Hello everybody,
I've gotten my hand on the Goophone I5.. one of lucky 200 first to get this phone.
The hardware is surprisingly great but the software is just... terrible. I really hope someone can help me out on this.
*This phone came in pre-rooted*
# PROBLEM NUMBER 01
1) Their china-iphone 5 launcher is so damn laggy
2) Hence I downloaded ilauncher (downloaded the apk because.. #problem 2)
3) But the problem is, i can't seem to change the default launcher to ilauncher because these china dudes actually mapped the home button to their self-made launcher -_- So even if you download golauncher etc and you press the home button, it does not allow you to change the launcher at all?!
4) The only way i manage to get into ilauncher is via easy touch.
I tried uninstalling their default launcher and guess what. The menu button now does not work at all. Unbelievable. I remember reading up on how it is possible to change configuration of the home button but i'm not too sure on how to do so. If someone could enlighten me, i would really be grateful.
# PROBLEM NUMBER 02
1) Their google play store just simply doesn't work. I've tried installing all the google services applications, changing the permission setting of vending.apk to rw-r--r-- and whenever google market successfully connects to google server it simply just force closed (Google Play has stopped responding).
2) I've tried market enabler but it doesnt seem to help at all.
Anybody has a clue?

Hey how you going. Ok I got the Zophone i5 yesterday and I was having the same problem as you regards to problem number to. mine seem to work by naming the market file to vending.apk and setting the permission. Another thing you can try is this.

I know he does not have the real goophone but it might work.
good luck

Good luck!
Goophone I5 Lite
Hi all,
You don't need to root the phone or try to.
The goophone i5 comes rooted from factory.
To access the clockworkmod just turn off phone
Power Button + Volume Down [-]
And that's it!
If your phone get bricked on the boot logo you just need to press the tiny button between the camera and flash.
To change the boot logo into the apple logo, please follow the steps:
Get a Root Explorer (I recommend ES File Manager)
Navigate to System/Media/ and you will notice that there is 4 files named Bootanimation.zip, Shutdownanimation.zip and bootanimationIphone.zip and shutdownanimationIphone.zip.
Just rename the rename the original ones to bootanimationgp.zip and shutdownanimation.zip and delete the word iphone from the other ones. This way you will get the Original Apple boot animations.
To remap the home button please go to system/usr/keylayout/ and open the file named mkt-kpd.kl as text, scroll down to the key 102 and just rename the Home to Back, save the file, reboot phone and that's it.
Notice that you'll lose the double tap to go the the task manager, lock screen orientation , etc.
To remove all the chinese apps just go to system/apps/ and delete whatever you want. Do not delete system files, otherwise your phone will not work properly.
To install google software, just get the G_Apps from google for ICS version, or copy them from an existing rom running the ICS 4.0.x. Copy all the files into system/app/, reboot the phone and that's it.
After reboot you will see that you'll have all the google apps, but it will be shown an error com.google.process.gapps stoped. I haven't solved this yet. i can add an google account, all the apps like gmail, gtalk, google +, messenger works but google play don't! It opens, you can search for apps but when you try do download them it crashes giving and error 906.
I'm using aptdoide for now..until i get this solved.
I hope this information help you out solving some of the goophone software issues.
Don't forget to press thanks button is this information is usefull for you.
Regards.

I foolishly deleted the timescape.apk from my phone as i dont use it and wanted to free up some memory. I believe some part of the OS is trying to open it still as I get an error message that it cant be found each time I reboot. I tried downloading a .apk from the web but it wouldnt install, so I assume there are different versions. Could someone please post the Timescape.apks (there are three related ones IIRC) so that I can reinstall please?
Maybe the widget is still on one of your home screens? I deleted mine and I have no issues.
No, I have never used it. Thats why I am a bit confused to be honest. It comes up every time I reboot, says something along the lines of "Timescape service failed to start".
Timescape
Someone in the forum said that you should leave the timescape provider service to not get that error message, and that helped me.
Hello,
You must also remove :
uWlopProvider.apk
SnsContactImageCacheProvider.apk
TimescapePluginManager.apk
TimescapeProvider.apkto completely uninstall Timescape.

