It is finally here! CM10 is now available for you to enjoy its awesomeness.
Before you scroll down, a few things you need to know: (disclaimer)
All of the ROMs in this thread come without warranty, or guarantee that it will work. You flash this to your own device at your own risk. We can provide support, but we are not responsible for anything such as the alarm app not waking you up, to total phone meltdown. Please understand this before you download anything from this thread. CM10 on the HTC Rezound is still in a "beta" stage. Do not expect any of these ROMs to be stable enough for a daily driver. If you have an important event I suggest flashing a more stable ROM to ensure your phone will work when you need it to. These ROMs are specific to XDA and their owners unless the owner chooses to share elsewhere. No one will use or share any of these authors' work without permission.

First, we need to thank chad0989 for all the hard work he has put into CM10 for us. He is the only reason we have it so stable and most features working. None of these ROMs would have been possible without him or the other countless people that helped make this what it is.
Please click HERE to donate to him, or you can also go The Chad Appreciation Thread to say thanks.
Buglist: (what doesn't work)
Bluetooth calling (bluetooth media works great)
No MHL support (not a part of CM10 so don't ask)
HD video in YouTube does not play, standard quality works fairly well.
You may see mention of a ROM with or without ION, and here is an explanation of what ION is: (thank you to shrike1978)
shrike1978 said:
ION is the new unified memory management architecture that Google is advancing. Prior to ION, every SoC manufacturer had their own way of doing memory management. Qualcomm's was pmem, Nvidia's was nvram, etc. It made it's debut as an option in ICS and is preferred in JB. Being unified also means that it is a good candidate for integration into the Linux kernel mainline, which would mean that Android would no longer require it's own separate branch of Linux.

Enough of that, here are my builds. These are straight "stock" meaning that they are built directly from chad0989's repository and have no modifications whatsoever. Chad'main JB repo is PMEM not ION, so my builds are PMEM.I will build and post an updated version anytime Chad pushes a change to his repo.
Latest build:
CyanogenMod 10 1/24/2013
Gapps:
gapps-10-11-2012
Instructions for S-Off:
Download latest build and gapps
Put both on either internal or external SD (I recommend external)
Reboot to recovery (use Amon Ra to guarantee a good flash)
Flash latest build and do not leave recovery
Flash Gapps
Reboot phone and wait for it to boot up.
Post a message here telling Chad how much you love him
Instructions for S-ON:
Download the latest build.
Download GAPPS.
Download this: PH98IMG-CM10-boot.zip , rename to PH98IMG.zip and place on the root of your external SD.
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe.
Flash the latest build but don't leave recovery.
Flash GAPPS.
Reboot to bootloader and install the PH98IMG (if you get a "parsing" error, extract the boot.img from the zip and flash with fastboot)
Reboot phone and wait for it to boot up.
Post a message here telling Chad how much you love him
Older builds:
CyanogenMod 10 1/14/2013
CyanogenMod 10 1/8/2013
CyanogenMod 10 12/5/2012
Heyis4Horses cm10 with Linaro v1.1
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER YOU MAY DO TO YOUR PHONE -Got it? good.
That being said this is my cm10 ROM built with linaro 12.10. It has Funky kernel brunched in. This does not include ION, which in my opinion is not ready. While this is my daily it may be too bugged out to be yours. This does include the nexus 4 boot animation. The X is slightly off center so if you'd prefer the cm10 boot animation it will be attached at the bottom of the post, just put it in system/media and delete the other bootanimation.zip.
BUGS
Video playback is choppy
Bluetooth calling
Generally the same bugs all cm10 ROMS contain
Includes
-Nova Launcher
-Cobalt Theme built in (but not default)
-Somewhat trimmed down apps but includes everything that's necessary.

DO NOT FLASH GAPPS
CM10.1
There is no guarantees on this as I havent got to test it yet. Freshly built with Shrikes Kernel and nova launcher. Enjoy.
Once more, do not flash GAPPS
I do recommend Amon ra for flashing. It is faster and has never given me any problems.

