Wrong section, we aren't familiar with that phone. You don't want us too give you wrong advice on what to flash. Use the link above to figure out what to do.

Wiped Dalvik Cache
unplugged the battery (unplugging many times battery coul rouin the s3? )
Technically now i just have to install the Official ROM or a custom one right ?
( so angry about my laziness ... i could have modded my s3 without any help just reading this forum :| )

If you have recovery working, then yea try flashing a proper ROM. If not then there's odin go back to stock and start over.

those all sounds like the right process, but I'm not telling you what to install on a phone I'm not 100% familiar with. You know you're being lazy but yet continue to, and then wonder why won't we won't help you, it's not cause we don't want to cause of your laziness, it's cause we don't want to be the blame for your phone no longer working.

I am not sure with the next passage ( Yesterday bough my first android..i come from a symbian and i think i am learnig pretty much thing these houres :|:| ) ..
After downloading the Official ROM ( downloading now Germany - Vodafone ) i just have to open odin, charge on PDA the downloadet file (is it normal to be arrounf 900MB? ) and START ? (with auto reboot checked)
oh..and if i install Germany - TMobile (an example) on this one that should be vodafone... i have to all again ? (sorry again for bad english)

sounds right but leave auto reboot unchecked. And yes 900 isn't that big must roms are about that size give or take. hard to say though since were not familiar with the stock ROM for that device. Just make sure you check the md5 sum first so you know it's a good file. Also make sure you get your ROM from the proper source ie your models forum or equivalent don't just grab it from anywhere on the internet...

Hey, i don't want to open another thread just for a little question so i put it here D:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32235061&postcount=1
i don't understand the 13 passage..what should i do ?

Moved to I-9300/I-9305 section.
You'll get better answers over there since that is your device and all.
Good luck

Galaxy s2 Google services Framework Problem

Hi all! This is my first post on XDA developers forums. Recently i have rooted my android device (2.3.5) then i replaced a file in the system folder which can be found with root explorer. I think the file started with framework, the reason why i wanted to replace it with a new one, was because the new one was a circular battery file. But that seemed to fail and bricked my phone. After fixing the brick, with a different firmware which was also 2.3.5 . I constantly keep getting an error saying com.google.process.gapps and the button at the bottom says force close. Another problem was if i had my wifi on and i was connected to a wireless network, it would always say Google Services Framework has crashed or something. And i would have to force close it. It really gets annoying!!!! And when i open my phone i get something that says O2, it use to be Vodafone. Please help me! Many Thanks.

Reflash the rom, factory reset.
Will that fix the o2 screen and make it into vodafone
If you flash a Vodafone branded stock rom it will, yes. It says O2 because you obviously flashed an O2 stock rom. Get the PC version of Checkfus (search for it on here/Google), download the latest O2 firmware, flash following instructions here.

Do i reflash the rom first then factory reset?
Pretty sure that's what I said in my first post 8-| Flash the rom in the first instance, if the problem persists (which it probably shouldn't), do a factory reset. And stay out of system folders ;-)

[Q] No network in phone after flashing via odin

Hi, I am using a galaxy s3 recently purchased from Singapore but had a UK firmware version in it, since i bought it cheap from a local dealer who sells a of these European phones here.
I am not a noob, but not a great developer though, u can put me somewre in the middle. What happened is, i downloaded a S3 firmware and flashed it via ODIN. The silly damn mistake i did was, (seriously, i was outa my mind) i put the file in phone instead of PDA in ODIN.
But wen i flashed it once, i realised i did a mistake and changed the file from phone to PDA and everything went off perfectly. Except now, there was no service in the phone. The SIM was inside and worked perfect with other phones, but no other sim worked in my phone.
I took it to a local repair shop, coz der is no warranty for the phone. Since he is a friend of mine, he has ordered the SIM card Unit and is trying to replace it. Now, during the first day i got the phone i rammed it with a sharp pin when tryin to insert the sim, jus when i was opening it in the shop. It got remedied instantly and after tat the SIM worked fine.
Now after the did the wrong flash, everythin in the phone works except der is no mobile network. Is it because i flashed the file wrongly ? Or is it could be the hardware issue that happened earlier repeating again ?
Thanks for taking ur time to read this and supportin me !
Maybe you can try to reflash stock kernel via odin.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Thanks ! But....

THanks for ur time !
just a little thing: flashing a stock rom on the SGS3 will not perform a factory reset
Just to be sure that all is good: flash stock rom with odin and then make a factory reset in stock recovery
Do not forget to backup your apps and data before doing it
Can u guide me to ?

