Hi,
I want to unlock bootloader and now I want to know something about the installation of paranoidandroid.
How can I flash the boot.img? With sony flash tool? So i click on the flash, select fastboot mode and then on the right side Doomlords "select kernel to flash"?
So i flash the kernel boot.img, reboot my device to cwm recovery and do it like in the tutorial?
Thx in advance
Mihahn
Yup i did the same way..

Yes found out myself, thx! But I can't call with paranoid android. That's very bad!
When I select reboot in Recovery in ROM Manager, Titanium Backup or power manu (when testing Custom Roms) the phone don't go in recovery, just boot normally. I have Stock ICS .587 with Locked Bootloader.
I rooted my phone with Xperia.Root.rev4 but recovery didn't worked, tried installing recovery with SE_Tweak_Installer also don't work.
It's so annoying when I flash zip with ROM Manager and after turning off I need to keep pressing Vol Down to go in recovery to install zip (it's not automated)
try to install recovery via X-parts (search in playstore) it will work

I think you need to flash your stock kernel, with some custom rom with integrated CWM if X-Parts don't work.
you have to press VOL- when turning on phone, to get to recovery. did you ?

Of course you can. Its stock kernel.stock kernel has .ftf extension and can be flashed to locked/unlocked bootloader. custom kernel has .img extension which supports only unlocked bootloader.

I know that, but the this is that want to make it to not press anything, to magically enter in recovery. I installed GingerDX on my friend X8 and it's working without pressing anything, that why there is opinion to Reboot in Recovery. I can just reboot normaly and press a key to enter CWM
