i purchases x10 mini pro with 2.3 ginger bread also rooted
em very happy with this ....but couples days ago during regular search i found xda thread with title how to update 2.3 to 4.0 ...and you know what that's is my life bad day ever ...coz due to leak of android knowledge i was try to update my phone
what happen after ???
ohhhh... my phone stuck and cant showing any thing
i decide to go for repairng and i do ...but once more great tragedy with me again reaping man install 2.1 :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
and that's really irritating me alot
but i decided again to update my phone with my own mind and searching after one week i have so many stuff and link relevant to my problem ...!!!

one thing i want to mention in this thread that i also official update my phone with Sony official
plz help my guys ... i tried all stuff and lot of my time on updating my phone plz plz plz help me ... but still having no moral effect seen yet you all guys are experts here..

download seus (sony ericsson update service) --> install it on your computer --> run it --> connect your x10mini--> follow the instructions

X10's gallery is a cool 3D photo/image viewer, and I think it's worth a try. It works on the X8, although pressing the camera button will cause the app to crash. If I'm not mistaken, root is not required. I'll post the file here later if you wish to try it.. In the meantime, here's some pics.

You can't get mediascape on other phones apparently there are several checks which ensures it works only on x10..

Xperia Neo v2.3.4 Build 4.0.2.A.62
Why I can't uninstall these applications (see the screenshot) that come with the firmware?
After I uninstalled them, but when I reboot the phone. These applications appear in the menu again. How come? This problem happened after I updated to Build 4.0.2.A.62 via Sony Ericsson PC Companion.
Please help! ! ! They consume my internal memory...

Anybody here?
They're apps that come with the ROM which means you can't uninstall them. But you can download titanium backup pro and remove them with that and they should stay uninstalled.

But last time when my phone still in v2.3.4 Build 4.0.2.A.42, I can uninstall normally. After I updated to Build 4.0.2.A.62 I can't uninstall....

Other way, Titanium Backup need rooted device to work. And after I updated to Build 4.0.2.A.62, I can't root by using SuperOneClick or DooMLoRD methods.
I don't know what did Sony does to this Build 4.0.2.A.62....
.62 are the latest,so devs need a time to figure how to root it,but why you update to. 62?.42 are the best interm of performance and batt life..hey your device has its own forum,should check there for your problem,they might help..

so many people at Xperia Mini & Mini Pro & Active Android Development sub-forum post the link about stock 4.0.2.A.0.62 ROM, i even follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444841
i follow the link: http://www.multiupload.com/FRJ1OLASSU but ended in a dead page. Please upload the rom again, so i can root my xperia active. I'm stuck now 'coz im update my xa via seus. I also heard some people can root "Process Generic ST17i (Active) 4.0.2.A.0.62 (1254-6360)". Please master of andorid, provide these poor lost soul with the enlightment

i will greatly appreciate the link for flashtool, fastboot since all of 'em are stored in www.multiupload.com
well if you just want to go back to 62 stock rom i strongly recommend you to google for wotan server, it is a simple and easy way to install this generic software to your phone as it is like flashing with seus.
on a second thought just follow this link http://www.wotanserver.com/en/page/tutorial-debranding-flash-sony-ericsson have a nice flash!!

have you tried to flash stock rom ? if it doesn't work, it means it is not rom problems . maybe your screen problem . My suggestion , visit Sony Centre

flash xperia active stock gb and then flash xperia mini stock gb
i got my touch working again in no time!
well i have flashed all stock rom for xperia mini nothing worked in my town there isnt any sony shop so got @@ :laugh:
anyway i will try to flash active rom and then xperia mini rom thanks !!!
