I guess you should redownload viberboy's rom and try installing it again. Since you are s-off you don't have to worry about the boot.img flasher.

Roms are always flashed through recovery. Were you trying to flash them through the bootloader?

Hey guys, so I really need some help. I woke up this morning and my phone was off. So I put in another battery and turned my phone on and it was stuck on the white htc screen. I do have the BL unlocked from htc and I was running the 605.22 stock ICS leak, which I put on my phone almost two weeks ago. I have not tried any hacks since then so I don't think that is an issue. to make matters worse I can't reinstall the rom via PH98IMG.zip on my sd card. Does anyone have any advice for me on this?
Also I can't get into recovery at all...

Thanks for you response. I have not tried that but I order another phone from verizon and it should be here today. I will say that I had not installed a rom or kernel or root or boot unlock or anything in over two weeks before this happened. I think I just got ****ed thats all. Thanks for everyone's responses.
HBoot 1.5 S-ON
Unlocked
4Ext recovery
HTC Evo 3D Sprint CDMA
Well, I had flashed Scott's latest CleanRom not expecting it to be ICS. So I booted into 4EXT, wiped data, dalvic and cache.
I then flashed the rom, then re-wiped dalvic and cache. Re-booted, everything was fine. Played around with it for a bit, didn't like it compared to my old rom(viperROM Redline v2.5 RC2)
I went back into bootloader, then did the same process as I did with flashing the CleanRom. I now get boot-loops after re-booting from flashing any rom I have tried so far. (Too many to try to list) Been trying to get it working all day.
The boot-loop is the white HTC Spash screen, then the phone turns off, then restarts itself.
Does anybody know how I can get back to using my phone again?

Need help - similar problem
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2027561
I've been running Mazda's AOKP for a while now (version 3.4 at the time of "the incident") with no problems save a few reboots here and there. So I'm not sure this is a ROM related issue, and honesty, I'd be surprised if it were. Anyway, last night I was sitting on my sofa watching some football when I decided to take a photo of one of the dogs. So I pulled up the 3D, hit the hardware camera button and the phone rebooted. Again, occasional reboots are no big deal, but this time I'm stuck in a boot loop. A rather infuriating one. I get the white HTC screen, then quickly a black screen, then a reboot right back to the HTC screen. I can't get into recovery (goes to the HTC screen then reboots immediately). I'm on HBOOT 1.5. Stock Kernel. 4EXT recovery. And I've reflashed the boot.img and a couple of different recoveries (from adb). Still the same thing. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Sam

No recovery from either the bootloader or fastboot. Trying just sends it back into a boot loop.

If you successfully flashed the RUU the stock recovery should be installed. Were you able to boot into the stock ROM after flashing the RUU? You really need to accomplish that before trying anything else.

The stock recovery should be there, but I can't get to it. I'm still boot-looping. When I choose recovery from the bootloader, I just get the HTC screen and an infinite boot loop.

Copied it over to the phone's SD card, booted into the bootloader, and let 'er rip. Last night I did extract the system.img, boot.img, and recovery.img files out and flashed them to the phone with fastboot. System.img wouldn't go, however. Oh, and I did find the commands to wipe the partitions from fastboot (./fastboot erase system), but kept getting a "remote: not allowed" on everything except the cache partition. Honestly, I think the phone is a goner. I've been looking around for a replacement. Sucks.

That still doesn't answer my question about whether you were able to boot into the stock ROM after flashing the RUU or not. If not, either the RUU flash was not successful or there is a hardware problem with your phone (or both).

That's about it. Make sure your wiping System, both caches and doing a factory reset. Unless your flashing a ROM like Viper that you can choose to let the Aroma installer do the wiping for you. Good luck!

Well...since you are Sprint you probably unlocked via HTC dev. You can flash your unlock token again which will allow you to flash a custom recovery. You can then flash the current rooted Rom and use sunshine to s off again. The hard option is flashing an older Rom to use firewater as doing so will make your phone reboot about every thirty seconds because of the firmware mismatch. I can help you get it done that way if you want...up to you. Six of one half dozen of the other. You can almost always fix a phone that still boots to hboot and is unlockable. You won't have adb in the current mode either btw....

and then try to download stock nandroid rom for you're Sprint mobile then place it in you're mobile using adb push command then restore the the rom that you have placed at the end flash the image boot from the bootloader and you're done.