Easy:
-start in recovery (volume up+home+power)
-select "wipe data/factory reset"
-wait for it to be done
-resart your phone
Just do not forget:
-it will erase your installed apps
-it will erase your contact
-it will wipe your internal storage
-you will have to do the "first start settings " thing (wifi, google account,...) as if your phone was brand new out of the box
So do not forget to backup all things you want to keep

I had the same firmware version as urs... I can see it from above ! I downloaded the same version from android firmwares.net and flashed it wrongly and tatz wat messed it up all.
I actually did the same steps as u mentioned above ! Is tat wat u call a full flash ?
-flash your rom with odin (single tar file as PDA and DO NOT check repartition)
-let your phone restart
-shutdown your phone
-follow the step from my previous post
-restart your phone
-do all the "first start settings" stuff
If you still have your issue, post here but at least we will start with a clean base

You need a three part rom to do that but it is not very easy to found them for SGS3
The step I gave you should do the same thing with a single part rom as PDA

[Q] S2 hangs at logo pls help me

Hi,
My Friend brought new s2 GT-I9100 for me.
I downloaded India firmware (GT-I9100_INU_I9100XWKE8_I9100DDKE2_I9100ODDKE2.tar) into that from that time it got hanged at logo.
After that I downloaded UK vodafone firmware same problem (I9100BULPG_I9100VODLPB_VOD). Badly I Selected re-partion and given .Pit file also.(u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit)
Wipe data/factory reset also not working ...
Please help me to resolve the problem. More details given below.
Model: GT-9100
SSn:I9100GSMH
FCCID: A3LGT9100
IMEI:359372/04/737835/1
S/N: RVUBB78992H.
And please suggest me suitable firmware.
Sorry for my bad English
So basically you know nothing about rooting/android and you ticked re-partioning whilst flashing with Odin? I suggest you return the phone and get a new one and don't much around with it because the process to fix your phone now is really awkward (if it's even possible).

Try reflashing the original rom through ODIN first, probably best..
which should i download if im from lithuania?
try http://www.hotfile.com/dl/177306141/248b29e/I9300XXDLJ4_I9300OXADLJ4_BTU.zip.html
its unbranded and the latest uk one but should have your language.
thanks, hope that will work (no more rooting for me ) but will the region codes will be alright?
Yes, you can check after you've started the phone - use CSC Selector from the Play Store.
alright, well ill let u know how im doing when the download completes...
I've had the same thing happen to me too, although my phone won't switch on , it gets tot he galaxy s III white screen and then just stops on a black screen, makes a noise and thats it, just stays black with the blue charging light on.
I can connect it to the computer and it is rooted with CWM installed.
Would love to save the data if poss but i'm guessing that i may have to wipe it.
can you get into download mode?
if so, just flash the stock rom through ODIN as above.
For root and unroot, complete step by step guidance check this site by an XDA member zedomax

I found it beneficial when I root my galxy 1st time

Do you mean you can't even get into recovery? If it can, I would think a data wipe might get the ROM to be able to boot.

You might want to double check if you are using the right version of recovery that kernel is fully supported with your ROM. For example, if you are trying to install a KK ROM using an old version of CWM you will end up in error 7 or end up in a boot loop screen. My words are pretty mess up but I hope you get what I mean. So make sure you have the right version that match each other (recovery, kernel, ROM).
Hope that helps.
im new to all of this. when i hold the home button the power button and the vol down button i get a screen telling me installing a custom os could be bad press up to continue i do this and install even the official software but when it reboots it keeps looping on the samsung logo

I suggest you flash a working recovery via odin first. Look for TWRP, it's the best newbie-friendly recovery or try CWM if you are looking for more advanced options. After that, flash a stock or custom ROM to get your phone back working. Make sure they are compatible with each other. Why didn't it work when you try flashing the stock firmware via odin? Make sure the zip file is downloaded properly.
Hope that helps.

It seems like you have broken files. Make sure those firmwares are for the right model of your phone. Are you using I9100 or I9100G? Is your phone still under warranty? What do you mean by not network based? I think it's time you head on to NeatROM JB 4.1.2 Aroma and flash that to your phone. It's way better than the stock one from Samsung. If you don't know how, read the instructions from the OP.

This error is most probably because you don't have the right Rom for the right model or not compatible hence the verification error. Are you doing this in recovery mode? Make sure you follow the installation instructions properly and download the right one for your phone model. Just try cyanogenmod for starter. Installation is easy to understand.

ok so i went to cyanogenmod downloaded the newest file for the s2 when i did unzip i get 2 folder meta-inf and system plus a boot.img file. i burned the boot file to a disc but when i check it the disk is empty even though i can see its burned. also when i go to sammobile to get firmare it says no files available...therte must be some way of getting this to work H E L PPPPPPPPPPP
Dude, you're not supposed to be burning anything to discs. The zip file is what the recovery uses to install from. It should include the custom kernal too.
Copy the zipped ROM file to your SD card, put it in your phone and boot into recovery. Assuming you've already flashed the latest custom recovery CWM or TWRP (I prefer TWRP)
From here, to be safe, do a full wipe (That's everything except sd-card: system, data, cache, dalvik-cache)
Now you install/flash the zip file via recovery. Hopefully that completes without error. After that clear cache and dalvik-cache again just to be sure (I do this out of habit)
Reboot.
Hope this helps. I saw you mention something about "efs" and that gives me a bad feeling, read something about needing to back that up before bad things happen. But anyway, good luck :good:
