Now that the FW is released on Navifirm I have a question for you guys. My phone is not bound to any carrier and I am from Europe. What variant of the FW should I download? And also is there a guide on how to flash it on my Lumia 800?

What country r u from? And check you product code, its on the SIM card piece of plastic under the QR code.

I just had my Lumia 800 unsimlocked officialy by my operator (Orange France) this morning, after receiving a code. My phone now works with different micro-sim, as I wanted. I am a beginner with the Lumia so forgive my stupid question please: now that my mobile is desimlocked, do I have to consider it unbranded? Is it the same? Next time I will make a firmware update through Zune, will it detect this fact and install me an "non-branded" rom?

Hello everybody! check this out, I just opened navifirm and found out this... Nokia lumia 710 (rm-809) has a new update... it's fw number 1600.3037.8858.13030, product code (059m3q8, 059n2p8, 059n2p5)... country variant brazil, anatel branded...
I have a lumia 710 rm-809 country variant argentina, claro branded... I was wondering if there's any way to flash the new firmware into my pone, even if they have different product code, and if there's any way to unbrand the anatel branded fw...

Does the firmware fix the screen lag that occurs when you press the power button on the phone and the screen takes 1-4 seconds to turn on?
i have nokia lumia 800 RM-819 CLARO CARIBE BLACK/NEGRO. I update firmware newest : 1750.823.8858.12460, but i think i update wrong operator (wrong variant), hixhix. My sim card not work.
Can u help me? what's variant i can use in my phone?

I update again with variant 059N344 but my cellphone required PIN code. i contact my operator in my country to get it, but it's incorrect code.
may be my cellphone is lock phone??? how to use my cellphone with GSM operator in my country???

NOKIA LUMIA 800 : Existing device hardware version/s: RM-801 ("global") & RM-819 (Latin Americas) >>> If you are from Vietnam, you should use RM-801.
If you have used wrong firmware variant don't worry, follow case 1
Case 1: If it is asking for a 25-digit code, broken down to 5 boxes, it is easy to get it. You can obtain it from Microsoft HERE
Case 2:
Install Nokia Care Suit.
Connect your phone to PC and launch the NCS.
Check the phone details there. You should get the variant code as well.
Use this variant; this should work fine.
Case 3: If your phone is carrier locked, use NSS PRO to unlock SIM.1. Connect Phone to PC.
2. Start NSS PRO and use SIMLOCKS > WP7 > UNLOCK
This should do the trick, and you can use any SIM on your LUMIA phone.

What product code are you talking about actually? The firmware revision number is 1232.5957.1308.0001. But this is for a white Indian lumia 920.
