i think you are newbie....ICS is not still available for our phone..because of drivers.
and do not post question here..
there is a CM9 which is based on ICS for SGY,
it's only very unstable
Its not apiece of cake! U need drivers frm broadcom! They wont release it! If they do then we can even have 4.1 jb

there is many genius and great dev of our y.. what do u think? they didnt try? they tried since the relase of ics.. but its not possible for some incomplete driver and others which u wont understand.. it will come when the time of ics in y will come..

how to overclock in CM9?? i flashed to CM9 ICS...installed set cpu. however i were unable to overclock till 900mhz++ which i can do that before i flash to another rom.. HELP ME PLEASE
let it get stable first and then ask about oc..
there are many changes that needs to be in kernels and this is not daily driver rom.. many more things to come
so means i shud flash back to cm7 1st?? and wait a more stable cm9 rom come out??

The myth ics is not stable and crashes frequently.. Try legacy 7 ics..

I have made my own rom but now I want to add ics icobs in it.. I hav all the files required but replacing the icons one by one would take alot of time, so is there anyway to make this process faster?? I tried to add updater script of the icon package in my rom including the files required but it gav an error on installation.

Just download ics icon pack from themes and app section and flash it with cwm..

@hell_lock - a shortcut is to flash some icon packs to ur ROM and pull all the APK's back with new icons

Cleve kernal have two stages 1st is in beta stage and 2nd is v1...... Without permission of maker..don't make their threads......