Have the exact same issue... Coby Kyros 7033 with no Google Play... Installed the latest and greatest download of Google Play successfully, but it just opens and then closes immediately.
What's the easiest way to get Google Play on a Coby Kyros 7033?
Google Play onto Kyros 7033
I purchased one of these tablets to play around with, and cannot install Google Play onto it either.
It will load, then it closes instantly!!
Any suggestions would be more than welcome!!
If I have posted this in the wrong area, please forgive me!!
Thank you!!
Google Play, Coby Kyros 7033 - No Root Needed
You can actually get the Android Market (precursor to the more current Play Store) on this device fairly quickly and without root. I just did this process on a friend's tablet today. He purchased it for his son for Christmas on Cyber-Monday.
The main problem, I think, is that many people are trying to install the latest Google Play APK file and it's just not supported on this device. You can get around this by installing the older Android Market.
Okay, before we begin... I'm going to assume you have everything stock and are using the stock browser for downloading the files attached to this message.
Additionally, I'm going to assume you have already created a Google GMail account and know your username and password. (You will need this to access the store later during setup, so if you don't have one yet... head over to Google and set one up.)
Finally, I'm going to assume you've first read this ENTIRE post before attempting anything.
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if this results in a bricked device. It shouldn't, however, because we are not modifying any essential items and we are not ROOT'ing the device. This is perfectly above-board.
---- START ----
1.) Download the files attached to this message and save them on your tablet. NOTE: This installs an older version of the Android Market, not the current Google Play store... but it still works.
Be aware, that the selection of apps is limited, but you can still work with it. For example, it does not have the original Angry Birds app. That's available in GetJar or Amazon Appstore however.
2.) Open the App list (by tapping the box made of little squares, mine was in the upper right hand corner of the tablet)
3.) Open ES File Explorer (or whatever you are using for a file manager)
4.) Open the folder where the .apk files are... if you are using the stock browser, the files will be in the "downloads" folder
5.) Run them in the following (very specific) order
**** IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you install the last file (com.android.vending) and click "Done", it will automatically launch the Market setup. DO NOT CONTINUE THE SETUP at this point!!! It will mess up the whole process. ****
a.) OneTimeInitializer.apk --> Click Done
b.) SetupWizard.apk --> Click Done
c.) GoogleServicesFramework-signed.apk --> Click Done
d.) com.android.vending.3.3.12.apk --> Click Done
**** Again, at this point... the Market setup will begin. Do not enter anything ****
6.) Press and hold the Power button to turn the tablet off. Yes, I know you just interrupted the setup process... but this step is needed so that all the apk's you just installed have been processed properly BEFORE running the setup sequence.
7.) Once you are sure it's completely off... Turn it back on
9.) After the initial Coby Kyros screen, you will see a menu with two options BEFORE it lands at the desktop...
*** Check the "Use this as default" box on the very bottom (it's very small).
*** Then select the option on top ("Launcher"). You do NOT want to run the "Setup Wizard".
10.) Make sure you are connected to an active Wi-Fi connection (open your browser and navigate to this forum to ensure it's working)
11.) Open the Apps list (by tapping the box made of little squares, again mine was in the upper right hand corner of the tablet)
12.) Tap on the "Android Market" icon in this list. It will be the default, ugly android APK icon.
13.) Select the option that you already have a GMail account
14.) Enter your GMail username and password... and continue
15.) In a few seconds, you should be able to access the Market.
If you want to redeem Google Play gift cards with this version of the Market/Play store... go here (http://play.google.com/redeem)
-------- END ---------
I hope this works for you as quickly as it worked for us. It only took about 15 minutes and my friend was able to purchase Minecraft Pocket Edition for his son to play on this device. We ran the game and verified it was working smoothly.
Cheers!!!
Followed every step... gets to where I can sign in or create a new google account. Log in with my current google account... get the status bar that says: Your Phone needs to communicate with Google Servers to set up your account... may take 5 min....
Fails every time... "Cannot establish a reliable data connection to the server" And it's not because I'm not on the internet, cause I'm sitting at usatoday.com to verify internet connectivity in the browser.

