Just flashed this to beans v2 and it looks incredible.
One question however, when you flash beans ROM with the aroma installer you can pick to have a center clock.
The theme reverts the clock back to the right. If there any way to flash the theme but keep whatever settings where already done in the ROM install??
Since I was on beans v2 anyway, I tried dirty flashing v3 over the top of it but just as I figured that put everything back to blue again.
At that point, I restored a nandroid I made of v2 and the red theme (I prefer v2 to v3) and it looks really killer.
Just found another odd bug I guess.
I love the pop-up browser and use it all the time. I have a home screen shortcut to it because when you open it that way you can write on it anywhere with the s-pen and it will automatically convert it to text for something like a google search.
Now, when I click the shortcut it tells me that app is not installed??
The pop-up browser does still work just fine when I click on an email link, it just refuses to open from the home sceen shortcut.
Just downloaded this and before I install I have a couple of questions. First I am on beans 3 and do not see multiwindow control. Does it come with beans rom or installed after the fact? And second, say I don't want red anymore, how do I go back? Reflash beans3 again? Thanks for all the hard work.
looks great! :good: by any chance could you make a white one?

I'm not very familiar with aroma, so I'm not sure if that is possible. I can edit the theme so it is centered though. The popup brower is my bad, I just used the one from stock deodex, which is probably why its not launching from the homescreen. Ill have that fixed in a few hours.

installed after the fact. If you want to go back yes you will need to reinstall or restore a backup. I suggest backing up before flashing anyway in case something goes wrong.

With the clock centered and the pop-up browser fixed, this would be absolutely perfect.
I will definitely send a donation your way as soon as I get straightened away from the whole Christmas thing
Thanks again for all your hard work, I really really appreciate it.
when you say uninstall multiwindow control, do you mean just uninstall the app or reverse the framework mod from the flashable zip. Because uninstalling the app is easy. The rest... not so much.
This looks really sweet by the way.
Thanks for your hard work, it looks really nice:good:

If you have have the standalone app multiwindow control installed just uninstall it. No need to reverse the whole mod.

I absolutely love the theme, but two things. The clock being centered kinda declutters the status bar for me but I know this has already been addressed. Plus the battery thing... I don't like seeing my percentage, kinda makes me feel like the battery is draining. But thanks for all the hard work you put into this.

ATM I am going to stop updating this theme unless any other bugs appear or if fission is updated. I probably won't be coming out with other color updates because I don't have the free time to just work on theming, sorry. I will try and keep this theme updated so it works with all versions of fission though.
Update #2: Removed the gingerbread battery icon version because they had a weird background and I don't think that they are going to work and they don't fit the theme even when they are pink. I also updated the main theme to 2.6.1.
Update #3: Just added the new status bar color version. I am keeping the old one up also because in my opinion it looks better but some people are going to like the new one more.
Update #4: fixed menu color issues and changed the bootanimation ENJOY!. More updates to come tomorrow.
Update #5 *hitting head against wall with all of these updates* There shouldnt be any more bugs and I changed all of the app icons to the elegant steel style. I will continue to update this theme with vibrancy soon and I may change a bit more of the style.
Update #6 something went crazy and the last update so now it's all good
All bugs fixed and new BOOTANIMATION!
Thanks,
ljbaumer

I am proud to present my annual valentines day theme Pink Steel!
**Based off of Elegant Steel ported by me
Quick note: I have tested this theme and I have not noticed any bugs but if you find any please send me a PM of post the bugs on the thread
Standard Disclaimer: I DO NOT take any responsibility for anything that happens to you or your phone before or after you flash this theme. By rooting your phone you probably have already voided your warranty so you are on your own. If you have any problems I will try and help you but I cannot promise anything.
Install Instructions:
1) Boot into recovery
2)Make sure your system is mounted under mounts and storage
3)Install the .zip from your SDcard
4)Reboot your phone

I forgot where I got the bootanimation from but thanks to that developer.
If I left anyone out just pm me please.
Features:
I have included a few very unique features in this theme.
The first one of those features is the launcher2.apk
Launcher2 (stock launcher) is a custom version of the gingerbread launcher. It has 4 items in the dock at the bottom and an app launcher.
The app launcher in launcher2.apk is 3d by default! That means no launcherpro for your 3d app drawer
Also when you open the menu on the main homescreen you get 6 options instead of the stock 5. The added 6th option is a manage apps button (as shown in gingerbread) which takes you straight to the manager apps section in setting where you can stop running apps (like a task manager), uninstall apps or clear the data off of apps.
There are also some other features but I am pretty tired right now and I cannot remember any of them lol.

