It's a know issue that bluetooth doesn't work on the cm10.1, this goes also for the camera, youtube, and telephony.
Don't panic there's nothing wrong, if you cannot miss this features you should flash back to 4.1 and wait until those features are fixed.

With new cm-10.1-20121230-NIGHTLY-p5100.zip is not owrking bluetooth headset yet?

Does anybody have a clue how to solve this?
I have the same problem here.
I used my Dell BH200 to answer/make calls and listen to music, but after I upgraded my Galaxy Note to ICS it stopped working properly.
I can listen to music, but when trying to answer a call the bluetooth headset stops the syncronization with the phone e instantly turns off.
Does anybody has a clue?
Thanks..

Mine, Nokia BH 505, works fines here. with Gingerbread, ICS, and now JB
Settings >> network an connectivity(should be skipped in ICS) >> bluetooth >> find ur device click it then u should get another page where u can check whether u want both media and phone or only one of them
If above didn't work , try to unpair then pair it again

[Q] Using bluetooth headset for voice-to-text

Phone: AT&T Galaxy S2 I-777. Rooted and running the latest SlimRom.
I am trying to figure out how to get the Google Keyboard's voice-to-text feature to work via my bluetooth headset. It works fine if I push the microphone button and talk into the phone, but it does not seem to switch over to using the bluetooth headset's mic when it is connected. How can I make it do this? thanks

Don't know, but Slim is a 4.2.2 ROM and those based on CM all have BT problems of varying degree. If you want 100% working BT, best stay away from any 4.2.2.

[Q] Skype, Viber, VOIP on Bluetooth headset problem

Hi,
Currently I'm using a GT-I9300 and a friend has the GT-I9100 on a CM/AOKP/PA based rom and we both have the issue that VOIP apps can't use the bluetooth headset. On both devices. I get no sound at all and mic doesn't work (BT).
On normal Phone Audio it does work, I can make calls through Cellular using a bluetooth headset.
On stock ROMs I don't have this problem. Skype and other VOIP apps can use Bluetooth headset correctly. Only on CM/PA/AOKP based ROMs.
Would this be a global CM issue? Would this be kernel related? I have triend several kernels and all have this issue. On STOCK Samsung ROMs I don't have the issue. Not on GT-I9300 and GT-I9100. using the same kernels which I tried in CM/AOKP/PA.
I've tried Ressurection Remix, Temasek CM10.2, JellyBAM 9.1.2 and others. All have the same issue.
On all STOCK samsung roms (JB Leak 4.2.2, Stock 4.1.2 ROMs, currently I'm on XXEMG4 STOCK based rom) it works
I'd like to use a CM/AOKP/PA ROM with bluetooth VOIP apps support.
Can anyone test this and let me know if it works? Is this a kernel issue?
Perhaps a ROM developer can shine some light on this.
I have seen that TheWhisp has fixed a bluetooth audio VOIP issue on one of his ROMs for the Samsung Mini II, I know this is a qualcomm device and not exynos, but this info could be relevant:

GT-I9300 and GT-i9100 are Exynos devices, Mini 2 is Qualcomm. So the fix I used on Mini 2 wouldn't work on your devices. Anyway, I fixed it on Mini 2 simply by updating audio HAL from latest CAF sources.

nikec, I have asked this question on other forums too and this is one reply I received:
It is a problem the cm team cannot fix due to the fact that Samsung doesn't release the kernel modules.
So no Bluetooth voip support from cm

[Q] can't switch back to earpiece if device is paired to bluetooth headset

Hello,
on my I9300 i have tried Slimbean 4.3 stable and SlimKat 4.4 weeklys now and i always had the problem that I can't switch back to speaker or earpiece if device is paired to a bluetooth headset or bluetooth speaker in my car.
This problem is also described in a posting in cyanogenmod forum. I cant post links but just search for "[10.1.3] Can't Switch Back To Speaker Or Headset Earpiece If ..." on google.
Until now I have found no solution. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?
It works perfectly with stock ROM but I dont want to change back...
Thanks for your help

Tried it again several times with Slimbean and Cyanogenmod Roms. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. A driver problem?
