Any chance u could do a mod to enable the infinite scrolling like on the S3 on the homescreens and app drawer. Thanks man.

4x5 or 5x5 launcher and infinite scrolling would be awesome man! Thanks! Right now I use Nova to achieve this but I'd rather use the stock launcher. Less bloat and better battery.

Any chance of getting the Lidroid toggle mod like this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1876384
I am going to see if I can figure it out but if someone has done this in the past or has it already completed maybe they could post it

Any chance of removing the battery meter? I like the look of it not being there for cleanness.

Does anyone know if this ROM we are using will block or allow an OTA update from Verizon? Is there a way(or a mod) that we can do that will block all OTA's so that we never even get notified(nagged) that one is available?

I think the OTA is not disable, but no 100% sure.
you could try this I found a while ago
Delete the update located in /cache/fota/ and then click the update notification prompt to install it, it will instantly fail and the notification will disappear.
Disable Otacerts.zip located in /etc/security by renaming it to otacerts.zip.bak
Disable FotaClient.apk and FWUpgrade.apk by renaming with .bak extensions located in /system/app/
Don't for get to reboot the phone
I think by disabling FWUpgrade.apk should block OTA

Ok I did everything except disable FotaClient.apk because I cannot find it.
As for the others I renamed them and also froze them in TiBu
In another thread someone said we also need to disable SDM.apk as well?
http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...-latest-verizon-ota-rooted-phones-imm76d.html

I'm a noob when it comes to this. How do I flash these to my system? Can I use Odin?
Also is there a theme that is just like stock and with all the above mods and everscroll on the home screen and app screen?

Sorry guys got sick , but feeling better today

WOW Great!! Thanks ^^
I use that and it's ace but I find it often 'slips' down the notifications list. Is there some trick to making it stay at the top?

It does that occasionally for me too. Guess that's the downside of it being an app instead of systemui mod. But at least it works.
Also if you want the gps / nfc to be direct toggles and you have root. Make a system app of it: http://vps201.fra05-inx03.webhod.de/thomas/j4velin_development/dl-root.php?app=nt
/edit: in the settings of the app there is a toggle "display in the on-going no notifications section". Seem like if you uncheck it, it will be moved back to the top.
It looks pretty nice too. The CM9 icons you can download from within the app fit the xps theme pretty well:
Yeah I have it as a system app and use the CM icons.

That doesn't seem to make any difference for me. It still drops below most new notifications. Ah well, it'll do until some modded SystemUI's start to appear.
I'm working on it but i dosen't loads becose of the odex file when somebody wil deodex the room i have it ready!

I have most the firmware deodexed already to do notification toggles plus do power button restart / reboot to cwm.
I can upload the deodexed framework/res and android.policy jars when I get home so we can do the above.
Having trouble deodexing qcrilhook.odex tho.
Edit: These are NOT pre-modded, just stock ready for your modding pleasure.
Deodexed the following:
-android.policy.jar
-framework-res.apk
-framework.jar
-SystemUI.apk

thanks mate but pls can u upload them to box or something else the framework res are damaged i really need them!
---------EDIT---------
the SystemUI.apk is damaged to!
to be sure upload them all on external site pls
Another great app for showing toggles in the notification area is Power Controls: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc
Unlike Notification toggle, it DOES stay above other notifications. Pretty awesome all round.

Does not support Reboot and Shutdown, so: no
If you're just looking for an app to add notification widgets I use "elixir 2" it does this and more, I've just got resource monitoring activated temp, cpu, mem, sdcard, internal etc on the notification bar but u can add buttons and apps etc also.
But I think we want the real deal ;-)

There are a few good tutorials about I use:

I suspect you'll need the SemcGenericUxpRes.apk framework file as dependency when decompiling.

Nice Nice. Waiting for a download link. Nguyenxuanhoa is one of the best MOD ever, occasionally he is a lazy man.
was wallpaper scrolling enabled here? anyways, thanks for your great work sir, keep it up
Good luck with the ROM mate. 2 things. You have said 2.4 Camera when I think it is 4.2 camera. And secondly
ATTENTION TO ALL USING MULTI SCREEN WINDOW
Do you love multi screen windows but hate that stupid tab on the left hand side of your homescreen? Well, I just worked out a very fast and simple way to disable and enable this multi screen tab without having to disable the mod at all and without having to go in to any menus or settings to do it.
How? Make sure you already have the multi window box ticked in Settings>Display! Now "While on your homescreen" hold the capacitive back button down and then tap the capacitive menu button without releasing the back button. This will make the tab disappear (Not disable the feature). Repeat these steps to bring back the main multi screen bar, click on the home screen to minimise the multi screen bar back to a "tab"
EDIT* Looks like this works by simply hold the back button rather than tapping menu button too.
Developers might want to add this to their OP or FAQ!
I hope this helps somebody as picky as me
*If this fails to work for you, my setup below*
Nova Launcher
Omega 16.1
Green Circle Battery which can be found here

