So I'm having the same problem. Tried to install Google+ app on the Wildfire of my sister, but he says, he can't install it.
It's not rooted, no custom rom or anything, it's stock.
I think (can't look right now) it has Android 2.1 - which is, regarding to the Market, high enough for the Google+ app.
So is there any chance to install the Google+ app without rooting and flashing a custom rom?
It seems its dissapeared from the market for us, I know the new hangouts feature requires a front facing camera so I'm thinking that might be why it was pulled.

Well, my DHD doesn't have a front face camera, but Google+ still works :-/
Well, now the market app isn't compatibel with the widfire anymore. If someone have the old version: DON'T UPDATE IT.
And for all, who want to have the old version installed with the apk, it is in the attachemend

Yes, it translates to English, v1..0.7 (latest one I think) works fine too except for the hangouts.
I tried pushing the front facing camera permissions but still I'm getting "this device doesn't support hangouts" other than that new version works fine.

I know that Viber is not officially compatable with the Wildfire, but I have installed the apk below and all is fine on my phone running jokerDroiD ROM
I've tried it too. It does work with cm7 based ruymanca rom.
With SUnAaBh.v.1.1 works without problems..
Call quality using this is really unbelievable!
When I first installed Hellfire the viber app force closed all the time so I uninstalled it but this works perfect, thank you!

Mine has sound quality problems. There're echos, delays and interruptions sometimes, though the free sms feature is working well. Are they working on fixing this?

What market are you using ?
It doesn't show up on the market on my handset , with the market online it won't let me download as it says "Not Compatable"
It's pretty amazing what this app can do! Call quality is okay.

Hey I'm using the only Market I know, I guess everyone has the same?
The latest version 2.0.1 has severe problems with Wildfire and Hero, that's why it's not showing up in the Market of these 2 models. I'm using version 2.0.0

You can now download it for "partially-supported devices"
but as I have already said it is working fine on JokerDroid 4.2

I've dowloaded it from the market and had the same issues on sound calls.
With the text messages everything works well.

Hi all, me again. So Ive had the new elegancia 4.2.0 rom flashed on my ATT HOX+ and i havent been receiving notifications from apps like facebook, twittier, instagram, snapchat, and a couple of others. it is weird because on the previous version of this rom i was receiving notifications just fine. Anyone know if there is a hotfix for this? maybe reinstalling the rom? Thanks!

REPGON doesn't work for HOX+, because HTC messed up the smartsync API....

Works great. I didn't follow the instructions initially.
4-after booting you must go to app settings and wipe data for browser from all apps or you will allways get force close
they lost me there. I'm suppose to go through all my apps one by one and wipe data? I got over 100 apps. Our just data from the browser app? could someone please clarify?

It should be just the browser app
I tried that and it still FC'd on me, had to restore the OEM browser.

Tried the instructions, flashed zip in recovery, wiped cache and dalvik cache, rebooted then cleared data, defaults for browser app in settings/applications/all applications...
Running latest Android Revolution HD 6.5 Rom, it worked when I was running viper x 1.0.8 now when running android revolution HD it doesnt replace the sense browser... When I tap on browser it still opens the sense browser instead of the AOSP one... Any advice ? Maybe I missed something ?

Try reflashing again if it didn't work extract the browser.apk then copy it to system/app using recovery file manager and make sure to mount system

Yep, this is kinda weird. Notice that HTC's app is on the play store for some time now, but only has 3 ratings? It looks like it is disabled for everyone.
You can try to get the apk from play store. Here is one tutorial how to do it.

Nah, won't work. It is the true blinkfeed but the issue is that aits designed for the 4.4 API, hence us running 4.2.2 won't allow us to use it. That's why i was able to see it on 4.4 but i cant see it now.
Is there a way to modify the APP that we can use it in 4.2 too

I think HTC will be smart enouigh to downgrade it themselves. You see, from my point of view, I don't really want 4.4 that much as much as i want sense 6. I can get 4.4 from AOSP easily thanks to our devs, but I want Blinkfeed launcher most importantly.
HTC released that app about 1 week ago, which is still not available to all phones yet. I think they want to make every one feel how awesome their software is, so I think they will make blinkfeed available to all androids 4.0+.
BBM did something similar, they started with 4.2.2 and above, then one by one decreased. Now its available to 2.6 androids.
I think i will just wait.

I guess Ghand0ur is kind of right. If HTC were to update the apps in our One X+, such as the launcher, the Gallery etc., 4.2.2 wouldn't suck that much.
They even have HTC zoey and HTC TV and other apps in the playstore but you can not find them with your phone.you must search it With the pc

I succeeded to get the latest launcher working on my HOX+ with CarbonRom on (4.4). It said on the market that my phone isn't supported so I had to download the apk alone from a third party app. I succeeded to have the basic functions of the launcher. App Drawer, widgets, home screens, home wallpaper, however
1- Blinkfeed was broken, it said "No content, swipe down to refresh" and swiping from the left side of the screen gave me a sidebar with "Highlights" in it and clicking the 3 dotted button wouldn't bring anything up.
2-Also when I clicked on the "Search" button in the app drawer the launcher would just stop working.
How did you get it to work whenever i will to Start the launcher there is a message that my phone is not supported

You have to have 4.4 , so download a kitkat rom(like carbon rom or cyanogenmod) . Then search for the apk online. I think we aren't allowed to mention third party apps that get you full apps for free. So you have to search for one.

It won't work, as I said I downloaded the apk from somewhere else and only the basic functions worked. BlinkFeed did not.
Anyway once BlinkFeed will be available for us I will move straight away to 4.4 . Can't wait !!

Why not just change your device model in the build.prop to one of the ones that does support it. That should theoretically trick google into letting you download it.