I don't have this tablet in front of me... I just helped my friend set it up.
That being said, this is a common problem for Android phones.
Here are a few things to try...
1. Try going to YouTube through the app and login with your gmail account.
2. Go to GMail app and add your account
3. Sign into Gmail account with your username and password
4. Go back through the login process
Alternately,
1. Go to settings, applications, manage applications, tap Google apps
2. Tap clear data, then okay
3. Try again.

Wow, that will take a little research. My first thought is to do a factory reset and start over.
I'll see what I can dig up.

You can try going to Google Play from a computer browser and logging in, picking a free app, and try sending it to your tablet from there. It should automatically download and install. That doesn't give you a working market you can browse on your tablet though.
From what I can find, it sounds like the market app version is not correct or is corrupted.
Please verify that you used the one included in my post above.
If so, try the following....
1. Settings -> Applications -> Market -> Force Stop, Clear Cache
2. Restart tablet and try Market
If still not working...
1. Settings -> Applications -> Market -> Force Stop, Clear Cache, Clear Data
2. Restart tablet and try Market... you'll probably have to login again
If still not working, factory reset the tablet and refer back to my original post. Make sure you don't try to login after install until you've reset the tablet. (Follow the steps exactly).
If still doesn't work, I'm stumped and I'm sorry. I hope one of these works.

No problem. I'm glad you got it working finally.
For some reason, the Coby Kyros tablets do not work well with Google Play.
They do work with the old Android Market (the apk for which, if anyone else is reading this thread, is a download in my first post).
Don't worry though, you'll still see all the "compatible" apps.
Between the Android Market and GetJar, you should be able to get most apps.
Best wishes.

not able to install third pack
Re-download the files... Its most likely a corrupted download.
After after that... You are stuck....
You can wipe your device to factory stock and try again before you do anything to the tablet.

I've been scouring the references on this and the only thing I can suggest is trying this (different) framework package (see attachment). It's worked for a few other tablets, but I have no idea if it will work for you.
Beyond that, I'm completely stumped so I truly hope it works. I'm sorry I can't be of much help as I do not have the tablet to try this out (I was just helping a friend with his son's tablet and the original files worked flawlessly for us).
P.S. Did you do a complete factory reset on the device and attempt the process a second time? It may help if something got mis-installed during the original attempt.
From my research you start with a completely powered down tablet...
1. Turn on the tablet by pressing and holding the Power Button, Volume Down (-) and the Back Button
2. After a couple seconds you should see the android logo with instructions on formatting the tablet
(*). If that doesn't work, try pressing and releasing the power button, then pressing and holding the three buttons as soon as you see the Coby logo
Best regards!

Hi! I've got a challenge for you guys! It happens that I own a coby kyros mid7033-4 and I've tried so hard to root it. I have tried with superoneclick, bin4ry, unlock root (which actually says that supports my tablet but it tells me that it failed to shell root), and android root. This last one, android root, worked, but not properly. Some programs tell me my device is rooted but root check tells: Sorry! This device does not have a proper root access. Help me! I'm trying to root so that I can install google now on ics.

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you'll run across a solution. In the meantime, you can install the Amazon Appstore which has most of the same apps as the Google Play market. That was our back-up plan for my friend's tablet. He was insistent on getting Minecraft on it for his son.
Best of luck.

On my stock HTC "Internet" browser, if i'm on a page and want to search for something new, when I press the search button and start typing, it will type inside of the current URL. To fix it, I need to hold my finger on the current URL, press "select all", delete it and then I can search. This is very annoying to do every time.
The problem doesn't exist on other browsers, but I want to use the HTC browser. A google search will show that many other people have this problem also.
I contacted HTC about it and they just told me basic troubleshooting steps (clear cache, factory reset, etc.) which don't work. I rooted my phone just to try a rooted stock rom to see if it worked.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

Well to answer my own question, I fixed it. I have harmonia rom, which replaced the HTC browser with the normal ICS browser. I took the browser.apk from a deodexed stockrom, uninstalled the browser included in harmonia, and put the deodexed stockrom HTC version into my system/apps folder, changed the permissions and rebooted.
Now the HTC browser is installed and has no problems.
Dear All,
I have accidently deleted the Home launcher app of my Android 2.2 mobile (Chinese H3000 model); as a result it is not going beyond the screen saver at all, the screen just turns blank with no widgets/shortcuts/buttons appearing at all!

