Hey guys,
So I have a problem, I updated my girlfriends XMP to stock .431, and now shes all pissy at me because on the lock screen the camera is on the slide instead of sound which was on her gb fw. Is there anyway to get this back onto the lockscreen with out using a custom rom or an app like golocker or widgetlocker??
Cheers,
Evil.

Thanks for your response. I didn't think there was a way of going about it. Does anyone know what I would need to edit to be able to change this myself?

Then you will need root, knowledge about Java and XML, Android, apk editing, compiling and decompiling and some other stuff.
Or you could just downgrade to 2.3.4 using flashtool.

Thanks but don't want to downgrade.
If some one could please point me to the files that I need to work with that would be a big help. I can teach myself from there.

I just want to share how to make a navigation panel like nexus..
Just write on build.prop :
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
But you can't take a screenshoot with home + power button..
I know this thread is old, still I hope somebody could help.
When I activate the 'nexus' navigation buttons is it then possible to deactivate the stock hard- and software buttons?

Go to /system/usr/keylayout
For me(Pac 4.2.2) i have a file called "janice.kl". Opening it as a text file gives me the list of buttons.
Put a star(*) at the start of the line wich u dont want.
Putting a star before a line will deactivate that key.
The file in stock rom is named differently. Find it.
Use this carefully!! I am not responsible if u stand in a situation without hardkeys and softkeys.
P.S.- I hav used this for quite a while; its fun!
From an inSanely 'ADVANCE'd phone!
To disable hw buttom go to system>usr>generic.kl added #for buttom you want to disable.
Ex #key 134 back ----drop down.

You can, but not with this mod. You need to find guide how to do it with framework-res.apk.

I really wanted to post this to the forum above, but dont have enough forum posts, is there anyway to disable lockscreens altogether?????? I would like to use the Holo lockscreen or WP7 but they seem to have issues overiding the lockscreens already on the Jellybean ROM.
Thanks for updating the message colours, ROM much appreciated

"The forum above" would be the wrong place to post this (how is it related to development? => It's not). This is the correct place.
AFAIK, there's no way to do what you want to do (disable the stock lockscreen and it only). Might want to make sure your alternate lockscreens always have enough memory, or else they'll be killed and won't be able to override the default lockscreen.
Yes there is a way to do it
Open your notification panel and go to extreme right
There you will see a toggle showing lock icon
Disabled it by clicking on it and voila
Well, next time
Ask your questions on Q&A section.

Works on AOKP 4.3.1 I really like it. It is so useful if the device lies on the table.

I don't think there's a way to do this without breaking the notification drawer's swipe down gesture. Statusbar Scroll to Top uses the main notification drawer to receive the touch event. (since the notification drawer uses appears when tapping the statusbar).

notification led off after double tap
Hi, normally, if there is new notifications (sms, email, call, etc) not viewed in notification drawer (literally, not expanded in order to see notification details), the LED blinks when the screen is off. The LED stops blinking when you open the proper app to see what notification is talking about, but also it stops if you expand the notification drawer and simply see some notification details.
Well, it seems that android make stops LED to blink with only one tap on the status bar = assume you have expanded completely the notification drawer. This is not a problem because usually no one is tapping the status bar, buy only for expanding notification drawer. Until now.
So, if there are notifications not viewed and you double tap the status bar to sleep the phone, the LED is not going to blink.
This issue is not big deal, and the module es really awesome, many thanks! :good:
When I receive a notification of any kind there used to be a clear button.. As of last night it has gone missing. I'm running alliance ROM build 25. Clean installed. I know I could just use to aosp clear button...but I don't like it. Maybe I disabled it tinkering with all these options and now cannot find it again. Can someone maybe point me to the right direction to find it again? I should also say that I flashed black glass theme from the ota installer. But the clear button was there before and after flashing it. Any help you be very much appreciated.

Custom settings-Rom control-statusbar & toggles-notification panel options- notification title checked... Restart UI to apply
Took me hours to figure that one out!
Thank you!
It's funny cause it has two similar options to check.
Notifications title □ show/hide
No notifications title □ show/hide
There's so many options it fun and confusing sometimes but heck it's hard to remember/learn what does what thanks again