Hi,
You can do a little thing...using root explorer copy SystemUI from preload/symlink to yur PC.
Then with winrar or 7zip (i use winrar) extract drawable-hdpi from SystemUI, and search for the 2 icons that you see on statusbar.
Then using Gimp or photoshop, just erase the icon, (not the transparency) and set his size to 1 pixel.
You'll have a transparent icon with 1 pixel size. Copy it back to drawable-hdpi and rebuild using winrar or 7zip, and copy to your phone.
With root-explorer copy again to preload/symlink, and give appropriate permissions.
Reboot, and your icons will be gone...
Don't remove them from SystemUI...you'll lose systemUI...

Systemui.apk

I am in no way a pro themer or editor. I compiled a system.apk removing the location icon and battery icon from the notification bar since they bug the crap out of me. Of course u need to be rooted and use root explorer to push the apk in system/app folder. Just make sure u make a quick backup of the original systemui.apk just in case. Once pasted make sure permissions are set and reboot and voila.
I am not liable nor responsible for messing up your device use at ur own risk.
Download Systemui.apk. Herehttp://db.tt/gtama91x

Thanks for this. Quick request though, any chance you could make one without the alarm clock icon and posibly even get rid of the AM/PM for those of us using the 12h option? or can you just tell me what tools you used to do this, I've done some patching before but haven't been keeping up with the latest tools for this.
If you can get rid of the AM/PM it would be awesome as it takes up way too much space in the status bar

Can we have one that just removes the location icon?
There's a guy in the Developer subforum who put the WiFi toggle back into the Notifications panel too. Maybe you could add that in as well.

[THEME]Droid DNA Cubed

I doubt I'll do much more with this. I took the parts of other things that were out there and rolled them up how I liked. The majority of this is from nitsuj17, some of it I got other places, and some of it I made myself.
Anybody who knows me knows I like some color in my status bar. I did not want to make a whole ROM, so I made this.
This is for a deodexed stock system.
It has:
Wake with volume keys
Hidden GPS icon
Hidden debugging icon
AOSP recents
Rotating Rosie
5x6 app drawer
Remap recents button
Hidden NFC icon
Advanced Power Menu
Removed three dots menu
Centered clock
Accurate battery
And of course, the colored icons in the status bar, and the custom lockring!
I think that's it. Flash it in recovery.

Great job mate! The colours are perfect. Any chance for a circle battery mod with similar colour

Would anyone be interested in transparent status bars?

The statusbar will be transparent on the home screen (like the S4) when you click into an app itll go back to black. This will be a project that takes a lot of time because I will have to do this for every rom individually and then keep updating it as they do. I dont want to start this project if no one cares for it.
Yes or no? Vote in the poll.
Also, can you guys list roms that dont get updated back to back?
Roms like Jelly Beans is perfect because he isnt always pushing updates, roms like that will be ideal.
Great idea, would you do one for the stock OTA beanstown compiled? Deodexed. Itll never see an update lol

I didnt realize that. Sorry guys, Im going to have to pass on this project because Xposed does allow you do to this + way more options.
First download xposed framework: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1763596&d=1361912261
Its an APK, just install it then open up the app and hit the "install/update" button. After this restart the phone and download Xposed Tweak Box located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1757849&d=1361739667
Install that apk as well. Now go back to the xposed installer (its the first app you installed) and click where it says, "modules." Select Tweak Box now go back to the Tweak Box app and customize away. It gives you options for any status bar color, transparency and much more.
Give these folks a thanks, here is the link to Xposed Framework and Tweak Box below:

Edit: Some roms already come with this, some dont and Xposed Framework is universal.

I was under the impression you'd be doing it like on the S4. Although xposed will allow a transparent statusbar, when you enter an app it stays that way.
In your mod you talked about having it go black once you enter an app which xposed will NOT do.
For whatever reason I'm not able to get the Xposed tweakbox to make the status bar transparent. I'm running beans build 14. The slider is to the right making it transparent. I've tried to make other changes, but no luck. Any suggestions?
