XT910 to Verizon - Motorola Droid RAZR

I just purchased a 910 RAZR and didn't think to ask the model beforehand. It was being used on a Movil network and i want to use it on Verizon. What do i need to do to make it work with Verizon?

You can always trade it with my XT912. Otherwise it won't happen. XT910 is GSM only. You need a CDMA compatible device. PM me if you'd like to trade

Well at least this looks like a step in the right direction for unlocking the full potential of these devices. Maybe next they'll unlock the bootloaders...
If only.

Verizon Droid RAZR on gsm networks

Has anybody tried the official ics update on at&t or T-Mobile? I'm just wondering if it actually works or what. Thank you for any answers and for looking. And yes I know there is a thread saying you could force it to work.

RAZR Maxx Limited Edition

Just picked up a Limited Edition RAZR Maxx on Cragslist. I successfully activated it on my consumer account. Anyone think I should worry about them deactivating it?

Locked Bootloader?

How do I know if I have a locked bootloader?
I read in wikipedia that the international version has an unlocked bootloader, is this true?
Does that mean that if I bought my phone out of the us (Mexico) I have an unlocked bootloader?
Cheers
I'm pretty sure (not 100% though) that the only version with an unlocked bootloader is the Developer Version.

Yes, you said right.

Ok and how do you know if you have a devolpers device?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
You would know. It would have said on the box, and you would have had to buy it straight from Motorola for full retail price instead of through a retailer or phone store with a subsidized price.

Not sure what the id number in "developer" section of the settings menu means, but any device with ICS has that in the menu now, doesn't mean its a developer phone.

Root

No matter if I root on my Mac, or a PC, the root cannot find the device. I'm using a friend's Droid Razr when my Galaxy is getting repaired, but I need root for it to work on AT&T. Please help with a method. On PC I did install drivers.
So... has something changed I thought the RAZR, RAZR maxx, and droid 4 was unable to use us gsm?

Correct on Verizon ones, they are CDMA only. heard it both ways on the global razrs, but have never cared to look into it myself.
