Hi, can I use Cygwin to create a rom for galaxy ace?
I had tried that earlier... but didn't work... You can give it a try now... Ofcourse you can't rely totally on cygwin to create a fully working rom for you... You have to make modifications....
You can follow this tutorial.... It had worked for me with some modifications...

Why do you want to use cygwin?
If you want to build your own rom, follow flash's guide or someother....
Cygwin doesn't support the ace....

And yes you just need cwm on your phone.
Flash the zip through cwm and voila!
I have also worked on another mod along with akshay sharma :akshaygalaxystarmod"
