Me using CM7.2 rom fuzz build, I am not able to make video call using Back Camera.

Hello all.
Does anyone know of any app which will record calls without it needing to be in speaker mode?
Also finding a voice mail app would be handy too!

I'm using Total Recall 1.5.7. Works very well.
I want a call recorder for 2.1 Eclair.
Someone knows something to work with 2.1?
All the apps I've tried doesn't record voices at all.
Total recall call recorder works for me only for incoming voice, not for my voice.
Ultimate Voice Recorder only records outgoing voice...
Would anybody be so kind to post the required settings for two-way recording?

I have tried a lot of call recording apps from market, None of them worked for me in any ROM i had, until i flashed chinese ROM 1.11. Chinese ROMS are the only ones who provide support for call recording and they also have a stock builting voice recorder and a firewall for calls sms blocking.
So i now use a chinese ROM with a call recorder app from the Market. (i dont like the stock one, it beeps every few secs)
Yes, call recorder apps work only on the Chinese 2.2 rom, which has a simple call recorder buildin.
Any chance to find a two way recorder for Froyo based on Fin ROM?

I tried using that link you used, for froyo call recording, and everything went well, but I got a beep every 8 seconds. It's infuriating. I know that I can push a button to stop it, but I hear that some people don't have it at all.
How is that?
anyone tried Skype, Yahoo or Paltalk Video call on I9003? I think. there is some camera driver problem. I can see others video on skype. but they cant see mine.
During Yahoo video call, when my front camera turns ON. Device gets reboot.. sometime When auto rotate is enable. camera preview shows just green color on Paltalk,
No problem on video recording and still photo works fine. problem only with internet video call.
tested with 2.3.5 XXKPM, XXKPN and 2.3.6 XXKPQ
please reply. if anyone faced same ?

i have before x 10 a lot of phones and i use video call from my network with sony ericsson T 715 and nokia E65...both phones have only back camera...any way to use network video call on android phones with back camera because it's working with skype and yahoo?
Check for the Tango app. It lets you use the back camera for video calls like Skype.
The official Yahoo Messenger can do this, tested.

From today, Skype is out of beta. But I still can't activate video chat on my Mozart. Just wanted to know if it is only me or anyone else is also facing this issue.
Video chat is working with my.Mozart. but I'm using the back camera.

I tried video chatting at a higher speed WiFi (256kbps) and it worked without any problem. Earlier I was using 30kbps. Lesson- Video chat on Skype on WP7 doesn't work well at low speed.

on this topic has anyone been able to use the earpiece to listen to other people though skype? because whenever i try and even press the speaker button on skype it just plays through the main speaker

Update - Problem caused by "Voice CMD for apps" settings.

Mine is on standard api. And I use aac. As the format
Custom Roms can cause a problem cm9 records outgoing but it's very quiet

Call Recording
Try the "Digital Call Recorder Demo" the app is in Google play. It works perfect for the Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), It is the 30 day demo version, though, but it works. Two-way recording with good volume on both sides. You should give it a try.