I really hate to say this and I am so sorry for saying it but the top bar doesn't really match the rest of the theme(looks a bit purple), plus I am having an issue with battery icon not being fully accurate(you think you can make it look like the Gingerbread battery but in pink that always worked more accurately for me). Now the highlighted pink color shown off is more of what I was looking for. But thank you for the hard work.
Maybe we should find a woman to be called the official D2 girl and use her as like a background option. lol
Ok... why don't you make the theme then? Or tell me how to make it? Jesus christ you guys are appreciative. (Sarcasm)

No, rush will be enjoying this one in the mean time. And if you can get the battery meter more accurate that would be a bonus as it seems to be a bit off for me(maybe a gingerbread style battery meter would be more accurate?). Or you can do the suggested changes for 2.6.1.
Anyway I can keep the icons stock color(or the ones I want), while using the rest of this theme the way it is?
Please add some more detail it is kind of hard for me to accomplish anything when you only right a sentance about what you want.

Ah, well my bad. Well I currently have this theme installed, but I wanted to know if there is a way to go back to the stock icon colors. Like would I have to change something in what section or something?
You would have to go into system/app and open each archive without unzipping it and edit the png for the icon.

Yes you would extraxt the original apks from fission and move their icons into each new apk which is supposed to be in an un-extracted archive.

This theme does not include a clock in the notification bar, if you like your clock delete services.jar from /system/framework prior to flash.
Font featured is called Droidlogo and can be downloaded from an app called "Custom Android Font Switcher"
For best experience flash over your stock rom. If you wish to have the Themed version of launcher pro download the below attachment. First uninstall launcher pro from your phone then install the below file like you would any other .apk (click on it from with in your favorite file browser)
Looks great. I just saw on one of your screenshots there is white text on white.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I have noticed that as well, we will be fixing that in v2 as currently we are only able to get either white or black text everywhere, which messes up the menus. The menus as of right now are more important than the notification bar messages. (thus far this is the only noticeable issue with in the entire theme)
Works on Bionix 1.2.1. Can you link the wallpaper?
White market didn't install on bionix but other than that its looks amazing.
Looks great, probably just needs the newer Market.. I bet it's just updating. Great job, will test soon. It will be nice to see cyanogen's notification bar again, I miss the rounded look.
Why do I have to remove launcher pro? Its my favorite one. Looks really good! !
Powered by Axura with a dash of Voodoo

Thats because this theme is for Axura, you can likely get it to work by redoing the file structure or pulling the vending.apk from the zip and pushing to appropriate directory for bionix.

There's a newer version than 2.3.2 ?? I really need to read more. The only issue that i am currently aware of with the notification bar at this point is the white text upon notification. Hopefully this satisfies your desire for a more mature themes .

Because I HATE LPP , honestly i havent figured out why the flash doesnt work 100% of the time for LPP (those nasty vanilla folders clash horribly with the aesthetic).
If you all have any constructive suggestions for me please feel free, this is v1 I do plan on releasing updates with added goodies as my theming and coding knowledge base expands.
I didnt understand the need to remove LauncherPro either... Seems like Launcher2 is the way you want to go for the look/theme, but I cant see why a user could not opt for LP....
I included a themed version of Launcher Pro but for some reason when flashing it doesn't like the fact that lp is still there and doesnt over ride it. I can get the LP apk to install on its own as a standalone but not while flashing over the old lp. I'll update the op to be more clear

And the text message preview text is also white and on my phone there is small black specs in my upper right hand of the pulldown bar. Almost looks like its the first number of my clock cut off. The specks are there intentionally, I wanted to give the notification bar a rounded appearance. I do know that the notification bar text is white, I havent had a chance to look into it yet, but from what i can tell its tied to the menu text color, which if we make that black is completely illegible, i may experiment with using a light grey text which would fix the issue, but at the time menu color was more important that the notification text color. Now as to the clock, are you flashing from stock axura or another theme? and what kind of clock did you want in your notification bar, standard the notification bar clock is removed.

