I've only disabled the sms to mms conversion and added call recording.

I can tell you that I haven't had a problem with callrecorder by skvalex exit I haven't heard of anyone getting to work for Bluetooth calls yet.
IvanNCase is right! It works even on stock kernel.
Thanks, the skvalex one is working. I love xda.

Make this easy so you don't have to download a 1GB file.
Here is the Bluetooth fix that works on slimbean and liquid roms so far. It's the audio_policy.conf file from the note 2 system dump. Copy it to the system/etc folder, fix permission and reboot. Save a copy of the original file just in case. If it's works on other roms, let everyone know.

Made a flashable zip. You have to select "mount system" before flashing.

Glad this worked. I'm interested to see what else we can find from the dump that will be useful.
Hoping to find a fix for google play music. Right now I have to try playing a song, then go into apps and force close it, then open it back up and it plays. Only have to do it after a reboot tho. Currently on CM10 M1. Did it with some previous nightlies as well.

none the less thx to th eop for this fix , I have my own fix waiting to be tested in my thread ... i any one's up for it
Ok, I was chasing this BT music issue. As you many people know, some Roms are fine with music play but not BT streaming, some Roms are fine with BT streaming but not music play.
Currently, I'm in the SlimBean with the auto_policy.conf file trick. I realized that it requires some specific music apps.
I tried built-in Music app, and Player Pro (which was my main), both don't work even if with the conf file trick.
I tried the JetAudio and PowerAmp, and they work with the trick, so I'm sticking with PowerAmp.
Phone call, music streaming through BT both work. Also, I use iSyncr (and wi-fi) to sync with my iTunes Smartlist. And all my music files are 95% m4a and 5% mp3.
I tried all outstanding JB Roms for Note, and I will keep looking for a better solution. Thanks all!

So apparently we got screwed out of the Screen Recording feature ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j-oTLGPUEY ), there's an app on the market called "ScreenRecorder", I keep getting "Fatal Error!" has anyone been able to get it to work?
What is up with Verizon taking so many useful applications that came with the phone off it? Bet there was a problem with their bloatware and the apps. Even then keep the apps and fictions and lose the bloat!

I just discovered Noyze Volume Control. It gives you the option to seamlessly overlay a custom or expanded volume panel, a feature I had missed since retiring my rooted GNex. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.barrasso.android.volume Noyze comes with themes and is highly customizable, with in-app purchases (IAPs) for extra features. I found there was no need to make a IAP, as all the features I needed are free.

That's off, would you mind submitting a debug log (in Advanced)? There's no official way for an app to know if the two are linked, so perhaps the detection method isn't working on this device.
