Found this spot on my OG that if you put a magnet on it opens car mode, just found it odd
Any uses for this?

Great find! This likely means that a car dock was at least planned for the phone. I hope LG didn't scrub the idea, as I would love a specialized dock.
Good find! Works on my phone as well.

I tried this with a magnet behind the phone, left side, right below volume down button and it is working great. Very nice find indeed!

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, but the android market seems to have plenty of car cradle apps, but I can't seem to find anything for for the desk cradle. Any suggestions for a good customizable desk cradle app?

I've looked around and found the Xperia Play dock/cradle home screen to be more to my liking. Suggestions anyone???

There is an app called
Desk Clock Plus
I used to use.

Anyone else notice that when tapping the top half the screen it feels like it's slight loose? I just activated it an hour ago :-\

Shake it it does the same sound.. I thought it was the screen but I'm thinking it's the lens in the camera clicking around.
I just posted about this in another thread but now I'm curious are only some phones doing this or is it just the way the phone is. It doesn't seem like a big a deal but for a $600 phone I would expect it not to rattle when I touch it
No noise or rattling on my phone..

No noise here neither but I notice that bottom of the screen is collecting dust and if I look closed enough I can see a gap between the screen and the bezel I wonder if tmobile would replaced my unit

try re-activating it. Also try a factory reset, should solve your loose screen problem.

I does... same noise when I shake it. Kind of ridiculous. It hasn't even been outside yet. I'm still rocking the LTE
Looking for a dock that allows usb plugin but lets the phone set horizontally rather than vertically.
I've searched around but can't find any.
Probably because they don't exist and would be large and bulky. This, unlike Motorola phones, were not meant to be charged on its side sadly. I miss that feature a lot from my atrix

If I couldn't get a horizontal dock I wouldn't even bother.

I have to take notes on my 2 when using the phone. Sure would be nice if the speaker phone would automatically turn on when I pull the stylus to scribble a note. Looked for a setting and searched to try and find a mod that does this. If you know how to do this please let me know. Thx. GA

I'd say if an app could do it it'd be this one:

I use Bluetooth a lot during the day, and especially when I want to take notes during a phone call. Speaker is nice, but not always loud/clear enough to use regularly.

I modded my output volumes so speaker is pretty loud now. No problems hearing. Even with my old ears. Lol

Thanks, I downloaded tasker, but it takes a pretty steep learning curve to use it. Reviewing utube vids to try and figure it out. If you have it down, maybe you can post the steps to have it turn on the speaker when the phone is in use and the stylus is pulled. Thanks.

I just don't know how to set a context involving pen detection. my only problem with Tasker is figuring out how to get it automate features that are particular to this phone such as the s pen and multi Window

Something similar happened to my sisters g3 two days ago. She pulled down the notification but it only came half way and the phone froze. A battery pull was the only way to fix it, thankfully it hasn't happened since.

Thanks for your help. I think when I put this otter box symmetry on I had some dust or something messing it up. I took it off and it immediately started working. Blew the case out with duster and now I'm good.

That's interesting. My sister doesn't have a case yet so I guess her issue must be different. Btw if it happens again enable developer mode and show touches, maybe your case is causing ghost touches.

Only freeze up I've had was when i was using the camera. Took some pics, recorded a video, took some more pics, exited camera app, phone froze up and i had to pull the battery. I've tried to reproduce it but can't.

So far up to date everything is smooth as silk on this bad boy. Just that stupid feedback when the head jack is plugged in and I can here feedback when I press certain areas our buttons.

Good thinking on the developer options. That might come in handy if I need to take it back to best buy. I've got the headphones Jack issues plugging it into my car stereo as well. Software can fix that so no big deal.
