is the 1900 mhz band lit up in your area,
I don't know how I check my area 1700 or 1900mhz

Yea I have the same problem in Toledo Ohio. I know there is 4G service here but the DNA doesn't support the 1700mhz band The t mobile offers.
This suck freaking slow data I'm gonna return DNA get note 2

With the svdo you can talk and use 3G at the same time. I have my GSIII and tested it.
Yes you can talk and surf on 3g. Received my sprint gs3 yesterday here in NYC and that was one of the first things I tried out.
it works on 3g network in Chicago area.

It could be done on any gsm phone but on CDMA it has to be SVDO for it to work newer phone and tower upgrades

I read that when your on lte and not hspa plus it should say Lte not four g on your notifications bar

Ok the trouble I'm having is slow data, and don't know if its the phone or the service. I do a speedtest, and I'm pulling down a dismal 241kbps! Meanwhile I watch the guy on android central do the same test on at&t and he get 7mb down no problem.
I don't get this since the lumia 920 I had was blazing! Can anybody tell me what's going on? Thanks in advance

It's the same semi-shady stuff they did having phones show 3g whether it was on 3g or 1x.
