I have been trying several rpd apps like pocket cloud, iTap rdp, remote desktop, jump, gotomypc. I mostly use Pocketcloud pro, but may buy iTap pro. Problem is that all these apps have the same " bug" . The remote screen as a whole, does not remain fixed within the physical screen of the tablet, but moves when you move a finger on the screen.
Do you know of any app that does not show this behaviour?

Jump Desktop is what I use. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

I use spashtop. You can configer it for whole screen or different resoution
Advantage whole screen: better sight at tablet, disadvantage: PC has a higher resolution -> pictograms are replaced

Does anyone have this app on their Prime yet?
I have it for my Droid X, with the small screen, and using it can be annoying as my desktop is set at 1920x1080.
I would hope that the screen size and resolution of the Prime would make this app much easier to use.
I've tried it on my Prime. It works well. I don't feel like it works any better than on my phone, it's just easier to see, haha.
doesn't the splashtop app that comes with the prime do the same thing? is logmein better?

LogMeIn allows you to remote into multiple PCs with just one or two clicks, not at the same time mind you.
However if you have more than one PC, you can set them all up on the same LogMeIn account and access them from any mobile device with the app or through any web browser on any internet connection.
I use it for technical support for my parents and friends.
Splashtop can do multiple PC connections too.
Tried nearly all of the remote desktop apps a while ago and purchased Splashtop because it seemed easily better than the others - in no small part because it is able to use external keyboard and mouse properly (including the Transformer dock). None of the others I tried at that time did, including Logmein.
I originally used Logmein, but switched to Splashtop remote desktop. Though i recently updated to the new version and i have to say I'm loving the new version of Logmein better. I can view multiple monitors at the same time on my Prime. Also changed the way the screen cursor works as well.

Ooh, multiple monitors - that is nice! Does it finally play nicely with external keyboard and mouse inputs though?
I took a video showing Splashtop with the Prime and a Logitech Wireless USB (Unifying receiver) over HDMI to my HDTV FWIW:
(Navigation for the connectivity demo: bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the browser @ 1:00, USB adapter with wireless USB keyboard and mouse combo @ 2:55, N64oid with high res textures and the Logitech USB Games Controller @ 6:48, Shadowgun THD optimised for Tegra 3 with a PS3 Controller @ 9:07, 1080p MKV playback from a 500GB portable HDD with Dice Player to the HDTV @ 13:11, accomanying blog piece http://www.androidnz.net/2012/01/asus-transformer-prime-video-playback.html)
I have been experiencing annoying unresponsive issues with my prime while connected through HDMI to my TV. I will start watching a TV show or movie without problems... until I choose to watch another episode/movie, then the tablet doesn't recognize my touch. At first, I thought it was the Netflix app, but then I noticed that the issue replicated in other apps, browser, keyboard, even while selecting a recent app... In the browser (any browser i try)is even more annoying - if I attempt to enter a web address, the browser will act up, zoom in, refresh and even minimize itself...
I have been using HDMI for a week so I'm not sure if this is related to the most recent software update. Has anybody experience this issue? Any known solutions??

Mine works flawlessly. C2 serial, running the latest virtuous from with beta kernel from motley.
I was movies and different TV shows usually in 720p (1080p takes up too much room!)

Hello Everyone,
I have general question regarding remote desktop usage, Android to Android. I have the following equipment:
1.) Galaxy Nexus Phone
2.) Asus Transformer Prime
Both are unlocked running custom ROMs.
I want to be able to remote control my Galaxy Nexus Phone with my Asus Transformer Prime Tablet. I've used apps like Tablet Remote, etc. however they lack the functionality of the touch screen.
Does anyone know of a solution for a remote touch screen desktop, that would allow me to control my Galaxy Nexus by using the touch screen of the Asus Transformer Prime? I'm looking for something like Slashtop remote login (Android to PC, except in this case Android to Android), so the screen of my phone shows on my tablet, and allows me to use the tablet to remotely control my Galaxy Nexus when it is hooked up to my TV. Such an app would be very useful for entertainment, such as controlling netflixs, playing video games, music, etc.
Would appreciate any direction you might be able to provide. Thanks in advance.
Wave.
Install vnc server to nexus and vnc viewer to prime. That should work

I'm thinking about getting another cheap tablet to use to occupy my toddler while traveling....but i need either an app or script i can run easily, or rather that my wife can run easily, that will disable touch and the hard buttons so that he won't pause or exit a video. Anyone know of such an app?

Before I go explore other paid apps, I want to know if there is a way to turn my Transformer Prime into a second monitor (extended desktop) for my laptop.
I tried using the Splashtop 1 app in MyCloud but it seems I could only duplicate whatever's on my laptop screen to my tablet. I couldn't find a way to change it into a monitor to display other things.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Try iDisplay. I use it quite often at exhibitions on my Prime and link it via wifi to my laptop (Win 7 Pro)
