Hi guys
Well, last night I left my beloved mini pro by my pillow as usual when I go to sleep, it had like 34% of battery remaining, so there's no way it could have drained that much as I only leave it with wifi on and it has never happened, now when I woke up and wanted to check if I had any new message or somethin I noticed that the screen woudn't turn on, opened the keyboard, nothing, then I tried to turn it on, but again no response, not even vibration, so I plugged it to the charger and I was expecting the bootlogo to come up as always when I plug it, but instead, the led started blinking red, i tried to turn it on but nothing worked again, so I left it charging about an hour and as a last resort I plugged it in my computer, but as my luck seems flashmode/fastboot weren't working either, in fact it failed to detect it correctly, so I dont know what else to do.
Any ideas?

Try a battery from a friend, maybe your battery has a strange problem! Otherwise it must be hardware related, I guess, for example overheated, burned cpu, etc

Hmmm, that would be weird, I dont think it would overheat or burn out of the blue as it was in deep sleep :/ but I'll try to look for someone who has a mini o mini pro, I dont know anyone who has one u.u

Yeah, you're right. So I think it is a battery issue, because it blinks red if the battery is completely emtpy! Hope you will find one with a battery :good:
Thanks, I hope so too X.X

So I thought I'd calibrate my battery today... I completely drained it, powered it up like 10 times so it had no battery left. Then I took out the battery for one minute, inserted right back and plugged the phone to the wall charger. It has been charging for about 5 hours(I think more) and still the led hasn't turned green
When I touch the back of the phone it's warm so that means it's charging still... Is this normal when calibrating the battery or should I try starting it to check the battery condition and forget about calibrating? Thanks in advance.
edit: ok, I unplugged the charger cuz I have to go out... and the red led was still going... no wonder :/ So remove/reisnert battery, boot up android from nand. Battery 99% already I guess this calibration has pretty much failed right?
So no one knows anything about this? I tried to calibrate again last night... The red led again got stuck. What could be the cause of this? I reflashed radio recently so I don't think that's it.
Does anyone has any advice? I will try charging with power on, see if it will fully charge and if green led will turn on. And then again with power off without letting the battery be drained completely and see what happens. I hope nothing's wrong cuz I'd hate to have to return it
I also would like to know this.

Tried this aswell n the phone was on 99%. the voltage was also wrong when its 100% (4197, i beleive its ment to be around 42xx or 43xx). Tried deleting batterystat.bin from system but not sure i followed the right procedure after that (take bat out, charge, deplete, charge). a dedicated thread for this would be nice.
Did you try leaving the phone off and leaving it on charge until the LED changed to green. u may have to leave it over night. 15+ hours. Not sure if this works.
I tried it. The thing is the led wont turn green. When the phone is off and charging the led wont ever turn green and when I pull the cable out the red led doesn't turn off. It get stuck until I remove hte battery.
However when the phone is on and charging the led WILL turn green. I'm getting crazy over this. Can sb plz heeeeeelp?

You wont be able to do a calibration in NAND Android, which i'm guessing you are using, because i have the same problem.
The only way to properly charge the battery and get the green light is to wake up the device, plug the charger while the screen is on and leave it charging.
I got 50 hours +10% out of moderate use with one full charge - phone on, and i am happy. Same as WinMo ROM.
I haven't seen a solution for this one yet, but i hope someone is working on it.
oh, thanks so much for clearing this up. Yes I have nand android too. I'm not complaining about battery life, it's very good. I just did the battery calibration out of curiosity and bumped into this issue. Glad it's not hardware or battery related and I hope someone fixes it eventually.
last night i flashed to TMR cyanogenmod(i don't think it has anything to do with that cus it runned on my x10 before)
my battery was 1 % left. so i plugged in my charger and it did nothing. i restarted the phone plugged in again nothing happened even the charge led didn't turn on.
then i tried to charge him without starting the phone up, same thing nothing happened!
is my battery broken or another problem?
help needed pls!

Can you please switch off the phone and then try charging, just to see if the phone is being turned on automatically, which is the natural thing to do. Also check if the usb is being recognized when connected to a PC, to make sure that your cable is not broken.
Regards
E
Don't worry dude... same happened with me... ders nothing to worry about..
First of all.. remove battery for 15 mins... den put it in.. plug the power cable... DO NOT TURN ON....
The green light will glow... wait.. wait... the orange light must appear after 2 mins.. if not... just wait for it... it will go on...
I think it is caused when battery gets extremely empty... maybe... but it worked for me...

Hi,
Yesterday I was lying on my bed, when suddenly my X10 Mini Pro died . I was just installing some apps, and then it froze for about 3 minutes. Then it shutted down. At first I tried to charge it, but it didn't do anything. The screen didn't even turn on. Then I ran SEUS, didn't work, used the flashtool, didn't work, because it didn't recognize the phone when I plug in the charger while holding the back button...
When I plug my charger in my phone the LED flashes a red light though (like when your battery is low), and after a few minutes the red light stops. When I try to power him up, the red light flashes faster (like it's battery is dead). So I thinkl it's not entirely dead.
Maybe this is a battery issue or something? Maybe my charger broke? Something else?
Please help me, I'm begging you. I can't afford a new phone, I'm broke as hell
heya, from the info you've given I don't reckon it's something obvious that caused this?
gordon's gate should force your pc to recognize your phone so it'll work with SEUS.
just install it, then open it so it says usb id's have been resetted, and connect your phone holding back button.
hope that helps you solve it
No, does not work . Really big thanks anyway.
I ordered a new battery, maybe that will solve the problem. Or is it possible my charging cable is defect or something?

If when your phone crashed battery was still good, then it is your battery. If it just went off because your battery was empty then it can be your charging cable but I doubt it.
judging from the symptoms, i think battery is the most plausible cause as well.
sorry i couldn't help tho

Battery was good when he crashed... It wasn't empty also. I'll let you know if the new battery works once I have it.
Nope, does not work..
Now I'm stuck with an extra 2430 mAh battery and a dead X10 Mini Pro. Hooray. If someone thinks he can help, please reply.
Oh wow, it suddenly worked! I'm a happy person again!
So basically yesterday I forgot my charger at work, and my phone fully discharged... you know, that fully part where if you try to turn on you get the 3 blink red led notification.... So today morning I finally got to put it on charger, but a weird kind of stuff happened.... I plugged it in, it was a red LED blinking (I assume charging, but can't turn on due too low voltage) this went on for a minute, then it turned itself on (I got the Legacy Xperia 4.4 ROM). I could see the battery charging animation for a minute, then it turned itself off again, like it ran out of battery again. then the same thing happened from the beginning over and over again.. I even tried to put it in the CWM so it doesn't boot the charging animation thing, it still turned off after like 30 seconds...
Now I'm stuck with a dead battery phone, and I have no idea what to do.
I would appreciate any kind of help, because I can't really work without my phone now.
Adrian
EDIT: So now I instantly turned off the screen so it doesn't show the animation and doesn't drain the battery, it seems to charge now, will keep editing if something happens..
EDIT2: Phone LED is now orange... which means above 15%... I think it'll be fine now....

Charge the battery with a battery charger( it costs like $1 in my country ) and then flash a rom for which you are sure that it has offline charging.. and that too working

Have you contacted a Sony rep? Now I'm a little bit weary about mine since I've never let it die, but I did come pretty close to 1-2% left before full cycling it. Still the best android tablet for me to date, although it's pretty hard to find it online again for a replacement if ever needed be.

Ah, that's what it seems from Sony cables. Don't know why they go bad so easily...