Here it is!
This ROM is CM10 built with the Linaro Toolchain, without ION (will update it to ION once the camera bugs are ironed out). Other than the addition of Linaro this ROM is pure, unmodified CM10.
Disclaimer time.
Flash at your own risk. No one (except you) is liable if anything bad happens to your device.
Keep in mind some things don't work (standard JB issues for us), such as:
-Hardware acceleration (graphical artifacts in streaming videos)
-Bluetooth calling
-MHL
-GPS wonkiness every now and then
-UI may be choppy at times, this is because this is the non ION version. I personally don't think it's that bad.
Flash like any other ROM. ***CREATE A BACKUP FIRST*** then factory reset/wipe dalvik/wipe system, install ROM, install GAPPS, reboot.
Well... I think I covered everything. (This is my first OP, so don't be too hard on me!) Enjoy!

Here is an old build, not ION, so please don't flash it unless you want a 50% of bricking.

Please note that I haven't tested this at all (away from home with DSL internet), so I don't even know if it will boot. Edit: other users have confirmed that it boots.
It shouldn't brick since I didn't change anything important from Chad's repos, but be aware that there is always the possibility of something going wrong. Edit: other users are fine so far, although still be careful and check MD5
I also attached the old pmem version if you want that.
DISCLAIMER:
Now BEFORE you go ahead and download this, please read and keep the following in mind:
1) Please do not redistribute this build publicly, as per Chad's wishes. If someone else would also like a build, please direct them to PM me or someone else with a build.
2) I, nor anyone else, is responsible for any possible damage that this ROM causes.
Although there haven't been any reports of any bricking, please be wary and install this with proper caution.
3) Keep in mind that this build is not fully functional and has numerous bugs that can impair daily usage.
For example:
-Camera is purple, no video, no front camera (ION version)
-Bluetooth
-MHL video output
-Hardware accelarated video playback has considerable artifacting (affects Youtube)
-GPS doesn't work consistently
-Possible random reboots
-Possible SystemUI crashing
-Abormal app behavior, ie. freezing, crashing, weirdness
If you need any functionality that is currently broken, you should not use this ROM.
4) Follow the typical ROM flashing procedure (nandroid backup, wipe before installing).
Now that you have read the above, you may proceed to the download.

Instructions
Make sure your Prime is unlocked and you have CWM installed (see this thread for help and a handy tool to do that)
Shut down the prime
Hold both the Power-button and the Volume-down button until the splash screen appears and some white text in the left top corner is visible
Release both buttons and press the Volume-up button
The device now boots into your CWM recovery
Make a backup of your current ROM
Inside CWM select "wipe data/factory reset" (optional but highly recommended)
Then flash the rom zip as usual
Downloads
Make sure you do a full wipe (aka "wipe data/factory reset" in CWM) before flashing this!!!
Please note that the ROM needs to settle down after the flash so give it at least 10 minutes after booting to reach the normal speed and smoothness!!!
Current & old versions

What I've been waiting for!
Oh man, I can't wait to get home and flash this. I'm ridiculously excited to get my flashing fix on the Asus now. Good job on getting this out there, I'll post again once I install and give my 2 cents.
Edit: Installed, restored all my apps. So far the tablet is running very smoothly. I didn't do any metrics before I installed, so I can't compare, but I'm happy so far. Can't wait to see what else is added to the ROM.
TYVM & I can't wait to try this out! ^ Darn you beat me to 1st
Plain awesome. Bootloader unlock, Recovery and the first custom ROM on one day!
Awesome work on getting a custom rom out on 'Unlock Day' can you confirm whether the 'sd card' aka. internal memory partition will get wiped when installing the rom via CWM or not please ?

I am a bit sad kernel flashing won't be as easy, so many features are a bit harder to get... But I'll try to get a kernel with working init.d tomorrow
And with init.d I can give you better performance too

Great work buddy on being the first official custom Rom out on Prime. Plus its on the same day unlock tool came. Can't wait to try out your ROMS down the road once I decide to Unlock. Ill make sure to send thanks your way once it resets. I ran out at the moment. Very anxious to see how you tackle the wifi and GPS issue like discussed before. I remember you told me about some method done to the Desire to extend wifi range or something.

