I have just got my SII and am trying to connect to both of my Google accounts - my Gmail account is the one I use for trash & Market, my Google Apps account is the one I need for email, contacts & calendar.
It syncs the Gmail account fine, connects to the Google Apps account fine but only shows Calendar & Contacts for sync, the email account is missing. I was using a Nexus One fine with both accounts but the SII just won't see the G_Apps email.
Anyone got any ideas ?
Handset from O2 UK, locked I assume.

O___o
That is a bit of a bummer. I use at least 2 Google Apps accounts... Though I'm pretty sure that this sort of functionality comes from the Google stuff, rather than Samsung...
Did you add them both in the same way?

prolly your are forgetting a checkbox... are you syncing both accounts?
in gmail app, under accounts do you see both accounts?
I have both a GMail account and a Google Apps account - both are syncing fine here, showing sync options for calendar, contacts and mail for both accounts.
So must be something specific to your setup - definitely not a SGS2 or Google limitation
Can't work out why this happened, it is working now so it may have been a setting or anything, I deleted the G_Apps account & added it again & it all worked.
Thanks
Hi everyone!
I haven't figure out how to switch Google Talk to work with different gmail accounts on my AT&T SGS2.
I have 2 gmail accounts in my phone (one for office and a personal). Seems like I can not pick which account Google Talk launches; it always launches the first account I created on the phone. I've been over and over the settings of Google Talk and nothing is provided for this. Does anybody know how to?
Any help will be appreciated.
as far as I know, this is not possible. this has been asked about before and it seems that gtalk uses your default gmail account only.
I use Google contacts sync, but I would try to use Samsung contact sync too. Therefore I made Samsung Account.
I cant find Android app, Win app or place on the Web (Samsung) where I can create Samsung contacts.
Trying to sync contacts on S3 gives me an sync error.
How to sync contacts between Google and Samsung account?
So since the latest google voice update, instead of selecting a different account for google voice, it now forces you to add the account. Now i'm wondering a) am i the only one sharing a google voice mailbox between 2 phones and b) should i perhaps go to a multi-account setup?
pre update:
my wife had a google account and used my google voice account
i had my own google account, so anytime a message was left for either of us, no matter who's phone we had we could get the message. Now if i had my account to her phone she also gets my gtalk, gmail, etc, unless i set them not to sync, but it's very easy to accidentally start gtalk with the wrong id, etc. It got me thinking, maybe I should create a new gmail account for things we like to mutually have i.e. a voice mail box , calendar and contacts and then we each have our own accounts for gmail, gtalk, etc
Having never used 2 accounts on one phone will this be pretty seamless? Anyone using this method? Anyone have ideas what some of the problems might be with this issue?
Hi all,
My company has bought about 50 HTC Desire 526G devices.
All running KK 4.4.2
Our mail system is Office 365.
We are unable to configure any of these devices for mail using the native Email app.
Error: Couldn't sign in.
Other Android devices working fine.
Reason for native e-mail app: Contacts synchronisation on the device
All users are managing their contacts in Outlook and those should be synced with the device.
So I've installed an updated version of Exchange Services (tried different versions) and the configuration is working now.
Problem is that it downloads the complete Global Address List instead of the users' contacts.
Also tried different versions of the Email app from apkmirror. Same issue
And tried with Exchange on the Gmail app. Configuration successful but it downloads the complete GAL.
Any other suggestions?
Alternative apps that will sync your Mail Contacts to the device?
