I have UK BTU 4.1.2 XXELL4 and UK Vodafone 4.1.2 XXELL5 roms. Can i extract the tar.md5 image and replace the cache.img and hidden.img from XXELL5 with the cache and hidden.img from XXELL4 to have a unbranded XXELL5? Is this enough for what i need?
Thanks

What's wrong with just using stock LL4?

Yep just flashed LL4 on 1 S3 to compare with my other S3 which is still on ICS. I'm very very happy with JB.
Thanks

[Q] How can I flash firmware on tab P7500 10.1 3G?

Today I have NSE 3.1 (Telia) firmware on my 10.1 Tab 3G. And I would like to have NEE product code instead on my tab with 3.2 firmware.
Can I download the NEE 3.2 firmware at sammobile.com and just flash the 1 file as PDA using Odin?

[Q] Re-Stock Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 [SOLVED]

Hello,
Got the flashguide from samfirmware.com for the GT-P7500.
It mentions PIT, PDA and CSC files and all I found from samfirmware.com was the file corresponding to my stock firmware:
P7500OXAKG7_P7500XXKG7_P7500XXKG7.zip which has inside a tar (P7500OXAKG7_P7500XXKG7_P7500XXKG7_HOME.tar) which has inside::
recovery.img
system.img
boot.img
bootloader.bin
cache.img
hidden.img
modem.bin
and I also got from samfirmware a PIT file:
P7500_P7510_android_fastboot_emmc_full_p4_16G_32G.pit
--
So, briefly, I hav the PIT, and a zip with a .tar file inside with a lot of image files.
Since flashguide mentions, PIT, PDA and CSC.. well, I just get the PIT part right but what about the rest?
Thanks

I answer myself and I leave it here in case anyone new is seeking the same answer.
You can follow the nice guide from overcome in here: http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=5
In there it specifies you use pit file I got and the .tar file in PDA button to reflash to stock the complete tablet with odin
It worked fine for me with no problems at all.
Cheers!

Samfirmware.com has the stock rom for you. Flash via odin and you will have stock rom and no root.

HELP!! How can I get my base firmware version

I'm a newbie here and if I've said something inappropriate, sry first
I've a GT-i9300 with CM10: "10-20120907-NIGHTLY-i9300"
How can I get my base fireware version or something?
The only information I have is that its baseband version is "I9300XXLE9", nothing else can I get from Settings - About Phone
Is its base firmware "XXALE9" i guess?
Failed to *#1234#, and something else like that, only *#06# worked but no help for me
Thx~!
So you want your original firmware so you can put your phone back to stock? Download from sammobile.com.

Jelly Bean is not officially out for S3. The official firmware by Samsung is still ICS 4.0.4. Search sammobile.com for ICS firmware of your region, wipe your phone and flash through ODIN.
I have a question - if I have a stock German Vodafone SGS3, can I flash the JB leaks? It says they're designed to be flashed over Stock XXBLG8. It's okay if I flash my german phone to a uk firmware?

Yes. Make sure your model number is I9300. Do a cwm backup so that you can revert back if you're not happy with it.
