Hi guys,
Is it possible to force install apk on non rooted device? My problem is this : I had my Sony tablet S rooted and using lucky patcher I removed ads from some app. This created odex file. Lately I've installed the new official update, knowing that I will loose root (which I did not really need anyway). Now, there is no root for this new version yet and due to the odex file for the app created on /data I cannot install this app via market/adb. I know with factory reset it will resolved by I cannot backup my apps now (remember, no root)
I don't think it's possible without root. Sorry mate

why uninstall the market fully?
if market starts to malfunction just go to settings--->applications to delete the market updates (that'll bring you to the oldest version of market installed in your rom)
It doesn't even show the uninstall option and its a custom market i think its named BlackMarketApp.

So I updated my device from ICS 4.0.4 to JB from the last unbranded update but after the update I lost CWM Recovery and Superuser Application but not the root cause I can still open apps like Titanium Backup and Root Explorer...the thing is that I want to try a new ROM but since I'm now in JB dont know if I can install the recovery from ICS of the S3 Toolkit V4 that I have or if I need to root it again or what to do in order to flash ROMs again
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27597756
Go here and flash CWM touch with mobile odin and start flashing

I tried but when I open its says it can't obtain superuser permissions...I already installed it but it still says I can't use it but my question is why I can use root explorer if I'm supposed to not have root

And now I tried to install more ROOT Applications and all says I have no root maybe it's a bug with Root Explorer

I have been installing and un-installing seven bean pro from yesterday on my x10minipro. Super user is installed with the ROM but titanium backup says that root access is still now allowed. I just tried the lastest upload but still facing the same issue. Has anyone tried this ROM over here? The new upload doesnt work either
I tried to root the device using superonclick, swtweaker and Flashtool but no luck
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

What is installed? Super Su or Superuser? You need Superuser.

I installed Superuser too but no luck... tried to test using rootperms via flash tool but root access is being denied.... :crying:
yes no super user or super su access allowed..also the HW keyboard blue keys have problem. You cannot use those characters in uppercase.
Hi, guys !
Yesterday I updated my razr Hd to jelly bean by OTA. Everything gone fine, but this morning, when I tried to use SMS, I saw that the stock app were gone!
I tried to reinstall it by the native apk (my phone is rooted) but it doesn't install saying that it was not possible.
Then I installed the Go SMS Pro app to see what would hapen: it worked like a charm! All my old SMS were there and was fully operating.
I tried once more to install the stock apk, but had the same error...
Anyone knows what may be happening? What can I do?
This go SMS pro is very heavy, I don't like and want my stock app back!

if your phone is rooted, try placing the native apk in system/app

Have you made a backup before flashing?

Try flashing Cm10.1 MMS apk
Try flashing the Cm10.1 MMS Apk. Just search it in the forums. Download the zip. Reboot into recovery. And install zip from sd. Its very similar to the stock messaging but with a couple extra features. If that doesn't work and you really, really need to have your stock MMS back, do a titanium backup of all apps and data then factory reset. Or just flash a custom ROM.
I'm trying to use Watchever (I think its the German equivalent to Netflix). The problem is that it won't work on rooted devices and I tried all the hide root apps with no success... How does this app know that I'm rooted? I did tempunroot and even a complete unroot and it STILL says I'm rooted! Any ideas?

maybe you still have a super user app installed...
that app could have scanned your packages list and checked if u had a superuser app installed...
