FullScreen - TouchPad Themes and Apps

For full screen you should try full!screen by tsorn It's been working for me. I have been using the free version. The paid version you are supposed to be able to setup full screen for only the apps you want full screen when they are run.
I am running this on Jcsullins CM10 12/16.

Thanks! Works on oats cm10 light rom

Launcher app

Hey, I was wondering how do you add apps to the launcher at the bottom by the app drawer buttons the home screen? I took out messaging and internet by accident and now I don't know how to add it back, thanks

Just drop and drop when you are in home screen, so make sure the apps are on current home screen (I'm pretty sure I don't use TW launcher)

If you are still using the stock launcher, I would highly recommend to change it. You won't have to root just download it of the market. Best launcher for SIII is Nova. Try it, it will let you have 6 icons vertically on the screen and so much more.
Good luck

Best ROM?

I'm looking to switch from ICS-Crumble (it is AOKP based) I LOVE ROM Control. What ROM can offer similar customization? I want to use the Bluetooth patch, as well as working soft button backlights. (I have USA SGP 5.0) Should I use paranoid? What are its downsides? Opinionated replies are welcomed. Thank you.

I use paranoid..did not reset one single time..and its cool that you can combine phone or tablet us and change dpi for every single app and everything you see diferently with out even reseting...and there are themes and stuff rom is a winner in every way if you ask me..if only camera and hw working would be perfect.

+1 for the ParanoidAndroid... I came from CM9 (Jack's) which I had for a quite a long time... I tried a few other ICS roms but ended up back at CM9. But, once I loaded Parandroid, I was hooked... Very polished and quite stable. I am using Holo Launcher even though the stock launcher worked fine for me.
Good luck.
I am also using Paranoid. Very nice.

Must have App! Pie Control

hi all...
I have found a very good app that is helping me a lot using the phone with big screen. PIE CONTROL. You can have quick lateral acces bar to home button, back, drop down notifications, and wahtever you want. At the distance of your finger... not 5 inches away...
Very helpfull and free. Ideal for note2.
perhaps u can include play store link??
also u might wanna try this out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150 LMT launcher. pie style as well
You can try LMT Launcher too. It can be found within XDA.
Free.
And has more functions.

Hi devilcatz,
How does the LMT launcher work on the N7105?

Yep, you just need to have root.

Pie control seems more polished and responsive than LMT. I have been using LMT before PA pie appeared on my Galaxy Nexus.

I got the app too and I'm really happy with it, the back button is ok but the menu button is too far away on this phone. I have it set up just for home, back and menu.
I have just one problem, though: the home and task switcher buttons perform the action instantly, whereas the back and menu buttons have a ~1sec delay between the button press and the action. I haven't seen any complaints about this on the web, is it just me or do others have this problem as well?
Seems faster for me.
For, lmt seems to take less ram (10 vs 40 in pie control). That's just for me. It also allows me to open from the bottom of the screen. This option was not available for pie (at least for the version I used)

[App] OneQuick - Side Bar And Floating Window Quick Settings

Onexuan gives us this app for free. And for those of you who are looking for a customizable sidebar menu, this is premium quality. Tested on my 7" hd. Works great. Not sure if you need root or not. Also not sure how it will work with the stock rom.

Works nicely on my rooted stock rom KFTT. Also works on my Sony/GTV box (NSZ-GS7) - although it takes a little creative use of the touchpad, the app expecting a touchscreen.
will it work on the Amazon stock launcher or do i have to load a different launcher?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
BELASCO states above that it works fine on stock rom. Which launcher makes no difference as it works on top of the UI. I do believe you need root, but I'm not about to unroot to find out.

Yeah, what I said.

There is a much needed update available at 1MobileMarket.

Update has more options (including option to mute that annoying sound), as well as UI look options.

[Q] Multi windows not working

Running hyperdrive rom and my multi windows does not work. The screen divides but when I drag a app over it takes up the whole screen, and the bar that divides the screen stays there. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a minor glitch when in multi with the keyboard but haven't seen anything that
Could you take a screen shot (hold power button to bring up menu prob best way).
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
That is weird, does that happen in other apps besides YouTube?
It does it on every app.