Dear Mr Akshay,
Thanks for responding but none of the two options work - Couldn't see play store in the launch on pressing & holding Home key; was able to access play store via gmail login on my PC & tried downloading - the message did appear that it will be loaded shortly on the device but thereafter nothing on the Phone. The main problem is that I'm not getting any menu buttons at all, it's only a blank screen as soon as I unlock the screen saver i.e I have no settings button or any other button. While connected to PC only the sd card gets read in the windows explorer on PC, but there's way to open sd card on phone!

Missing launcher fixed!
Hello to all!
I note a lot of inquires on this site many of users using programs's like Titanium backup and other "advance" users just deleted Launcher as soon is they get there hands on the root!
Then they find out that they can see only black screen. Many of you try to replace it with dozen of software's but find out that Debugging mode is off. And is no way that can be enabled.
Well not all that bad as it shows. Firs at all if you are still log in to your Google app go to your account on Google go to apps and download, it will stated online that item is available on your phone now it over, top bar you can see it and install it come to the phone via Ethernet - WiFi or 4G.
If you already reset your phone or hard reset and you still see the black screen watch my video on how to get launcher in to your phone very simple, using dongle, other Bluetooth enabled laptop or smart phone!
youtu.be/MGrhmAgKH0o
I has face the same problem as you and i has done it right way
Since you has root your android phone,I know that you are very excited to remove those unusefull apps same as me.I got the same problem as you that I also used China Mobile phone and can't done any of the suggestion here(suggested such as flash those .zip in recovery) that won't work on china mobile type. When I has delete my home launcher, one thing for sure, the screen is black after turned on and I did reset factory data in recovery mode(worst move ever cause my wifi connected password has totally gone). So,my first effort was I take my moms tablet and start downloading any launcher (.apk) .Okay, since before I get into black screen,If I press lock key,the ring menu will appear right?.I used those ring menu as a door to get into my bluetooth connection. At the ring menu,I drag it towards 'camera',and then click on the pictures that you have captured(gallery in camera).Just pick any random photo and click share (via bluetooth) after that,I send a photo to my moms tablet(actually just to make pairing cause can't go to bluetooth settings). After paired,I try to send the home launcher.apk from my moms tablet using bluetooth connection that has been paired this before.Eventually, after receive the apk file,I can't open it.It says "no application can perform this action"(but, maybe you should try it first.Maybe it'll work on you.If not, try another one of my step). So,I was frustrated having an unsolved solutions through internet source information and I almost dump my phone in the dustbin. But then,I try another way. This time,I use the same door/way(through camera in ring menu). But this time I try to send through gmail(I don't think that I have any wifi or data connection after reset factory data eh?!).But boom !! The idea comes to me that I try to send the photo through gmail account just to make a wifi connection(again, because I can't go to settings). So,after I try to send it through gmail, the Sign-In screen will appear(but remember,I don't have any wifi/data connected. What I'm going to do?!!).I just filled in my email and password and click Sign-In.Of course the connection can't be made because there is no connection at all.But the trick is,when you wait for a few seconds, you will be asked to make a wifi connection(automatically the wifi around you appear in the list). So,make a connection through any wifi and sign-in(yeay!!connection established !).After that,I try to send home launcher.apk through gmail using my mom's tablet to my phone and a few moments later you will get a gmail notification through notification bar.Click on it,and click install. There you go.You are safe again.

