Sprint EVO 4G LTE, trying to swap to CM10 from FreshRom, which worked great.
Flashed with TWRP, loaded boot.img through the mini sdk, and installed gapps with TWRP. Wiped cache, dalvik, everything.
Problem is, I'm getting a persistent error message of "the process com.android.phone has stopped." and as soon as I hit ok, it will pop right back up. Tried enabling airplane mode, as the only place the error doesn't pop up is on the lock screen. As soon as I unlock it, it becomes completely unusable due to rapid fire popups. What options do I have here? I really wanna give CM10 another try. Did I forget something?

I have been trying to add a rom to my lg optimus-t for pretty much the whole afternoon. I rooted it fine but when I tried to install AmunRa to make a recovery but that failed that was ok though since the ROM I ended up choosing asked for a different recovery system. The ROM I chose to use ciaox's openoptimus build
So I installed ROM Manager and did a recovery with clockwork mod, everything seemed fine until I loaded the clockworkMod and got E: bad boot message "recovery" I decided to continue anyways and followed the steps and when I finished part one it actually booted up, but I was unable to see any icons. All I was able to see was the lock screen and the network manager bar at the top.
There is a second part so I thought maybe if I went through all of the steps it would fix itself. It was all going great until I got to phase 2 #16 because it just wouldn't do it and the error message I got was "you cannot program the qcsbl header without the partition". in my infinite wisdom (dun dun dun) I decided to re-install everything, went to the recovery file and nothing happened, said it didn't exist. I had the rom so I decided to wipe the phone again and re-install it, now it doesn't even load and I realized I should have stopped to re-install somethings in the beginning.
Thankfully the clockworkMod recovery still boots and I have all functionality there(Well except for the recovery), so is there anyway for me to get 2.2 and install that into my phone to start all over again? A quick answer would be awesome, sorry for the novel, TIA.
Edit: got the rom up and running again, but I am back at the :"The Application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" stage where I get the full unlock screen and the top bar that work, the emergency dialer still works as well. I tried doing phase2 again and following the instructions, but the phone goes into emergency mode and shuts off. At this point I'm thinking of trying another more simple ROM where I dont have to change the basebands, does that sound like a good idea?
Hey guys. I have a HTC one X that was running the Viper Jelly Bean rom for almost a year without any problems. Recently the google play services updated and everything went downhill from there.
After the update i got a message saying that google services has stoped working, I was unable to touch anything on the screen or use the volume buttons(i think the phone froze). I was able to reboot the phone, but the phone went to a boot loop. After about an hour of rebooting the phone it booted to the menu of configuring the phone for the first time. as if I did a factory reset(but I didnt). This happened again and again. So I decided to flash a different rom.
I flashed MaximusHD but as soon as the phone boot after I flashed it it tries to update google+ google play..... and then even htc sene services stops working! (unfortunatly Messages has stopped, this is amessage that appear as i am typing this post) the pone reboots and goes on a boot loop, I have to go recovery and do a factory reset and start everything over again...
This has been happening for a few days now.
I appreciate any help or advice.
UPDATE
There are specific message i get: Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. if i click OK the message just reappear.
Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped.
Unfortunately, google Play Store has stoped.
I cleared everything and then it said I had a UID error on reboot, I've no idea how to clear my data partition, I thought it was that I was doing through Clockwork Mod, but I've reflashed a couple of different roms and I just can't get my phone to turn on to do anything about it because the com.google.process.gapps error just repeatedly flashes up, alongside the print spool one, and media.
Can anyone help?
So I have a totally stock Nexus 9, never rooted, unlocked, anything. I have experience with all that, on my Nexus 5, 7, etc. but was completely happy with my 9 and content to "just use it". Anyway, had encryption enabled, took the 5.1.1 OTA update the other day, and on reboot had constant process com.android.phone stopped error messages. As soon as you acknowledge, the message reappears. Between error popups, I was able to type in my passcode for the screen lock, and try to get into settings, clear caches, etc. Nothing worked. Decided a factory reset was best. No change, still constant errors. Did a factory reset from recovery and bootloader. Still no changes, same constant error. Tried to go through setup but after joining wifi, it sits at the "checking connection" page and goes no further - all with the constant error. It will not allow me to skip setup or skip wifi setup.
Can not flash factory image or do anything from fastboot because bootloader is locked.
Device is running latest bootloader for 5.1.1 but at the top of the bootloader screen it says OS-n/a. Is this normal?
Any suggestions or do I just RMA?
I have the same problem and found not way to get this fixed. Only wiping user data and reinstalling rom works. The problem returns when rooting and after the first reboot.
Since I´ve got an nexus 9 lte, it might be related to the radio image not included?

I have a Sprint Note 3 and I am having the dreaded "Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped" problem.
I tried every single fix I found online. Even the stupid ones I new wouldn't work. I finally caved and did a full wipe. Low and behold, on the very first setup screen the error message immediately popped up.
I am stock (whatever the latest version is) and rooted.
If factory reset doesn't work I don't know what else would work. That's usually the last recourse. Any suggestions? HELP!
Do I maybe need to re-flash the stock rom? If so, can someone please provide a link?