Ah. another proof to show that Mytouch3Gslide has not dead yet. But I guess I need sometime to do the S-OFF stuff since my HBoot has been upgraded with the official Froyo :-(.
Update on ROM Status
This ROM just turned from a Beta into an Alpha. didn't realize there were that many issues lol
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP! FLASH AT OWN RISK!

hmm, i'm not sure what actually happens if i don't have S-Off, but the rom flashed for me even though i do not have S-Off. however, most of the keys on hard keyboard doesn't work, neither does the back key. that's about as far as i got before i had to revert to my backup because i need to use it as my alarm clock.

yeah, i guess S-Off isn't required for the Espresso... sorry guys, kinda copy and pasted from my other thread...
yeah, i have the same issues... remember, it's an alpha build.. more than half the things don't work right

honestly tho, i'd keep that on there because while i don't have S-Off, I have my bootloader unlocked and I can do some of the stuff S-Off'd Espresso can. hopefully this will get more feedback and we will see.
I thought this requires S-OFF, so I tried to unlock my hboot with HTC tool. Now Hboot shows LOCK OOW and I think I am stuck with the official Froyo. Any idea to get me out of this. Urgent!

FIRST OFF: THIS IS FOR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS. IF YOU TRY TO INSTALL THIS WITH A LOCKED BOOTLOADER, YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE.
What it is:
(From the Galaxy Nexus Android Development CNA Thread)
Codename Android is a fully open source rom that focuses on speed, usability, and getting every feature that we can get CRAMMED in there :_con: .
Our mission is to spread the Open Source Android love to as many people as possible, and get as many people involved as possible. Along with the rom there will be tutorials to get more people involved and learning how to build android step by step.

What it is not:
I do not claim any thing special about the code other than some simple changes to make it work on the R800x. Either FXP built it (if it's a port) or it's code from CNA/Koush/freexperia or anybody else who has contributed to the CM9/Android repos.
I have made a few changes to the CNA vendor tree to add in a the ability to build zeus, changes to device/semc/msm-7x30-common to allow the semc_ota_from_target_files to work, I changed the libs in (my own) vendor/semc/zeus to be R800x libs and I removed the storefront from the proprietary files list in device/semc/zeus
KeiranFTW's CM9 kernel is recommended, it's included in all the zip files (source)
Now, onto the good stuff.
What Works:
Data
Calls
Wifi
GPS
SMS
Accelerometer
MMS (thanks chrono!)
What Doesn't Work:
ALS (Disabled by Keiran in kernel)
Bluetooth Media Audio (Thanks chrono!)
Video Recording (Thanks Neoandgeo for pointing that one out)
Facebook account syncing (Thanks DoubleByte) -- Note facebook account syncing looks like it's a problem within 4.0.4 framework...
Looks like there's an issue with navigation buttons the the R800x, looking into it.
What Kernel to use:
Use DFK-CM9 kernel (it's included in each zip) so far that seems to have the best balance of battery life & speed.
Anything else that doesn't work, lemme know, I'll add it to the list.
Link to CM9/CNA Files
What's in it:
1) 05/06 "lite" build (what you'd get from building it from scratch)
2) 05/05 "Full" build (added in some necessary apps, like messanger, music from cm9, etc.)
MAKE SURE TO INSTALL OVER A CM9 BUILD, OR HARDWARE KEYS HAVE ISSUES (DO NOT WIPE DATA WHEN INSTALLING)
Steps to do a install:
1) Download & copy to sdcard
2) reboot recovery,
3) MAKE A NANDROID!
4) wipe dalvik/cache
5) install from sdcard.
Thanks to Ridder215215, a complete guide on how to install CM9 (just replace the link in line 2 with the link above)

Nope, I'm gonna make this side-by-side with CM9. (And i'm gonna get started on another one soon if cj360 doesn't beat me to it ) (In fact i'm making the latest CM9 now)
I am sure this has already been asked but am I to assume that as it is based off off CM9 that the touchpads will not work? The only thing holding me back from all the other CM based ROMs is that I heard that touchpads do not work as that is part of the Sony Ericcson framework... Anyway besides that... thank you for the ROM is looks great... also I recognize the wallpaper on the screenshot and I know its a music band but what is the name of the group?

Actually, this one isn't based off CM9. It's as AOSP as possible (no CM9 additions in it )
But yeah, touchpads are still iffy, and the band is Demon Hunter.
This is definitely going in my list of what to try once I can install custom kernels! This looks SO cool!
Pax, without you we r800xers would not have much.. thank you!!!
As always pax, well done sir.
Just to let those who are unaware know, in Advanced Testing in the Settings menu, Spare Parts settings force closes the Settings menu, as does Development settings.
Pax, you said, in your CM9 thread, that the T-Mobile Theme Chooser had been added to the source, right? Do you know if it's working properly, and do you plan on sticking it in CNA, or just in CM9?

