Can't the HTC one x plus Rom be ported to the one xl? I feel as if we waisted time getting it from the international... Some one please correct me if I'm wrong I am looking at getting a quad core one x, should I get the international or the one x plus?

which rom? there's a load. Also if it's the stock rom, go ahead and port it yourself
Any rom from any device can be ported. If you have the time & ability.

Are you sure about that last part? Pretty sure it would be more beneficial to have a developer who has and knows the ONE XL work on and look at porting roms to it rather than people with a ONE X+ who either never had or may no longer care about the device.
That's true, but you never know who's experimented....

So after having a rough time finding a fault free One X I gave up and to my joy, the One X+ was released a few months later and I gave in to its charms.
As I had already kitted out my One X (cases etc) I just put them on my One X+ however I'm now wondering if I should after seeing some official HTC One X cases saying they not compatible:
http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc_item.aspx?i=234131
Does anyone know why this would be? I thought the One X + was the same as the original other than specs.
Hy
I have a hox case on my hox+ and it fits 100% .

Is it the At&t one X case or the international version one X case?
For some reason the camera position of the two vers are different.
So should I buy the case for international version or at&t version for my one x+?

Lol um witch are the same?
1.One xl ( at&t) and one x + or
2.one x ( international) and one x +

Do you mean size as in the dimensions of the device or as in storage capacity? The dimensions of the device are almost identical to that of the international one x and it comes in 32gb and 64gb.

Actual size lol, the reason I ask is because the one xl from at&t is a diff. Size than the international version ( one is longer than the other by a couple mm.) Which makes a big difference when buying accessories

Josh, the AT&T X & X+ are almost the exact same size. The X+ feels a tad thicker to me, but my cases still fit it. Just a little more snug.

Hi I noticed he ONE X has a [WIP] sense 5 rom (think its the same software as on HTC ONE) are there any plans to port the software over to the one x+
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293032
More than likely not because they are different hardware, Qualcomm vs nvidia. But HTC is supposed to be releasing a 4.2 Rom for the one x + some time this summer. Weather that is actually going to happen or not no one knows.

its upto you which one you like, I would personally prefer HTC one, but again there are several pros & cons of each, before buying a HTC just get one thing straight, this company has a bad reputation when it comes to software updates, HTC always stop providing support to their handsets before expected, for eg. HTC one s was recently ditched, many others back in history were treated just same way, ...
one more thing, I was in a mobile store the other day checking several devices, I found neither of S4 or One as attractive as they are presented over internet, there was only handset which caught my eye-HTC butterfly, real piece of beauty, & upcoming Butterfly S looks even more deadly, so I would suggest you to go to store yourself & check them personally rather than buying online...
Lol, this is the Desire X forum, who cares.

your better off asking this and looking in the appropriate ONE or S4 forum
I would definitely go for the galaxy s4, if I needed to decide between those two. Personally, I would prefer a current flagship phone from Sony.

I'd go for the One. Both my brothers have one, and they love it. I gave it a shot and it's AMAZING.

HTC One +1
Its better than S4. Just look at the benchmark tests. (not the 8core version, anyway who need 8core, my laptop has 4)

S4 any day. HTC just sucks. Although the HTC One is very good looking and has a good build quality, I'd say the S4 if you plan on using the phone for more then 1 year.
THX guys for all of your valuable suggestions.

HTC One has perfect quality, Samsung working with plastic so if u want quality u need to buy One or Butterfly S.

Can't wait! I have always wanted the One X+ since it was announced. I have the HTC One Dual Sim right now, but due to lack of development support and weight, I am going to "downgrade" to the One X+. I am excited to get it! I feel the one X+ suites me better, smaller with less weight
But the X+ overheats... Although I think it's quite impressive

Very nice,I went to the s3

Can I suggest flashing a Sense 5 Rom? I've so far found MagioRom to be the fastest for me, though from everything I'm reading, speed and battery life differ a ****ton from user to user. Just my 2 cents. Hope you enjoy having the sexiest phone on the market!
Flash venom and never look back!
Full of tweaks and with speedy kernel it's perfect
Enjoy your phone and welcome to the one x+ forums

My One X+ actually has not heated up much after the official 4.2.2 update. Runs perfect, Sense 5 is so much better than 4
ROM
Using 4.4 ROM and dont have any gaming issues

Just got my ATT One X+ and I'm loving it. No lag so far. The only thing I find awkward is the lock button on top (I'm use to it being on the side). I love that I have lte on T-Mobile.
