Try rebooting the phone at first, if that did not help do a data factory reset. After that if not solved you might reflash a stock rom. Still no remedy, take it to the shop/repair center.

Am I missing something here? At what point did they even mention rooting the phone? And rooting is still the best way of disabling bandwidth hungry ads in apps.

Dude, use the search,...
Please do not start again such Thread like "How can I flash"
There are a lot of Tutorials. Just try the search.
And please pick a more appropriate title next time.

What type of flickering? This may sound stupid, but it is a legit question. Try making a photo of it.
If it is going downwards in bar-like formation, it's the display.
If it is blinking, it is Android, or a loose connection...
Guyz do anyone here knows the reason y my phone is always in 200mhz even when every is app closed
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
ofc we do
When every app i closed, and no crazy background services running, the SII "downclocks" itself to preserve battery juice.
Mostly in sleep state. So dont worry, when u run some apps, not to mention 3d game its gonna "turn on" and use all of your 1200mhz.
cheers
I think he think it must 0 mhz
He is asking why its still at 200mhz..
To OP if you want to shut down your processor to 0mhz then turn ur phone off...
That 200 mhz is used by your system to run
Solved
Peace
Hit Thanks & It will Disappear

It's because anything below 200 mhz will send the phone into the sleep of death, where it won't wake up.
I've downclocked my S2 many times and it's never happened.

You can use BetterBatteryStats form the play store to find out what keeps your phone awake.

You have got apps that are constantly using data, try to put most things on manual sync and go to accounts and sync in settings and turn it off for a start.
Get rid of any apps you very rarely use.

Don't know what you mean? If you are asking about how to post the BBS dump here then just connect your phone with your PC and download the file 'BetterBatteryStats-....txt" from the root of your phones internal memory and post it here.

I once downloaded I think it was an AOSP dialer for my 4.0.4 ICS ROM. I hate Samsungs' contacts especially when searching for one. I searched and searched and cant find it, its the same one as seen in Jelly Bean. Links please?
