Change USB cable. Probabaly solve it.
It is probably because u enabled the developer options in settings. Settings > developer options > off

I can't honestly give you the exact answer on that.. but i had the charging issues recently.. i've read a thread here in xda about it and turning off the developer option did help the charging issue.

Yes you can.
Settings > Back up and reset > Collect diagnostics > Uncheck
First thing I did, haha.
Ran supercurio's carrier IQ detector. It says the software is there but it seems to be inactive.
Edit: Thanks CitrixLemon. Didn't know it could be disabled.

There are security/privacy concerns plus extra drain on battery. Google Carrier IQ

Will this damage the screen? If not how would I set the screen to stay on while charging?
Thanks!
It could, but settings > developer options > stay awake

Unfortunate. It is for me on CM9.
Found a somewhat solution. I programed a tectile to toggle car mode. The only problem is that it opens the s voice app, which is kind of annoying.
I am looking for that too. I remember my S2 had an option to keep awake even in stock roms. Is there any 3d party application that is able to do that?
Hi ...
In last couple of days my SGSIII went to negative colors automatically without even touching that option and I had to reverse the colors manually to get original colors back.. I am not sure what could be the problem nor have any idea about why it's happening.
I haven't installed any such app that will do that or so..
So can anyone suggest me what to look for as I already factory reset it too but to no available..
P.S. - It only changed for three times and not more.. Also while talking there was some sweat on the glass, could that be a reason though it didn't changed it's colors at that moment but later..
Thanks.
Funnily enough this happend to me today. V. strange

I have the same issue with Omega 27.1 but every time after I disabled it, it automatically goes back to negative colors if I leave it idle for awhile. Any idea?

Are you using siyah kernel? Disable that toggle setting in it's settings..
Use Stweaks and under screen, negative toggle setting.

on Android 5.0.2 there is an option where you enable (and disable) negative colors by clicking 3 times the cetral button I was looking for a week what made my phone (samsung A3) turn on the negative colors. So, the easiest way is to go to settings and search for "negative colors", Its hard to explain where becouse my phone is on greek language but there are two options you have to uncheck in "Accessibilities". One option to turn on/of the negative colors and the other to turn off the option clicking 3 times the central button. Hope that is uderstude and helpfull
update: (ok found it in english)
go to "Settings", then "Accessibility" and tap on "Direct Access"
i got same issue on my samsung galavy V, but there is no 'negative color' button on my accesibility
can someone help me?
Hi guys, new to both android and this forum so please cut me some slack! This appeared on the screen of my GSIII this morning and I don't know how I did it, any ideas what is it and how to get rid of it? From what I can tell it seems to be a list of active programs or instructions all tied to a bar graph, depending on how busy the phone gets depends on how much colour you can see against each individual item.
Any help is really appreciated....cheers Paul

Thanks very much, now corrected
Since I posted my fast dormancy hack (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018894) I've noticed two things:
Many people report better battery life
Some people have trouble applying it
So, I spent 20 minutes putting together an app that toggles this setting. It achieves the same thing as mentioned in the referenced thread, but should not require root (can't test that as I'm rooted). It's virtually untested, so please report issues.
Instructions:
* Install & launch
* Status: line shows current status
* Use buttons to enable/disable
* Reboot after changing setting
I hope this will help someone.
Source: https://github.com/jonasl/LGOG_FD_Toggle
I know I should Google it but...when does fast dormancy effect the phone? I am on a fringe LTE/4g area. If I am on the road its LTE most of the time. Does it effect everyone with the device?
Sent from my EVO using Xparent ICS Tapatalk 2
This FD setting only affects you when you're on HSPA networks. It doesn't affect when your phone will be on a specific network or anything like that. It doesn't change any radio setting, all it does it disable a periodic wakeup which can drain the battery.
It will not help everyone equally. The only way to know is to test with your conditions. If it doesn't help you, revert (enable) and move along.
You rock. I'll report after some testing to see how it works.
Thanks for making this foolproof.

I installed it and when I opened the app it said the status was already 'Enabled". Did I need to set it after installing, or does the install/startup do that the first time?

It's enabled by default, the whole point of this hack is disabling it. So what you're seeing is expected
So should this be enabled or disabled for it to do its thing?

This is why I haven't posted on xda for a couple of years until this week. Guess it's time to go somewhere else for good. Sigh.
What's wrong with reading the linked description?
It's supposed to be Disabled...
With your phone at default settings (you didn't edit it manually already), it should be Enabled.
Press 'Disabled' and restart your phone. Boys and manuals/directions..
The hack is DISABLE Fast Dormancy. So why would you Enable it? xD Just sayin.

I've been on XDA long enough to know how to do sh!t. The description states it allows you to enable or disable. I was confused. Excuse me for trying to gain an understanding.

Shouldnt this be in Themes & Apps being this is not a kernel, rom or recovery? maybe if you stuck around for those 2 years, you would know where to post apps.
MODS PLEASE MOVE

Hi!
Is this a LG specific app?
AFAUK is that sqlite file the same among other devices?
Thanks.
EDIT: On my sonyericsson I have a "Fast Dormancy manager" dedicated app; If I freeze it fd seems to not generate wakeups (as I said here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1830612)
Huge Thanks to you!!! Better battery life and Jellybean will make this phone the best out of the ones out there. :good::good:
