Hi all
just bought a lightspeed i-helicopter, great fun,
but its not working on x+ running JellyBean
works fine on my old gs2 with ICS, with copter controller app
Any help advice would be great.

thanks for reply.
no it uses a seperate IR transmitter which plugs into audio jack, then supposed to controll with app, works gs2 HTC desire hd, but cant get it to work on X+.

Hmm there both ICS devices right? Maybe the app itself needs updating for JB. Did you try contacting the people who made it for advise?

Yes both devices are running ICS, I think your right and the issue is the lack of JB update for the app, tried contacting dev a few times but no reply. Been looking around but cant find any info on a JB update or work around, Its a bit annoying, guess have to use gs2 for now

haha I know better than to ask for an ETA. I am a long time Captivate user and have been running CM since I got it, I believe I started at CM7. I have gotten so use to it (well running CM10) that I am lost with Sense 4 on this phone and really started to like all of the included things in CM10.
Good to hear that it is a possibility though.
I'm kind of hoping to get a daily driver out for the weekend

I really liked the 'Magic Smoke' LWP on my One X. I was bummed to find it missing on the One X+. I've tried copying the apk from a couple of different ROMs. But, it either Force Closes or doesn't work at all. Anyone have an apk that works? Or, can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I really dig the "change colors with battery level" feature. its a very subdued wallpaper that's just interactive enough to be fun, but not so invasive as something like Microcosm (which I do quite like anyways).

I really want to see development for the AT&T model kick off. So far the only developer I've really seen step up is Sportsstar89, however he doesn't have a phone to develop on. Do you all think we should start a collection to get a phone sent to him so we can get some real development going? If you have any other ideas, please share.

A developer just got his phone yesterday. Give it time.
There are some good Roms right now in the development section, Elegancia is being well supported, team Blackout is fixing to have a update with what may be our first custom kernel, Turge will be releasing his Venom Rom soon as its in beta testing and like stated above a good developer just received his phone, good things are coming and this phone is still young. Patience ... they will come

I thought the original unbranded HTC One is the same as the HTC One we have. Because people are flashing ARHD and other roms without a issue so
if you make a call there is no sound when your in a call, pretty much its not worth it atm.
So far, it has been reported that there is no sound in the earpiece during phone calls. I might be able to fix it, I might not, but I need logs to get started. Actually, I probably need the phone to get it fixed.

I'm running Renovate from the Intl forums. Both the ROM and the kernel and there hasn't been a single issue and everything has been working great! Also since it's an international rom I got the 25gb Dropbox space All I did was open up the dropbox app after I flashed the rom and a couple minutes later got the email saying I got 25gb of space for 24 months.
Oh I also was able to dirty flash the rom so I didn't wipe and lose my data

I think some of them LTE doesn't work. But as I said in my other post I'm running the Renovate ROM from the international forum. The rom and kernel and everything works fine 100%. (I'm running his 1.0 version not his nightlies) I even got the dropbox space
The Partition tables are the same. HTC kept that uniform this time around at least with the GSM variants.

It's a nice rom, it has extended quick settings on the notification bar, it has an option to make long press of the back button call up menu and that then gets rid of the black bar menu thing bar on the bottom. Extended reboot and a bunch of other tweaks

Yeah, I most likely will. I have to update my gs3 Rom and then I'm going to start to work on the One. Theme the stock Rom to look as much like AOSP as I can(just like my blackjelly rom) It's been a while since I've owned a HTC device so I have to get reacclimated with how HTC does things. I can say AOKP is already in the works. One of the other guys on the team already started I believe.

Dirty flashing the Renovate ROM worked without any side effect? Do you still have LTE and no issues like you claim? Also, is that ROM any faster/smoother/noticably better than stock? So far the two most compelling reasons I see are the quick toggles, transparent notification shade, and that 25gb of Dropbox storage
Simple question.
Why default headphones that came with my desire x are not usable with my phone,it doesnt shot notification on top,and when i play music it plays trough speakers. Hheadphones work perfectly on my pc,nexus 7,and my friends devices,why the hell are they not working on my desire x?

They worked perfectly with my phone and then they stooped working with it, but they work with other devices... I dont have any ideas why it happened, i just bought another headphones which work with my phone.

On which ROM are you? We had a similar problem with HTC Aria using MIUI ROM for JB, maybe this can help them (as I don't have this phone anymore).

I use stock ROM withount root.
Can you try using a custom ROM of your choice? I never tried stock, but went straight onto using Skydragon first, now I'm on Sense Revolution R2 (JB). I never got problems with headphones...
