Hey guys.
Is it possible to take the DNA software and put in on the Rezound? Sense 4+ and Jellybean?
I know I know, why sense some people may ask. I've loved sense since the days of the HTC incredible and it has been my favorite android skin to date.

I respectfully disagree. Newt has booting JB sense 4+. We already have working sense 4.1, and we have (mostly) working AOSP JB. It might not be a DNA port, but we will end up with Sense 4+ Jellybean.

Isn't Tmartin planing a port? If not we should officially be getting 3.6 in about two months (my guess) when the ICS comes to our phones

Evo 3D will not get Sense 4.0 officially, but it will get 3.6 with the ICS update
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
No need to port 3.6 at all because the official ICS update will be running it. However if you want to use it right now you could download virtuous quattro.

Already been done, cam doesn't work, in all honesty, you've got a 3D phone, u can't use 3D on it until it's been released. Not much point really.
But as Atomix said, quattro is already there, albeit without a workin cam.
I know newtoroot has a sense 4.0 with Android 4.0.3 but I didn't know that there was already a 3.6 port
Where could I find that?

I would think that once the official ICS is released most devs will go the route of Sense 4 using the ICS libs.

No need to be rude.
The Sense 4.0 framework only works on ICS, which is why no one has ported it from the One X to Gingerbread for the Thunderbolt (or any other Gingerbread ROM). When we get a working RIL or an official leak/release from Verizon or HTC, I'm sure we will see someone strip the Sense 3.6 from the Thunderbolt ICS leak and replace it with a ported Sense 4.0 from the One X or other new HTC device.

I've run this on my OG EVO and it's surprisingly nice. It has the obvious bugs, but they are being sorted by some of the best sense dev's that sub-forum has seen. I guess I don't understand what the real hold-up would be if the T-bolt is already a step ahead with 3.6 hangin out there.

Not RIL is the hold up. We could port sense 4 all day long but it does us no good without ril or kernel source.

Does anyone think like I do that some of the features claimed to be new are already on some sense roms? For example, the music player in Newt's sense 4 roms shows my other music apps like MOG, tune wiki, even soundhound, apps association was removed, power saver option (maybe just in the tweaks). Anyway, I don't really see anything to be excited about as far as sense 4+ is concerned.

The thunderbolt is the first phone on Verizon that has svdo which let's you talk and surf the internet at the same time even on 3g data. HTC and Verizon have both been protecting this technology by keeping sources closed indefinitely on the radio software for one. Since a lot of the sources are closed devs don't have interest in finding hacks and workarounds to deal with the lack of source. That's why a lot of the devs left this device. Even still though we have official ics and in a few months we should have the sources we need to build custom kernels that are needed for making a jb from.
