Porting frameworks eg. from xperia ray to live with walkman is very simply.
But if it's framework from galaxy s2 it willn't be so simple like porting from xperia to xperia because samsung has different framework than our xperias.

if you want to port it from touchwiz it's kinda hard to do it because of the framework files. If you want to port it from GS2 cm9 or cm10, maybe I can try to do it for you.

There's already a tread with working Xperia S apps. I'm pretty sure, if camera worked too, it would've been there.
When it comes to camera, things aren't so simple, it requires a lot of libs and framework tweaks afaik.

I could port this to both stock and CM9, but it may take a while because I dont have Ubuntu on my PC at the moment.
So could you port this to stock ICS?

actually... there's a lockscreen replacement app here already
That BB lockscreen is very cool... I think to make it work on stock you just need to delete the UxpNXTlockscreen.apk and then mod the system files accordingly to the original thread... if everything goes well you'll get the lockscreen.. if not, you'll probably get a bootloop or some tons of FC's when booting...
But it's worth a try
Guys, i just saw a review of the new stamina mode in JB on Xperia Z. It has some very interesting features and many ways to be configured to save battery life. Not like the one in ICS where you cant change anything.
I was wondering - is there any chance this to be ported to ICS for our NovaThor devices? It will be very very nice.

Actually, Stamina mode presented in Xperia P JB leaved rom. So you can take apk from there or wait for JB

Yup, i suppose its pesent in the leaked ROM in P section, or the test build here in this section. If its not we muct search in Z section.

Kernel from Sony has support for Super Stamina Mode (https://github.com/CyanogenMod/sony-kernel-u8500/blob/ics/arch/arm/mach-ux500/sony_ssm.c) but it's not compiled. If you want i can upload kernel for ics with Super Stamina support

Hahaha, this is very strange. That means that if someone here make it work for us - is a better developer.
Can someone compile the kernel with the support for stamina mode? If so then I could easily port it! We only have to add the stamina mode service in the ramdisk! That would however require unlocking the bootloader! But we could use an unused service so that unlocking isn't needed! Need more help from someone who knows better on compiling kernels

Stock Apps Have Dependencies In Framework.You Will Have To Port The Framework First.But Most Of The Apps(Album,Walkman,Launcher,etc) Are Already Ported.
