INSTALLATION:
- Use the latest TWRP recovery.
- Go into settings in TWRP, select your wipe option to normal and NOT "rm -rf".
- Full wipe for ANY milestone build, or your first run on our ROM, we've changed a LOT from the stock RUU, or any other ROM.
- Make sure you're NOT plugged in while flashing and have a good charge.
- Click the install button in recovery, find and select our ROM zip.
- Bootup, don't restore anything.

Excerpt from MeanBean Rom thread regarding s-on installation
s-on installation
Note that with s-on, TWO things must be flashed separately: the ROM ZIP and the kernel inside that ZIP. The built in kernel installer (thanks Haus) will take care of this without any extra work on your part: just flash with TWRP! Follow the instructions below, however, so you'll know what to expect because there are some pauses and an extra reboot involved whenever the kernel in the ROM is updated.
Boot to TWRP recovery (hold vol down and press power for 1 second while you continue holding vol down until you see the bootloader, then choose "recovery")
Always make a Nandroid backup before installing anything on your phone!
On first install of MeanBean, do a full wipe (at least a factory reset)
Subsequent updates: no wiping necessary BUT...
If you have any trouble at all, do a full wipe and then reinstall
In TWRP recovery, choose "Install" and locate the ROM ZIP you downloaded and begin the install.
The installation will usually complete relatively quickly but if a new boot.img is included in the ROM, it may take 5 minutes or longer to flash: please be patient!
When the installation is complete, if you see the word "Look!" in large text, a new boot.img was flashed and you are not done yet! In that case, continue to the next step. If you do NOT see the word "Look!", you can reboot and you are done flashing.
When the word "Look!" appears, simply "reboot system" normally from recovery. Your phone will begin to boot but will reboot during the boot animation and then boot back to recovery. At that point, simply flash the ROM a second time from recovery to complete the install. This process is required for the s-on installer to do its job. Once you install the ROM a second time and reboot, your phone will boot normally.
After the first boot on a fresh install, go to "Menu", "Settings", "Power" and UNcheck "Fast Boot". When you reboot or power off the phone, you really want it to reboot/power-off. This can save you a lot of headaches.
s-on additional notes
If you have a new phone and are starting from scratch, use these instructions to unlock your phone and install TWRP recovery. These instructions work for all current software including the latest 3.15. Follow all steps up through and including step 28, except in step 25, use the latest openrecovery*.img file from here instead of the old 2.1.8 version listed on the page. Once you successfully complete step 28, you can boot to recovery and install MeanBean.
If you've already unlocked via the HTC method above and you already have TWRP recovery installed, use the above instructions but if you have any trouble, here are instructions on how to manually install the ROM and kernel separately.
Have trouble after trying to flash s-on: reread the s-on instructions above and be sure to follow each step. If you have done that and still have trouble, try this info.
Updating your firmware to the 3.15 RUU is another story altogether so I'll leave the firmware/radio updates to other threads.

This is a senseless version of Super LTE
Goal: To create a low resource use rom with an AOSP feel while, retaining major functionality of the device.
Not quite AOSP and not quite Sense

Bareback M4
Again, there aren't any Bareback specific changes with M4, it's just getting it caught up to all the changes and tweaks to match up with SuperJelly M4. Read over Ducey's changelog for the specifics and ignore the ones that deal with Sense
Bareback M3
Not really any Bareback specific changes to this one, it is mostly just getting it up to date with SuperJelly M3. I'm pretty satisfied with Bareback as it is now to be honest, and as long as these guys keep killing it on SuperJelly, I'm happy to just keep testing to make sure there changes work on Bareback and keeping it updated for me and everyone. Ideas are always welcome.
I had a much longer OP filled out with thanks to the people I love and hate, but apparently I do not know how to work the internets and closed out the tab I was typing everything up in, so just make sure you thank everyone mentioned in the old changelogs, because they are still all awesome, mostly.
Bareback M2
Noteable Changes in M2 (Read il Duce's awesome OP for the laundry list of Winning:
-Added back in HomePersonalize with a custom lightweight skin as default done by Gumby63 -It's awesome and thank him!
-----Live wallpapers can now be used, but all have been removed from ROM. You can pull them from Super if you need any of the stock or just use your own battery suckers
-----Skins can now be used for some added theming. Any skins that work on Super will work on this.
-Touched up SystemUI also by the above mentioned awesome Gumby63 (Although I ended up having to add a little something because he kept forgetting )
-Added Bareback updater by Steal25. He's amazing, seriously. Set it up the same as Super updater from post 1.
-----PRL update is all that is in there now. More will come.
-Removed Telenav.
-Removed a few other files here and there to trim down some more fat.
-Battery icon is removed by default, to add it back just toggle off/on in Extended settings. Same with SMS popup.
-Probably more that I am not remembering at the moment, be sure to look at the end of the updater script when flashing
-Big thanks to mrrogers1 for doing tons of testing for me.

-Added Customized Settings(Nova settings option in place of Personalize (Thanks again to Steal25 for getting this sorted out and for letting me bug him for troubleshooting and help and all kinds of junk. He's crazy patient with me and you need to give him heap big thanks. )
-Removed Rosie and all HTC Sense widgets
-Removed "non essential" HTC Sense apps (There is a ton I took out of here and most can be added back in from the base rom, I did a lot of trial and error with removing things and adding other things so feel free to ask questions)
-Removed HTC Lockscreen
-Removed all Home Personalize entries
-Removed HTC Wallpapers, Live Wallpapers, and Wallpaper Preview images
-Removed Misc. bits of Sense framework and underlying Sense files
-Big thanks to mrrogers1 for doing tons of testing for me over the past month or so, please find him and give him a thanks
-Thanks to v01rider, saboture, and Ashkerlon for some extra testing over the past couple of days.
-Thanks to our fearless il Duce for being a great dude and all the work he does on this ROM and his willingness to always help and also tell me "here flash this, it probably won't work so make a backup". Find him and thank him somewhere you haven't already because he is dreamy.
-Lastly, PLEASE PLEASE give thanks and man hugs and beard kisses to hockeyfamily737. He started this without even owning the device and I just hold it above water. He's a linux and script wizard and I would help him shovel his horse's crap any day, as long as he didn't make me listen to Dave Matthews Band.
Lockscreen Mod
Ok you people that insist on having more Sense stuff added back into BareBack (you know who you are! ;p). Here is a zip that brings back the HTC Sense lockring with working music controls/caller ID with out the arduous task of swiping right to unlock your phone/and working security and shortcuts:

After you flash you need to go into your app drawer and open up the Lockscreen shortcup app and you can assign whatever shortcuts you want. Back out of the app, then go into Personalize and check "Enable Lockscreen Shortcuts".

so be sure to go give him a thanks.
I will be adding this to the updater once I get a different lockring in place, but this should sate those of you who have been clamoring for this.

Not yet ill add a flashable first thing in the morning. Or you can pull it from the superlte updater.