This was the closest, but still didn't work for me. Unfortunately, any launcher I try to install gets the "X Application not installed" error.
I had used the app System App Remover to remove some of the crapware that Sprint and Samsung bog down your phone with. In particular I use Google Calendar for my main calendar and I use it through Thunderbird too as well as Google's web app for calendar. I love that I can easily create events and wham they are right there on my phone too.
Now I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung puts it's own calendar app there and when you go into that calendar it wants you to set up a Samsung account, etc. I don't want a Samsung account and I'm quite happy staying with Google Calendar. So I tried to remove the Samsung portions of Calendar but leave the Google Calendar, etc. It is hard to tell which is which because they both simply use the name "Calendar". In any event I screwed up my Google Calendar on my Note 3.
Now this System app remover says it's safe or relatively safe and that it backs up any system app you remove in a "recycle bin" so you can reinstall it. So I go to the recycle bin and attempt to reinstall the Google calendar app I removed and it failed! I've talked to the developer and he's just perplexed and I'm out of a calendar on my phone!!!
I've tried reinstalling the Google Calendar app from the play store and while that succeeds I see no calendars being displayed. Here's some of the odd behavior I see:
When it starts it presents a month view with no events
Selecting Calendars to Display shows nothing
Selecting Calendars to Sync shows a blank page with Cancel and OK buttons but it says Loading forever!
Even though I have already signed into a Google account, if I try to add a Google account and supply my username and password it says that it had trouble contacting the Google Servers and to try again later. Of course later it does the same thing
If I go into my Settings and look at my Google account and what syncs I see no entry for Sync Calendar
If I try to make a new event I get a similar black screen saying Loading..., Cancel and Done buttons but it goes nowhere
It seems like the sync portion of Google Calendar/Account is broken or something is not signed properly. I've tried to find the appropriate CalendarSync.apk file and found a few, installed a few but the behavior described above remains the same.
HELP!
Is there a way to fix this without having to flash a rom? I used to play with installing rom's but now a days I try to just keep it stock - well I get additional apps but I try not to flash rom's and get unsupported. I have used towelroot to gain access to root. I use it because I also use Tasker and Secure Settings to try to automate some things and for some odd reason you cannot toggle GPS on and off until you get Secure Setting and root your phone! Stupid. And because I'm rooted System Update doesn't want to update me. I'm not sure if there's an OTA update for Sprint Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 but I would have thought that if there was say 4.4.3 available that update would fix my problem.
If I can't fix that problem could I flash a stock Sprint rom (where?) and then have all my apps come back from backup/restore (I recently did a factory reset and even this didn't fix it! And while many apps came back courtesy of Google, a number didn't and what is worse is that I lost a number of settings and configurations. I wouldn't want to have to do that again.
I'm almost at the point of saying screw it and getting back into custom ROMs. Sprint rarely updates us, Google doesn't update us so what's the point of staying stock kernel? Sprint tech droid are incompetent.
In any event if somebody can help that'd be cool (why such apps as Calendar and the like need to be backed into the ROM instead of just downloadable and installable like every other app is beyond me!)

Ok, chances are the Bloatware removal script removed more than just the GoogleCalendarSnycAdapter.apk. It probably removed most or all your Google Apps. First I would try and reinstall the calendar app from the recycle bin again, this time copy and paste it with some type of root manager app like Root Explorer. Make sure you put it in system/app and not system/priv-app. Check the permissions they should be rw-r--r-- after your have pasted the app. Then with the root manger app go to Delvik-Cache and delete it, now power down the device completely and reboot. It will take a minute as it rebuilds the Delvik-Cache.
Now in the event that the removal script took all the Google apps, here is a link for stock KK 4.4.2 NC5 .tar http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2712205 ( Thanks micmars ) just follow the steps listed on his thread. Here is a link for Odin v 1.85 and Samsung drivers http://www.downloadodin.info/download-odin-1-85 version 1.85 always works the best for me.

Note that all other Google apps (at least the apps I use) work fine. Hangouts, Chrome, Chromeccast, GMail, Music, etc.
OK, I see two GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk files - one in /sdcard/Download that is 490.33 KB and one that is already in /system/app that is -rw-r--r-- but 618.06 KB. More is better right? I use ES File Explorer as a file manager and I am root. I could not find anything on my system with *delvik* in the name. Might it be something with *art* instead? Isn't Kit Katt on art now and not delvik? Wait I found it under /data. When you say "delete it" what is "it"? I ask because I see things like:
[email protected]@[email protected]
[email protected]@[email protected]
[email protected]@[email protected]
[email protected]@GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter(1)[email protected]
[email protected]@[email protected]
I think #4 was created when I accidentally downloaded GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk twice into /system/app. I've copied these 5 files to save them then removed #3 and #4, powered down and back up. Nothing different.
Next I copied all of /data/delvik to the sdcard and removed all of the files under /data/delvik, powered down and back up.This took considerably longer as the cache was rebuilt at startup. In fact it said Android is upgrading... After that it started apps and I was back up. But the calendar still exhibits the exact same behavior.
I think what needs to be reinstalled is probably the Calendar Storage because it seems to me whenever I try to add an event or a calendar it fails.
As for your links, why am I flashing my entire phone with a new rom and what will be happening to all of the apps and settings I currently have installed? I'm sorry but I really only want my Calendar app to come back. Everything else works. Last time when I did a factory reset in attempting to fix this many apps came back, but many didn't and lots of them had missing settings, etc. I really, really don't want to go through that again!
BTW why didn't I get an email when you responded...

