Hi guys,
I'm looking to uninstall CM-10.1 on my Galaxy S2, but I can't seem to find any info (doesn't help I don't know what I'm looking for)
I'm trying to sell my phone as I just got the S3, and the purchaser wants original.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi,
I think, you can go with flashing stock ROM on your S2 which will remove the existing ROM in the process.
You can find stock rom here.
Regards,
Hereticnine
There is nothing on there about GT-I9100...
I have heard from someone that I need to get a toolbox? I'm not really sure on what I'm doing...

A mate of mine said I have to look the boot loader or something...? And I needed some toolbox thing? I got no idea..
Try clear cache and dalvik cache but not factory only if cache dont work

Easiest way to root is to flash a rooted kernel, such as CF-Root kernel.
Here is the thread => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&highlight=CF+Root
In Post #8 you will find CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_LPG-v5.5-CWM5.zip which will work fine for your ROM.
Just download this kernel and flash it with Odin to your phone - as described in the first post.
If you want to remove the yellow triangle and reset the flash counter after flashing the CF-Root kernel, just use TriangleAway app from Chainfire (there is a link to it in the first post).
Good luck !

is it poosible to go to previous kernal after rooting?
also if you are planning to use other carrier make sure you have an unlock phone. If not, go to PLay Store and download Galaxy S2 unlock app.
You mean stock kernel? Yes, but only by flashing stock Samsung firmware.

Download a stock kernel, flash it in Odin. Not rocket surgery. You got your hand held on the first page & a half of this thread, time for you to do some reading/learning on your own; Stickies.

There IS NO nordic release of ICS for the i9100G as of now. This tells me that you are flashing an i9100 firmware to your i9100G. (which commonly results in the screen you are describing)
Flash an i9100G firmware and it'll be fixed.

Now i am trying to flash my phone through odin but when its finshed it my phone shows some erorrs in red coloures i also wipe factory and cache but its not booting up galaxy s logo shows then auto reboot again again will u please help how to instal it again thanks?
Go to the bootloader and try to install the CM10.1 again. Then see if it boots. If it does, good.. Check the forums for the correct method to install a factory image. Oh and make sure you are flashing the correct kernel too.

I need help to unbrick my phone. Here are the details of my phone and things I did before it became useless.
- Version: Updated version of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Marshmallow Android 6.0.
- replaced its recovery with TWRP via odin (3.10.6)
- install a ROM with the use of TWRP recovery.
- After rooting my phone and flashing a new rom via TWRP, I can't use my phone's physical buttons.
I also tried full-wipe installation of Custom rom and I got the same issue. I tried restoring it to a stock rom, but it always says "Fail".
Do you guys have any suggestions how can I fix my phone?
Which rom did you flash?
What point in odin does it fail?
I take it you have G925F? Not G8.
Whats your region and what firmware did you try to flash (stock)

Thank you for your reply. Here are my answers:
-I flashed "CarHDRom" to my phone using TWRP 3.0.
- Yes, 825F is just a typo, G925F is the correct model name. I double checked it in the box.
- Philippines, and I already downloaded the firmware that you suggested in another post about softbricked g925F (G925FXXU3DPAD_G925FOXA3DPAD_XEU).

Make sure you have origional cable and debug mode is on in dev options.
If this fails look for the firmware in the picture. Download and flash that.

I suggest TWRP. Make a full Nandroid back up before just incase. But if anything goes wrong you can just flash that stock back to fix.
I would root first with cf autoroot.
Then flash your ROM.
Do a full wife when rom installer asks as this is safest way.
If it bootloops just wait.
Glad i can help
Well it looks like CarHDRom is not compatible with my phone. Tried flashing it twice and I waited for 30mins of booting but it doesn't continue.