Just CM9, it'd take a ton of changes to the framework to implement the theme engine into cna.

+1 regarding the bugs noted. Originally I thought it was because Spare Parts wasn't installed, but it still FCs after Spare Parts is installed.

Yeah, I don't know what the difference in sizes is all about. But .. according to Steve, the aokp ones I posted should be just fine - anything that was unique to the ones he was trying to post should already be fixed in the aokp link.

From my experience, what radio you use really depends on your area (but I could be wrong). I have more luck overall with EC09, but I bet you'd find examples of others saying EH03 works better for them.

I haven't flashed this, so take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt:
I tried Steve's last AOKP test build for a day, and had the random dpram / modem / reboot problem. So I went back to ICS. That, however, was the only problem I noticed.
... and the changelogs seem to be indicating that's fixed now. So ...
Just try it.

Everyone says you do, but I've never seen any better results in doing so. I usually Odin to Gingerbread stock, flash the CWM for cm7 (mtd roms), and then just flash the latest and greatest from there.

In my brief experience, the following apply:
1. don't flash it in twrp
2. the other devil CWM recovery might work
3. safest bet is to odin the old "CWM fixed for CM7" and use that
You don't have to odin all the way back to GB stock, though .. I found that just the old recovery is sufficient.

2. Download the latest SlimGapps 4.4.x or other 4.4 specific gapps
3. In recovery, full wipe, and manually format /system
4. Flash ROM and the gapps you want, reboot
Note 1: This rom comes with DPI set at 245. This will make the fonts/icons smaller than usual there are many ways to change this to the stock 320... Edit: The latest builds have a DPI adjuster in Settings/Interface/
Note 2: Superuser comes disabled by default! Please find the Dev Tools app in your app drawer, select Developer Options then look under "Debugging" for Root Access. select apps only or apps and ADB. (Btw ART is working great on this rom, if you would like to test it it is under Select runtime)
Note 3: Build's based off the new partition layout
YOU MUST FLASH AND RUN CAPTAINTHROWBACK'S SENSE 5 4.3 UPDATE ROM BEFORE FLASHING THIS
Or have used the RUU from HTC to upgrade to 4.13
REQUIREMENTS:
-HBOOT 2.10
-RECOVERY WITH NEW PARTITION LAYOUT
-FLASH AND BOOT INTO THE SENSE 5 4.3 ROM FIRST OR THIS WILL NOT WORK!
see Captain_Throwback's instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639180
Also once you do update everything you will need to do the HTC Unlock to be able to flash your recovery. Don't worry, you will still be S-Off, if you already were.
I have to say it again DO NOT FLASH THE BUILDS FOR THE NEW PARTITION LAYOUT UNLESS YOU HAVE PERFORMED THE UPGRADE TO THE LATEST SENSE 5 4.3 upgrade! You must actually flash the rom not just the recovery. You have been warned.
Changelogs can be found on the slimroms website
http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/news
Download Links: There are 2 versions of each build at the moment. I'm not sure how long I'll support the old Partition layout so it would be a good thing to upgrade to stay current. PLEASE pay attention to what you are downloading and Flashing.

And huge thanks to @Captain_Throwback and @xHausx for working on the parttion layout and @GoblinZ for helping me, help him.
There really is no reason to not update your Firmware, Hboot and recovery to have the new layout. It uses the storage the same way as newer devices and allows you to format your SD card to a different format if you desire.
Reminder: Any previous backups you have will not work on the new layout. But this is a great time to clean up your SD card and start fresh which will probably make things quicker in the long run.

Scott, my device isn't active anymore so I can't answer that.
My understanding though is that there may be a hang up on data when switching networks. Like 3g to LTE and vice versa. An airplane toggle resets it usually.
I also saw in a different thread that someone uses tasker to turn of mobile data when they arent using it. You could probably set it to turn data off for one minute every 20 minutes or so. You'd probably never notice it and wouldn't get stuck without a data connection.

I have noticed the connection dropout requiring a data or airplane toggle to restart. This first build was a vanilla unmodified SlimKat. Future builds will integrate fixes to these and other issues.

Great job on this build. I have been working on one myself, but I haven't actually gotten a successful build compiled. That aside, I haven't noticed any problems with this ROM at all. I haven't even noticed any data dropouts, although I'm not a heavy data user.
