Hi all,
I've had my Galaxy tab 2 10.1 for about a week now and have just this morning been playing with the internet settings. However I have now lost the top bar of the internet screen, including the tabs, and crucially the button to get back into the settings. Have I somehow gone into a full screen mode and if so how do I get it back to normal, or how can I get back into settings?
Thanks
Adrian
You've enabled quick controls. Swipe in from the left or right of the screen and they'll show up. Disable in the Labs section of settings

Normally, I have tabs and menu symbol at the top of the screen when using Browser. However, sometimes - I think when I close an existing tab - it switches to full screen mode and I don't know how to see my tabs again. There is not full screen switch in quick controls on the side of the screen.
How do I switch between full screen mode and tabbed mode?
Also: how do I get to my home page?
Edit: I'm talking about stock ICS browser.
I have a VZW Galaxy SIII and it has so many customizable options within it. I know that there is a setting specific to the browser brightness....but is there anyway to just have it sync up with the automatic brightness of the rest of the pages/phone screens. Nothing becomes more irratating than going from a vibrant home screen, menu screen, or facebook app screen to a much dimmer web page. Even when you utitlize the favorites button and look to go to one of your book marked pages, the screen will get brighter in the menu and then dim as you get back to a web page. Seems easy enough to ask for a way to keep the screen brightness the same regardless of the page you are on.
Can someone help me please?!

Click to collapse
When in the browser
Open settings (browser settings)and adjust brightness from there. Its probably set on auto by default.

AHHH HA! So I had already played in the color and settings menu to try and match the best that I could. It looks like if you select the "Default" option versus Level 1, 2, or 3 it will keep the browswer screen at the same level as your menus and other applications. Hope this helps others in case they are running into the same thing. Thanks!
Hello. I've got a Nexus 7 rooted with the most recent version of SmoothROM on it. I'd like to use the tablet in a sort of kiosk mode. Right now I'm using a combination of the full!screen app and by enabling Quick Controls from the Labs menu in the stock browser. This gives me the fullscreen I need by removing control buttons, etc, and the Quick Controls removes the URL and forces the browser into a full screen mode. To access the settings you touch anywhere on the right or left edge of the browser and a menu instantly pops up. That is where my problem is. Is there anyway to delay that pop up? Ideally I'd like to have to hold it for a few seconds before it pops up. Even just having it activate in only one spot would be nice.
Any idea if this is somehow possible?
Thanks
Right guys, I updated my Nexus 9 last night to Marshmallow. Everything was working great. I even enabled system UI tuner.
Now for some reason today, I have lost my quick setting pulldown from the top of my screen.
When I pull down down all I get the time and date batt and wifi symbol but no setting beyond that.
Also my home button seems to have a mind as it's own also, press it sometimes and it takes me back, other times I have to press my tab button and swipe programs away to get back to my home screen.
Searched and searched the web for answers, can't find any.
Anybody help?
Think I've answered my own question, I swapped user to guest. And it was back.
Switched back again to my profile and it worked, I think a program I had running was causing it to stop...
where can i find system ui tuner?

If you have marshmallow hold down the gog on your pull down menu from top. It will start to spin then it will enable system UI tuner...