LOL yea thats probably the cause then, if you could get a services.jar modified for no clock for trigger then copy and paste it to the system/framework directory it should fix that issue for you, i would attempt my hand at it but seeing as how i run axura i wouldn't feel comfortable posting something i havent personally tested. You could also try copying the services jar from stock Trigger into the same directory, that should work as well.

I might just flash axura to experience the full theme cuz my keyboard never changed nor did the market. Transfuzion for Saurom
This theme is a (partial) port of my transfuzion theme. It is a wip, so I will be adding more to it over time.
This theme has only been tested on DAGr8's Saurom RC4, and RC5 for the glalaxy note
That being said, if you try it on anything else, you do so at your own risk. Saurom - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522942
Theme features - themed pulldown, toggles, and statusbar (including 3 different pulldown options). ics animations. themed statusbar notifications. ics themed dialer and messaging app. themed contacts. some themed icons. themed google search bar widget. themed settings. themed power settings widget. frequent updates!
Hope you guys enjoy, suggestions are welcome!
3/29 -added battery mod
3/28 -upadated dialer (resized dialer pngs to make more crisp. shows correct dialer in landscape mode now. changed dialer tab icons) Flash dialer via cwm.
UPDATE 3/27Changelog - fixed the issue of no buttons showing up. fixed more (but not all) of the low dpi issues.
Themed the statusbar clock and some of the system font, themed volume bars, few framework changes. possibly fixed the issue of pulldown backgrounds changing on low dpi settings. Not all packages have been updated yet, see downloads to see which ones have.

I think like 19 to choose from in jkay.. but the pulldown just shows your 1st 5 choices. Without jkay its the standard wifi, bluetooth, gps, silent mode, and auto rotate.. which is pretty much all i use anyways. Im working on themeing all of the toggles tho.

Looks great. Are you going to add the little blue Droid like in Notifications?
This is very cool and I would sure like to try it.
Before I delve into it, though, I would like to ask a couple of questions first.
1. Is there a way to get back to the original theme if I want to do it later, without losing all of additional changes made to the phone after the theme is applied?
2. Does this work with the Go Launcher as well?
Thanks.

This theme is a (partial) port of my transfuzion theme on for the infuse. It is a wip,so I will be adding more to it over time.
This theme has only been tested on DAGr8's Saurom RC4 for the glalaxy note
That being said, if you try it on anything else, you do so at your own risk.
Whats themed? - The status bar icons, some of the framework and ui menus, the pulldown menu and the standard 5 toggles (wifi, bluetooth, gps, auto rotate, silent and vibrate mode. If you use any of the extended toggles then it will be mis-matched. However I will eventually fix this.
Things to be added - rest of the framework themed, themed dialer and contacts, themed settings, resize some pngs to better fit our massive screen size,.. much more
Hope you guys enjoy, suggestions are welcome!

Yes you can change back to the original unthemed by flashing this http://www.mediafire.com/?tn79o91m553czzi
This is a revert. I will add it to the op =)
As far as go launcher goes.. it will work just the same with it as any other launcher.. it doesnt change anything. Hope this helps!
Hey ee23hd2, so I just flashed your theme, it's really cool but not everything change for me like you have in the picture.
When I go to setting/about phone, it still looks like stock, nothing compared to your third image you posted in post 1.
I'm running Saurom RC4
Can you help me?

