3rd party Download Apps - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I was just downloading beans3 and noticed I have zero details about the current download other than a percentage of completion in the drop down menu.
Is there a way to see more details or does anyone recommend a free download app to see more details such as speed, time remaining, time elapsed, ect...
Unlocked, rooted, running bean2 currently, nova launcher
Thanks!

I would be interested as well. The only one I've seen different is on my old HTC Incredible

They're working pretty furiously on it over in the main Android apps & games forum:

Will any MODS pls move this thread to the Q&A section where it belongs?
OP, there are already 2 threads here about the Google Now app...If you had any questions, you could've asked it there instead of creating a new thread.

SVoice Download

I flashed my phone with Jelly beans rel 3 and S Voice is gone, anyone know how to get this back? I would post in dev but I can't until my post count is 10+ (maybe a verification system would work to counter this?)
SVoice is gone because it's really no good. Google Now is much better. But during installation I think there should have been a screen that asked if you wanted to keep it or not.

True, Google Now is much better. I hope when you mean post in the dev section, you mean writing your question in that ROM's thread and not start a new topic in the dev section.

^THIS.During the aroma install it asks which apps you want to keep. Just re flash and select it. When I went from build 3 to 4 I got it to try out. Google now is way faster to get to and get stuff done.

Diagnostic screen for verizon note 2

Does anyone know how to access the diagnostic screen on an verizon note 2? I've tried the dial pad codes that work for other carriers but they don't seem to work on my Verizon note 2.

You gotta unlock the dialer codes and hidden menu. Check the development forum. I posted an apk to enable it and no, you don't need root. You do need touchwiz though (and preferably not CleanRom).
Thanks. Worked perfectly

New to the Note on Verizon

What's up guys, i just switched from an e4gt on sprint to a Note 2 on Verizon, and i got to looking, I'm on software Verizon 4.1.1 and when I go to software update my only option is to install deferred sw ? I plan on rooting this thing eventually so i didn't want to install it if it would create problems trying to root it later on down the road. Thanks in advance

That's to go to the L4 update which re-locks the bootloader. You can unlock both, but I'd recommend just rooting and unlocking it now because it'd be easier.
By the way, I came up from the E4GT as well Welcome brother!
Might want to read the very 1st post in this section... it is pinned.

Well I took the update and unlocking and rooting took like 5 minutes or maybe less.
But I will say there were a LOT of people that had a LOT of problems unlocking and rooting.

I rooted and unlocked after the update. Whe and if you have rooted, i would check out the Paranoid Android 3.0 ROM.

Blink feed for GS4

Does anyone know if there is anyway to get this on the S4?
Sent from my rooted, debloated, S4 using xda premium
can't; it's part of the Sense framework.
if someone ever ported sense 5 to the gs4, yeah you'd get it..but most likely nobody is going to bother because it's such a tedious task.
Maybe see if you can do a full page flip board widget

Buy an HTC One and pretend it's an S4? As has been stated. it's not likely to happen.