First sorry for the slow response, was out of town helping my daughter move. Now the correct size for the GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk is 618.06KB. Here are copies of the files off my device which is a note 3 stock rooted 4.4.2 NC5.
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk https://mega.co.nz/#!tNxxxI5T!5xftzTM9ajyF45MeMR-qDS61ftYIhUIT3p2-hsBdN0w
SecCalendarProvider.apk https://mega.co.nz/#!0FIE0JgI!ENASoyihE3CLhECDDvBbRec1ROU5FxkAERQID7q7FPU
SecCalendarProvider.odex https://mega.co.nz/#!8MICFZSY!z23JLhKGgI9K5-1Lpe_GYszMlXmJyVaKsfaKd2vyCm8
Download to PC desktop, copy and paste to your sd card, then with your ES File manger copy the original files to a ext sd card or PC desktop. Now copy and paste the downloaded files, the adapter goes in system/app and the provider goes in system/priv-app. Once installed, check permissions rw-r--r-- then go to data/delvik-cache and delete the delvik-cache file, then go to cache/recovery and delete the last install and last log files. Then completely power down the device and reboot, delvik-cache will rebuild, then the new apks to will install.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Looks like I'm back up! No problem on the wait, I just wanted to keep the issue alive here.
Detailing what I did for the benefit of the next person I first downloaded your files and used PushBullet to push them to my phone. If you haven't heard of PushBullet then you should check it out! It's a nice way of pushing files, links, directions between your cell phone and your browser. I then:
. Put these files into /sdcard/Downloads/Calendar
. Moved /system/app/GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk -> /sdcard/Downloads/save
. Moved /system/priv-app/SecCalendarProvider.apk -> /sccard/Downloads/save
. I could not find a SecCalendarProvider.odex file under /system/priv-app! Perhaps that was the root of my problem.
. I copied /sdcard/Downloads/Calendar/GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk -> /system/app
. I copied /sdcard/Downloads/Calendar/SecCalendarProvider.apk -> /system/priv-app
. I copied /sdcard/Downloads/Calendar/SecCalendarProvider.odex -> /system/priv-app
. I looked at the perm bits of these files and when they were in /sdcard/Download/Calendar I could only see one of the 3 bit setting. It was set to 6 or rw-. However once I copied them to /system/app I could see the full set of perms and I changed them to 644.
. As for /data/delvik-cache, I didn't know exactly which file to delete but played it save and only deleted [email protected]@[email protected]. I figured if that was not the right think I could do it again but move all of the delvik-cache off of the phone like I did before. Turns out I didn't need to.
. I didn't bother (actually didn't see) the part about deleting the log files in the cache/recovery. Apparently I didn't need to.
Powered down the phone and then back up. Briefly saw a thing about updating and then I boot in. Started the Calendar and it didn't look good - it looked like it did before. But I went to the "Calendars to Display" and to my amazement it displayed many of my calendars! I went back and events were filling in as the background sync was taking place. I'M BACK!!!!
Thanks.

Hi, all. I followed all the instructions in this thread twice because I'm having the same issue and no luck. The "Calendars to Sync" is still spinning endless on the "Loading..." screen. I'm on stock Note 3 and have root. I even deleted all the files from /data/dalvik-cache. Any other suggestions? My issue is just the calendar sync as well. All the apk and other files mentioned here have been placed from the downloads that were provided. I'm totally dependent on my multiple calendars and dead in the water here.

I also was unable to follow this procedure with any success. I'm trying to get Google Calendar working again on my Sprint Galaxy S4 running 5.0.1 rooted stock. When I put seccalendarprovider in the app folder I get a crashy Calendar Storage (unusable). When I put it in a subfolder of priv-app it just says that Calendar Storage is disabled. When I just dump it straight into priv-app it's also crashy and unusable.