Update is up! As far as the font goes download it here http://www.mediafire.com/?g7fjofmg20l8gbx
Its not an apk, so you will have to unzip it and use it with font changer off the market. Download font changer and put the ttf file in the default folder.. i think it will be .fontchanger/fonts if im not mistaken. Or.. you could rename the font to droid-sans.ttf and push it to system/apps via root explorer or other file manager. Just make sure you back up the original droid-sans. Hope this helps =)
CBB77 Blue Medley v1
Using VillianTheme (VRTheme) System
Works on all versions of SHOStock 3
Been a while in the making, but I have finally pulled together a theme I am happy with. It's a blend of a few different themes on XDA with a few mods of my own. (Thus the name "Medley") Below are the items themed:
ClockPackage
JobManager
MusicPlayer
SecContacts
SecEmail
SecPhone
SecSettings
SecMms
SystemUI
Framework-res
SamsungCamera (Icon change only)
SecLauncher2 (Icon change only)
Additionally I have included my favorite original S2 bootup animation with sound. However kudos to Shoman on the latest bootanimation on version 2.5.5. Thus I have included 2 versions of this theme, one with the boot animation included and one without.
Enjoy!

I tried the theme, and it looked awesome. I had some problems with reading the text in the battery indicator. My live wallpaper was Force Closing, and I don't know what might be wrong with it. Other than these, it was really beautiful. I like the boot animation so much.
I just have one quick question. Is it possible to have the boot animation separately?

The problem with the battery text is due to having the "Display Battery percentage" option set in the display settings page. Turn that off. The issue is the battery icons I used already have the percentage indicator as part of it. Thus this option is actually overlaying the percentage on top of what is already there making it difficult to read, since it's not a perfect overlay. Turn it off an you'll be able to clearly read it.
Here is the link to the boot animation i used. I've also include the link to the boot sound file.

Absolutely. You simply need to extract my zip and remove any of the apks that you don't want. Then re-zip the file. Just make sure when you re-zip you use no compression. Use 7-zip and use the store option when re-zipping the file.

Only blue that will be left after flashing the colors is the blue header text and underline. And the blue buttons which you'll mostly see in the power menu. I left them blues just so they would match the header text in the power menu. I won't be updating the blue text because to change that color I would have to go in to the values folder and have to update every single color version I have, and as you can tell, there's quite a bit of them. Which there isn't enough hours in the day for me to do that, so the color add-ons are just that.. Add-ons that will only work correctly with my theme and not need updating unless I have something to add.
Hope you enjoy!

Any chance to have this on N7100? This is an amazing AOSP theme and I'd love to use it on a N7100 Sammy rom.
Tried it though on 2 roms already and SystemUI crashes on both; the status bar dissappears also.

This version of the theme is good to go with 4.9. Nothing in the theme will interfere with what was updated in the rom. As for the lockscreen wallpaper, I've never had or heard from any user having that issue with any version of the theme. Do you have any type of lockscreen app installed?

Sorry, but it seems that the rom you're running isn't compatible with some of the xmls in the theme.
You can try to re flash your rom and then delete the resources.arsc from the framework-res.apk folder in the theme zip before re flashing the theme, but you will lose parts of the theme. And to be honest, you will probably still run into other issues because of the different bases of the rom and the theme.

Hey forever, yeah I actually do have an alternate lockscreen, but that's because I saw that my lockscreen wallpapers were briefly flashing on the screen as I transitioned between apps. I don't use the TW launcher at all, so I would immediately install a new launcher, Next, but I haven't felt any bugs with it ever since I first installed it on WanamLite ROM.
This is my current setup:
[PLAY] Next Launcher 3D
[PLAY] Go Locker (set as default)
[SYSTEM] CleanROM 4.8.0
[SYSTEM] Stock Kernel from ROM
I also have an app locker if that would interfere
[PLAY] Smart App Locker
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks a lot ..and if there isn't anything you could think of from my setup above, I'm going to do a full wipe to 4.9.0 hopefully after making sure there aren't any bugs.
Sorry another question, I do have some mods installed, all for 4.8 compatible, the Camera Mod and the Call Record Mod, but I want CRT, do you know if the CRT mod in XDA works with this mod and the ROM itself?
EDIT: I see you updated the post title, wonderful, I have no doubts regarding the upgrade
Thanks,
Nick
Updated for 4.9
Thought everything was good to go for 4.9, but I had to update the classes.dex in the systemui due to the removal of the full battery notification.

Try not using any of the lock screen apps (go locker and smart app locker) and see f you still have the issue with the wallpaper. I only use the stock swipe lock screen and never had any issue with the wallpaper flashing
