Hi,
My friend has a really weird problem with the Samsung Keyboard. The problem is with the delete key in English Alphabet and portrait mode (US Keyboard), other modes work fine.. The problem is whenever he presses the delete key it displays the letter "L" instead, he has to press below the delete key for it work. As I said it works fine in other modes (Landscape or numeral), and UK keyboard works fine.
How can we fix this? We cleared the keyboard's data and it did nothing...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Recently I am having problems with my phone, and am wondering if it is a software or hardware problem.
I have tried loading the TNT4 rom & WS5SE roms (this is a g4), and there is no change (im on the Tnt4 one now).
The touchscreen works okay, but the soft key buttons do not. The right bottom one is okay, the left one triggers the right one, the send button show the letters "uytga" on the phone screen when i press them, the end button shows "mn" or something, the camera button works perfect, the comm manager button is the same as the voice button (even when i map it with a program it says "button 4").
It even happens on the soft keys on the keyboard when i slide it out.
Also I used Start-sSPL to put the roms on. Is there a way I can get the OEM one back on or fix the button problem?
Any help will be appreciated.

The same happens with camera and explorer button. Some of the keyboard buttons are messed and every time i press them more than one characters are written. This happened after going to wm6. I'm in Brazil, so I'm trying to put ptBr (Brazilian Portuguese) to work.
At this time, for example, the 'a' key starts a screen with special chars. The Sym key prints a 'z'. The space bar print '?q" and sets the volume up.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.
Can anyone at here help me with this problem? I'm new at here. This is the problem, before today, I can type chinese without problems until just now when I type, the typing box (when you press on the space to type, then the keyboard will just pop up for you to type) will automatically close when I press any key on the keyboard. This problem only happens when I type chinese words with PinYin, I can type english words without any problem. As example, the keyboard pop out then I want to type 哈 in it, then when I press the first PinYin of 哈, which is h, then the keyboard will automatically close and nothing shows at the blank space, then I'll press the blank space again, the keyboard pops out for me to type, then when I press anyone of the words on the keyboard, it closes again. This happens over and over again. Anyone can solve this please? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Guys,
Having an issue. Ive got a default ROM and i just dont have the voice input (Mic) on the keyboard even though its checked in the keyboard setting.
Any clues?
Hi,
I have the same problem: no mic button on my keyboard.
I have Omega 6 rom. I tried to change keyboard but could not find a way
to get the mic button. And yes it is checked in the keyboard setting.
Any ideas ?
Update
I downloaded Ultra Keyboard from the play store, installed it, went to parameters/language and input, chose ultra keyboard and got the mic button along
with the Ultra keyboard.
I then choose the Android keyboard (in the language and input settings), unchecked the ultra keyboard and ... tada got the regular android keyboard with the mic button.
Problem solved ! Still don't know why there was no mic button at first.
You can change the button's functionality by keeping it pressed and then selecting the mic button if you want on the stock keyboard.
Just long press the settings key on the keyboard (left of the space bar), and you will get the voice input key. The last selection will remain on that settings key.
