It gets pushed to your phone just like any OTA. Soak members just get it earlier than others to test out for any last minute bugs.

So, im on the EU leak. How do I participate in the Soak if I get an invite?
Check out HTC Sensation theme and app thread. Google now will work on RAZR ics .211. With exception of voice search. But its a start and looks awesome can't wait until its fully functional.

You need to be rooted, but Google just releases android 4.1 source, so a Jelly Bean build is in the works I'm sure. I would just be patient, it'll come soon enough

Yeah but we saw how long it took to get ICS ready for the razr. I doubt we get it before Christmas. You think with Google buying Motorola they would be the first to get anything after the nexus line of phones

Patrick, do you recommend a particular rooting program for the razr? I liked super-one-click that i used last time for my Droid Incredible

It's an upgrade for GingerBread not for ICS. If you're already with ICS, of course, you'll not see any update. The message however will come to everyone. At least, we have our warranty back! Cheers

I'll not be on this waiting thing. Jelly Beam will not arrive this year.. One of the devices I was waiting for will be released sep 19 here and willl come with a locked bl unfortunally. ~>Razr maxx hd.
I'll get One X+ soon as it comes out later this month.

I was ironic about the update JB. The history of Motorola does not allow us to dream. I received notification of ICS but it was with the last rom. I am thinking seriously about buying a HTC next year. A pity that only meet the Mercado Livre in Brazil.

Well, at least Jelly Bean for XT912 is confirmed in the Motorola Android Upgrade Status, so i guess that when we get this, it will be easy to port to XT910 cause of hardware specs are identical

Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't see 910. I had 912 on the brain. As seen from the link provided in the post above this one shows that there is no official JB status for the 910. Not even a promise of it in the future.

I am sure there are a lot of differences between countries. But it doesn't matter when concerning the 910. The only mention of it in the planned upgrades is in Asia-Pacific and that is for upgrade to ICS. Not JB.
ICS upgrade for XT910 is mentioned for every zone around the world, not just for Asia...

I just searched the page for 910. the only place they use that model is for Asia-Pacific. But as I look at it harder they mention the RAZR for ICS upgrage in several countries. Thye just didn't use the model number.
AND under US they say the RAZR is getting JB but they have the model as (XT912)next to i instead of XT910. Then right below that they have the RAZR MAXX and the correct model number of that (XT912).
So they made a typo for the regular RAZR under the US chart. And it says it is scheduled for JB. Just not when.
I am glad that Moto is better at making phones than they are at typing!! LOL
That is not typo... Verizone's Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX are XT912, and RAZR and RAZR MAXX for the rest of the world are both XT910!

We said the same thing about ICS and it came like 6-7 months to late, I suppose it will be the same with JB
