Hey guys!
From the past week or so ive had this problem with my mini pros touchscreen... It works very well all the time but sometimes when I unlock the fone it takes a 1 second or 2 more than usual to light up and then the screen dosent respond to touch AT ALL this also happens sometimes when I recv a call but cant answer coz the touchscreen dosent respond. This happens like twice in 10 times but m afraid I might damage my phone if I dont do anything about it.
Im pretty sure its a software issue cz when it works it works really welll.. I also found out that I could unlock by simply sliding the hw keyboard open and most of the tim I got the touch back after that... Also once when I was using the hw keyboard the touch stopped responding ..so I closed the keyboard n everything was backk to normal. Most of the time this problem happens when im unlocking the phone :banghead:
Plz tell me what to do!!
Thanks

Hmmmm...it's not a hardware (digitizer) problem but more to your Custom Roms....sometimes touch screen do lag (stop responding) on certain Custom Roms....it's not a big problem cause if you reboot the phone, the problem is fixed (temporarily)....to fix the lag, it required editing the build.prop (adding a few tweaks) but this will not fully fix it....
Yes I totally agreed what Pusak Gaoq said. The problem come when installing some custom rom. The wrong touchscreen driver will mess up your phone. Your phone will load up the driver even wrong touchscreen driver is use. This problem was also happened on some user before. Try nandroid backup and flash stock .ftf firmware.
Thay why I never use any custom rom except CM based rom.

Hmmm...did you ever drop you phone before this???
!!!
All working now
I followed the method from lunatic2nuts.
Here's what I did:
wipe data/cache/system
flash .62 firmware [ST15i_link]
flash custom kernel with recovery
flash hybromV10 without wiping anything (that's what I did)
boot into hybrom, then turn it off, i.e. take the battery out
flash .62 again
I was major surprised that it actually worked since I've tried it already but with factory reset when flashing hybrom.

i just unlocked the phone but during the process of flashing the 2.1 firmware the cable popped out if.
after that i got the firmware in, unlocked the phone.
after that if i insert a simcard it will enter in a bootloop, even if the phone detect the signal and makes a call, after a few mins it will crash and bootloop
any idea of what its happening?
I used to think Asa was a rare name and suddenly there are 3 ppl on this forum with that name myself included lmao
Something most likely got messed up when the cord fell of, have you tried recovery through SEUS? If that doesn't work use flash tool to flash the appropriate firmware.

Oh ok, from an anime i suppose?
Well the custom firmware still uses some elements of the stock. So if the custom doesn't overwrite an area that was messed up with it's own configurations you'd still be gimped. So reflashing stock or repair should fix it up for you.
did you have a xrecovery backup?

no everytime i reflash the stock firmware it kills the xrecovery.
anyways now it "works" stlll having problems with the calls, i made a call and it rebooted and to get the phone working i had to remove the sim card.
and after the first call with the other simcard which im using to test the phone, it doesnt get signal anymore...
atleast it "works" but since the phone its for my gf... i want it atleast stable on reboots hehehe
Did u wipe all data with flashtool when u flashed the stock rom?

No you can't claim your warranty... First of all check the hardware... For eg.. Dust or etc.. If still not works then try factory reset... If still not.. Then try flashing stock firmware... after all this of the problem persists then try this. And take it service center...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30731936

It's because u'r phone got many multitasks. Just close some unused apps. Or reboot the phone.

touch lag
I rooted my LWW and installed CM 9.1 for a few days and then AOKP KangXperiaProject..
Did clean wipe everytime before installing..
Even installed V6 Supercharger scripts both times.. (100% supercharged)
There's no option to disable compcache (which may have caused the problem), neither any file in /etc/init.d to do it manually.
The problem I'm facing, is Touch Lag. I need to touch 2-3 times to get my touch registered on the screen, which is very annoying. This happens roughly after 1.5 months of a new ROM.
Rest the phone is running fine and fast.(no RAM lag etc.)
any suggestion/solution??
try using the nAa 3.4 kernel it will ease the matter even um using LWW
and i did too have the same problem
its too hard to reply a message or type anything always u have to touch 2 or 3 times but i tried 3.4 kernel it works so perfectly
but when it comes to camera you will get a green line in every picture you take
but if you are a messenger everyday you will love nAa 3.4
HELP :'(
thanks but it does not properly solve the problem.. lag still persists..
moreover, I can't roll back to the most stable cm 9.1 on nAa.. only for jellybean..

I have same problem with you and it,s already 100% fixed, even you flash with flashtool the problem still same,,and you have unlock btldr it's be easy,,
First you have to make your touchscreen malfunction by flash wrong device type, before that go back with stock gb and flash custom kernel and do factory reset and wipe all cache, sistem and dalvik, then flash custrom but chose wrong device on aroma, i chose st15 on my wt19i, flashing done and reboot and see your sreen gong crazy and malfunction, remove battery and flash again with flashtool stock gb and reboot,,, it has been done now for me cheers

Help me with this method

Hi,
As of yesterday, just out of nowhere, my Xpiria mini started randomly rebooting itself in a loop...at first it happened once every few hours and then the phone went back to normal, but now it just happens non-stop, and i can't use the phone at all!
some background:
my phone was rooted and the bootloader unlocked, as a result of solving an overheating issue a few months ago..
so, at first i thought that maybe upgrading the software will solve the rebooting problem, but i couldn't install the upgrade version...i guess because i already messed with the phone in the past it won't let me upgrade it in a "normal" way (tried via pc-companion and via the phone itself).
anyway, i guess i have 2 questions...1. how do i solve the rebooting problem? 2. how do i upgrade the software?
(i don't know much about phones etc, so if you could give me a detailed step-by-step explanation it would be great, and would save many of my stupid questions
please help, my phone is completely useless at the moment...
Use flashtool and flash stock gingerbread or ics firmware. Take a look at the stickies for the firmware and guide about how to do it.

Did everything the guides said, upgraded to ICS which works great, with one "little" problem- the phone only works when connected to charger/pc...
the moment i disconnect it (even when fully charged) the screen goes black and nothing works...it vibrates once when pressing the power button, like it's turning on, but nothing happens...
Hello, Mr. After unlocking ur BT loader, u cant use pc companion for upgrading and degrading, it wont work properly, so use flashtool and every ting wil be fine

Wiping dalvik cache won't help, it does nothing, because dalvik cache will be rebuilt on every reboot anyway :good:
So is there any chance solving this or the phone is dead?? :crying:

So you are on ics right now, but it won't boot? Is there any vibration or nothing? Can you flash a custom kernel and enter cwm? Can you charge it?

RIght now it's on ICS..it works fine, but ONLY when connected to a charger/usb..the moment i disconnect the cable it shuts off and won't boot at all, no vibration or anything...the moment i put the cable back in it starts normally and works well...
Just flash it with flashtool. Ics generic can be used for flash.

already did that...still won't boot unless connected to charger.
Are you really sure the battery is okay? Maybe this is the reason? Because if it's bricked up (it=the battery) you can only boot when the usb cable is inserted and you won't get any other reactions...
Maybe you can try another one from a friend and report?

Let me guess! improper shutdown where the screen just frizzled out?
Had this problem on a stock based custom ROM(ICS) then i downgraded to GB Bluetooth is all right now! Reflashing the ROM may not work as the problem returned after one week!
Hoping kernels did not do the job for me! Downgrade was my only option.
