the htc logo in boot,i will have to painfully relock it and RUU,but which file ?

Depends on your location and carrier. Also, I think getting s-off will solve your bootloop problems.

I got out of the phone mod life about a year ago..
but one of my friends is going through some financial stress and needs a phone.. i had a Sprint M9 sitting here for about a year.. So i decided i'd try to unlock it so he could use it.
Needless to say i'm a little rusty and a lot of things have changed
I asked Stifilz to help with the unlock and he directed me to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-one-m9/general/nv-unlock-sim-t3314755
I needed to get the MSL, so I attempted the root following this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/general/guide-root-install-twrp-htc-one-m9-t3061133
Everything went smoothly with the instructions.. only problem is that I am now stuck in a bootloop of the HTC boot screen with the red writing.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
firmware? boot.img? new rom?
Hi.. phone has been sitting down collecting dust since the last post.. a friend needs a phone so I'm trying to get it working to give it away.. anyone have any solutions for this?
I am willing to pay to get this resolved.
Hold power button and volume down button at the same time and boot to recovery. Can you get into twrp recovery?

Hi? I'm in same situation. From stock, I didn't follow any particular tutorial. I used my knowledge from HTC m8. I unlocked bootloader, flashed latest twrp for m9, flashed latest supersu zip. And that's it. Boot loop afterwards. I flashed supersu via OTG Drive. Could that be an issue? Phone is still S-ON
UPDATE: I some how wiped cache, dalvich, data and system partition in twrp now it says I have no OS installed. I think I wasn't supposed to wipe system partition? How to get back to phone plz? Could you Point me to a restore file or stock HTC file I can restore with adb or twrp? I didn't make a backup before I started the whole thing.
Grab stock rooted rom from development thread n flash that. Should be good after that
