First! What?! AOKP for the Note 2?! Gotta flash it!! Sbrissen mentioned he fixed the Bluetooth right after posting the latest build, this wouldn't happen to have that fix implemented yet, would it?

Unfortunately not. He hasnt pushed that fix to github yet.
EDIT: Hmm. Maybe he did actually. I see a few commits related to bluetooth. Try it.

Sure does...hell yeah! It breaks up a bit here and there, but not bad at all! The GPS took a while to lock on, but looks like I got a solid lock now, ready to navigate in Google maps. Excellent work! I always found AOKP to be my go-to AOSP ROM on other devices...might just have to keep the trend going!

Slightly confuse. BT had been pushed to git so does this contain it? It says alpha 2 but some one else was mentioning it was working.

Yes. Any non-Touchwiz will get rid of most of the s-pen functionality and basically turn it into a regular stylus.

The screen doesn't seem quite as bright at max, especially when you're outside. Would that be a build.prop modification or would it be the kernel?

***Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for anything that YOU install on your tablet or the problems caused by that flashing.
I decided to try to build AOKP build 31 with Onskreen Cornerstone baked in. This is the result of that first build and I thought some of you folks might like to play with it. I have NO PLANS to support this or to make it good enough to be a daily driver. I expect it to have bugs but I haven't played with it long enough to see what they all are. I have noticed that the lock screen seems to be a little off with cornerstone running. If I get bored (and maybe a lot of thanks! LOL) I may make another build and try to tweak it more, but I am not promising anything because I have another special project that I'd like to get going. I'm releasing this by request. Have fun!

I duplicated my AOKP folder for this before syncing to latest build, so it's based off of build 31. However, the Cornerstone code changes a lot of the framework and such.

Remove Trebuchet.apk from /system/app/ in the rom zip you guys downloaded and add the attached Launcher2.apk in.
Or if you have adb access do an adb remount and push it to /system/app
It "seems" to be more stable.

Reserved for common questions.
Be careful with this ROM, it will end your desire to constantly flash!
Q: Does this ROM have S-Note, S-Memo or any other S-Pen magical software!?
A: No, you need a stock based ROM for that. There are alternatives such as Papyrus.
Q: I'm getting a #7 error when trying to flash your ROM!?
A: Use TWRP or just update your CWM.
Q: Which Gapps should I use!?
A: Look in OP.
Q: What's different about this ROM!?
A: Look in OP.
Q: I'm having some crazy issues that no one else has!?
A: Guess what, you messed up. Use TWRP wipe system, and do a factory reset.
Then flash the ROM and Gapps listed in the OP and wipe cache/dalvik. Do not restore stuff with TB.
Q: How's the battery life in this ROM!?
A: Pretty damn good.
Q: Which kernel is the best!?
A: Try them both and figure it out yourself.
Q: Has the music bug been fixed!?
A: Everything works.
Q: I am not getting notification lights!?
A: In advance settings uncheck and check the box.
Q: Bluetooth!? Is it fixed yet!?
A: Yes, look at krarvind's thread
Q: John, will you be my daddy!?
A: No!
Q: Kang, kang, kang, kanger! You big kanger! Wait, what does it mean to kang!?
A: Ok well let's set the record straight on this one. Yes this ROM is a kang, but so is almost
every other ROM for the note. Kang means to take somebody else's work and put it to good
use. Credit is expected but occasionally not given. I for one always am the first to admit what I
am building is a kang. If the "dev" who built the ROM isn't the one who wrote the source then
he just made a kang build (for example, krarvind wrote the slim source, so his builds aren't kangs).
Q: How does this ROM feel? Any reviews? Is it really liquidy?

I think it has something to do with the build.prop. I could be wrong though. I'm sure it will get worked out soon.
As far as I know, build.prop is not used in CWM, so afaik it wouldn't affect the rom. Maybe the assets are wrong ? This results in an Error 7, as far as i Remember...

Would someone be able to join the freenode IRC chan in OP to test this next build for me? It should be done in about 25-30minutes. Just say "synergy" when you join to ping me and I'll respond.

anyone else having issues with gapps? they flash fine, but the market will not let me update or download anything. i have cleared cache and data for the playstore app, but its still a no go.

I know the fix for BT, and once I fix it will be uploaded as BR1 with configurable quick settings. Also will be building with faux123's non-OC kernel by default (no reason not to, and he's a great dev).
Edit: and THANK YOU to all testers. You have been a great community.

Thanks; I DID NOT MAKE THIS ROM! I simply compiled it and added cyanogenmod device trees/kernel to work on the Jewel. All thanks need to go to the developers at AOKP and the Cyanogenmod for their work.

Wow nice man I wouldn't mind if you take over Beanstalk for awhile. I've been lazy and busy for awhile and I think someone else should really take care of it. Only if you want to.

Updated source 1-26
I realized last night/this morning when I posted that build that the source was 3-4 days old. Feature wise there were a couple tweaks that were committed since then that i wanted you guys to have. I also added swagpapers and scar45s AOKP Web app. Otherwise this is stock AOKP from source. If you flashed the 1-23 build this update should be able to dirty flash just fine.

Let me know how it works out and if you want to take over building it again I have no problem stepping asside. Really all i did was patch things up so it would compile and work on the jewel.

I left a note in the OP about that. The AOKP team is still working on how to deal with devices that have the capacitive buttons like ours. Until then those options wont work.

I apologize greatly for that. Complete oversight on my part.
Wow, I never check this section of the forum. Thanks mass for building this, OP!!! AOKP was my favorite AOSP ROM. I'm giving this a go tomorrow. So stoked to see this. Thank you.
