Have you looked for 'downgrade nokia lumia 800' on google? On the cabsender topic page there are a collection of cabs available. Don't know if it's possible to write them back one way or another. If you find the solution keep us posted. I'm trying to get rid of the singaporian update to get my own dutch official firmware working, and I to did not make a backup of the phone
Maybe it is a stupid question and if so, I apologize for this.
I bought a Lumia 710 and I want to interop-unlock it. Just checked for every thread in the forum but I don't have found anything that fits to me.
If I follow one of the guide in the forum, I flash my phone and everything goes ok.
When I want to return to stock ROM (example for warranty), what are the steps to follow?
very thanks to everyone!
I would imagine you'd need to download the stock ROM from NaviFirm and flash it with either Nokia Care Suite for DLOAD bootloader or for QC bootloader there is another program you need to use, but I can't find the name of it.
All info is here, just read everything
And this is what I thinked about, but I want a confirm.
The version I have of NCS Product Support Tool is 2012.12.5.3 in normal mode found my phone, but in QC bootloader don't find it.
If i wish to restore original rom, there is a guide for it?
yes, you use NSS to restore your bootloader. check it out in development thread and say THANKS to the Developer because he has mede it easy to use.
Cheers
Use the NSS Suite to get back the Nokia DLOAD then just update normally to get back to the original state for your warranty claims
Sent from my Lumia 710 using Board Express
Ok, thanks to all, for now I don't have necessity to claim for warranty, but you know, Fortune is blind but bad luck sees us well!!!

Your developer edition 920 is the exact same model as the Rogers one.
Flash the Rogers Firmware, you should be fine, only negative thing is that you are gonna get the Rogers Logo on boot and a Rogers App in the phone which you can simply uninstall.
Once the developer edition clean firmware hits the servers, you can re-flash.
That's your only solution for now.

Did you figure this out? I have a developer edition 920, and want the Portico update, but am worried because the original firmware is still not on there, nor is the updated firmware. I thought about flashing to a Rogers firmware in order to get the update, but I'm worried it will simlock it (I use t-mobile USA). Thanks!

You aren't using that Dev phone to develop on, are you...
The Rogers firmware will not SIM lock your phone to Rogers. May I humbly suggest you do some light reading on how SIM locks work?
You're welcome.
Hi,
I've got two developer 920s, one that I got from the build conference last year (and has no issues), and another that was sent to me directly from the nokia developer group in Finland. The one from finland came with an odd ROM installed (059N6W4) and because of that cannot install the amber update over the air. It is currently 1232.2107.1242.0001.
Nokia support wanted me to send it off to some company in Alabama (who's website doesn't even work right) to have it flashed, but I figure I should be able to do it just as easily.
But I can't get the nokia care suite to flash it with the proper firmware (059R2L5). It complains that the "FFU file is not meant for this product." when I try to flash it. Its odd because under Basic Info, it detects the product code as 059R2L5, but under Extended Info it says the basic product code is 059N6W4. Nokia care suite wants to upgrade it to 3047.0000.1326.2001, but just won't do it.
any suggestions on how to get this thing updated properly?

use refurbish option instead of upgrade and I think you need to flash pre-portico rogers rom in order to perform switch to 059R2L5

Thanks for the tip!
I flashed on the ancient rogers firmware, then did all the over the air updates, then was able to successfully flash the amber developer rom.
All is good.
I had same problem
Hi,
I have the exact same problem, how do I get a hold of the pre-portico rogers rom?
Thanks,

Hello,
I am new on the site and thank you in advance for all your help. My problem is this:
I bought Lumia 920 in USA in AT&T. It was unlocked phone to work with any SIM card. I have noticed that I do not have 4g speed on my phone and I do have carrier which supports 4g. Now I see in other topics that I have wrong rom. It is for USA. My current Rom is rm-820 and I see that I need rm-821. Ok, thats fine I can flash my phone and it should work. But, every topic, every page that I found on Google doesn't work. To be more precise topics do work but I can't get rm-821 :-/ I saw that Nokia blocked those servers something like that. Can someone give a me a way to put rom but technique that works ? I am from Croatia if this matters for rom.
Thank you very much guys !

ATT Lumia 920 Firmware Flash
Hi,
I might have missed some methods to do this task but in trying to debrand an ATT lumia 920 (RM-820) that's fully updated to WP 8.1, I can't seem to find a successful way to do it. I've done this procedure in the past successfully by flashing the specified Rogers firmware to the phone with Nokia Care Suite then on to an RM-821 firmware but what worked in the past no longer works. Nokia Care Suite now gives me an error message that the FFU file from my flash file and the FFU file on the phone don't match and the flash procedure halts. I've tried several different Rogers firmware files and no luck with any of them. Any ideas how I can accomplish this task?
