Hi there,
I have 10.1 3G and I am looking for custom ROM with working 3G so I will be able to use my SIM card to keep connected.
I found only this one ROM, but I do not like it.
I prefer 4.0.x or 4.1.x rather
Thanks
You can check out Jellybean ROM ICS by Toldo. It's the best stock based ICS ROM or if you want Jellybean then you can download the latest nightlies directly from the Cyanogenmod website.
But I would like to warn you that it's best to stay in ICS as of now because the Jellybean ROMs of Cyanogenmod have some minor bugs such as wallpaper misalignment.
Click the thanks button if this was helpful

Hello guys, I am looking for a rom for my new S3. Since I am coming from Nexus S, I really enjoy the stock JB look. My question is, is there any rom that looks stock as JB, but is also preferably not AOSP/AOKP, CM based? Thanks in advance

There are several, the most stock like are JB AOSP and SuperNexus, Cyanogen Mod 10 and Ressurection Remix and Paranoid android 4.1.2 are more advanced options with overclocking, modding the notofication tray and more.

I was exactly in your situation (coming from Nexus S) and I ended up using SuperNexus.
But you have to take into account that SuperNexus (as many other AOSP roms derived from CyanogenMod, which try to leverage the SGS3 hardware) will not give you some Samsung proprietary functionalities (e.g. radio, Samsung camera app, etc.).
I also tried CodecROM, which comes from the opposite direction (a Samsung rom with an AOSP look), but I found it already too customised (even selecting the minimum customisation in the Aroma installation) and strongly themed.
I'm still looking for a perfect combination, i.e. a Samsung-based stock rom with a minimal AOSP (Nexus) look.
Anyone with a good recommendation?
I am using sotmax stock jellybean v8, has stock looks with many modifications, very stable, I use siyah kernel
If you're just caring about looks, get a launcher on top of any rom with stock jb theme.

Hey Everyone,
I have been using stock 4.1 samsung Rom since over a month now, pretty much satisfied with its performance. I have tried CM 10.1, PA 3 but camera considerably sucks. And den I again go back to stock Rom after using it for a week or so! and yes i haven't tried Cm since a month now. So people, can you tell me any change is Camera and overall stability of Cm 10.1 in latest build and the Best available 4.2 Rom? Best in overall experience?
Thanks

Hello, i'm looking for a kernel with is compatible with Jellybean 4.2.1 and higher.
I always used siyah in combination with android revolution hd, but because siyah don't work with 4.2.1 i'm looking for other kernels to compare and choose the right one.
I found the following rom's:

Who can help me to find kernels who are compatible with android jelly bean 4.2.1??????
There are none!
Samsung haven't released the kernel source code so no one can make a kernel. Samsung release the code a while after releasing the rom, which unless I've missed something - they haven't released yet either
Edit... you're not taking about Google Android 4.2.1 btw. You're talking about Samsung builds based on android 4.2.1 which is a completely different thing.

i have a rooted device currently i am running android revolution hd on 4.3 . i kno there is no official kitkat for s4 but can anyone link me a stable custom rom running 4.4 with no bugs.
every custom rom has bugs at the moment, camera, bluetooth, video, etc. , you should try omnirom, archidroid, or cm11 for yourself and see what bugs collection bothers you the less
btw, reading the comment, the latest Archidroid seems promising ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755841 - The clean port is my recommendation.

After trying number of Roms, I am sticking to SlimRom. Its clean, fast, reliable and stable.
Back to n00t + SuperSU // if you like touchwiz
SlimKat 8.20 (weekly) // if you like pure android experience -- aka aosp
