Hi all,
I would have posted this in the development forum in the appropriate thread, but I'm prevented from doing so due to the forum rules.
Anyway, I recently flashed a CM 10.1 nightly (latest) on my Galaxy S2, and cannot find the, "Show widgets before unlock" toggle in the lockscreen/sercurity settings. I searched around and found out that there have been problems on CM 10 with it (I had flashed CM9 stable on there before and it was there and worked fine) so was it removed for CM 10.1? Or can I not just find it?
I'm also coming from the latest AOKP rom and couldn't find it there either.
Love this feature as I love the lockscreen widgets but feel insecure without a lock.
Thanks in advance.

It's probably not merged yet.
Or you could post it in the thread dedicated to what you're asking about. Which isn't in the development section. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796733

Ok, i know there is a thread about CM but i have a few questions that i have not seen answered yet.
1. Does CM come with the latest radio n'stuff for my SGSII or do i have to update them seperately
2. How big is the difference between the other roms & CyanogenMod
Cause i see so many ROMS that i dont see the trees in the forest anymore.... (this is a dutch saying, so translated it probably looks like rubbish).
Who can help, what are the advantages of Cyanogen over let's say DarkyRom(i am on now) or all those other roms (exynos / batista).

It's been answered before, don't be lazy, and you should put your question regarding CM in the CM thread.
1. no, it does not, flash whatever modem you like
2. CM is AOSP, others are samsung ROMs, that's the main difference. Try it for yourself and see, don't ask lame questions
I have had a look at the CM thread but it's a big mother.....
It is very hard to get information from a thread.
Your answer is very helpful to me. But you will probably know my next question...
Can you flash new radio whenever you like ? (or do you have to wait for CM to update android and then update )
You can flash whenever you like. If there's a newer modem, I usually flash a newer nightly, and then right after the modem, then reboot, and everything is fine and dandy.
Hi, I'm a noob so appologies if this has already been answered...
Q: Is AOKP not supports on a Galaxy S2? The official web site does not seem to support the device. Does this mean the the devs specifically mod the ROM to support AOKP?
Thanks in advance oh guru.

1. Questions typically should go in Q&A, not General...
2. I don't think you really understand what AOKP is.
3. There are a bunch of AOKP based ROMs in both the Android Development and Original Android Development sections.

1. Apologies, noob.
2. This may be the case but you certainly haven't answered my question.
I'll try again.
I have Resurrection ROM which is AOKP. On going to the AOKP site, the Galaxy S2 is not listed as a supported device. So, I'm asuming, because it's not listed, that it's not supported by the AOKP team. Install at your own risk??
Am I correct in saying that any issues that may arise are up to the ROM dev team to resolve and wont be looked at by the AOKP team.

"Install at your own risk" is pretty much true for any ROM.
Edit to add: sorry, I forgot to say: though I'm not on the AOKP team, so my answer isn't a definite one, but I'd imagine it would be up to the particular ROM dev, yes.
Hi,
For having tried many, AOKP works great on S2.
I've change for having stock FM radio working, but if you don't need that, there are great.
Enjoy
Instead of actually creating a new thread; does anyone know of a "stock" AOKP for the S2?
I want to try one that hasn't been tampered with.
Oh, the irony.
Hello everyone,
My device is a galaxy tab 7 plus and we currently have a fully functional CM9 build working perfectly. I've been following a few guides on how to port AOKP to this device and non of the guides worked. I also read that cm9 and AOKP are one of the same. So if u get one to work the other should just as easily. But it doesn't seem to be working. So I figured maybe porting won't work. Maybe I have to build it from ground up. So are there any tutorials on how to do so? Or is there a way I can bring the RomControl menu to the current cm9 build?
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.
Thread moved.
Could anyone provide me with a link to the latest CyanogenMod cm10 (stable or nightly) for the AT&T Galaxy S3?
I have spent all day trying to get DirectoryBind to play nice with the newest nightlies based on 4.2.1 with no success. I have posted a plea for help in response to another user experiencing similar DirectoryBind woes at this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262&page=126
However, until someone comes along with a solution for this issue, I want to get the latest version of cm10 based on 4.1.2 on my Galaxy S3 but can't find a link for it anywhere. CyanogenMod update on the phone only lists versions on cm-10.1, even with "All versions (incl. Nightlies)" selected.
I am currently running 10-20121127-NIGHTLY-d2att on my S3. While it is fairly stable, there are a few issues I was hoping would be ironed out before the team made the jump to 4.2.1, namely the fact that the home button won't wake the device a majority of the time.
If anyone could help me out, I would be immensely grateful!!!

Hey guys,
Just got given a Mega 6.3 and I actually quite like it! Very surprised to discover that there is NO CM for it.
I have read through the Silesh.Nair thread and have managed to download a few of the nightlies:-
"cm-11-20140721-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx.zip" & "cm-11-20140804-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx.zip"
but it seems there was a much later one:-
"cm-11-20141113-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx.zip"
Which I can't seem to find available anywhere (except on one japanese/chinese site which I have no clue to actually get at it)
I have flashed the stock 4.4.2 ROM and rooted and it's OK but it's not CM and I also want to mess with the DPI settings a bit which just cause loads of crashes in the stock ROM, hopefully CM would be better.
So, anyone know where I can get the last (most stable) unoffical CM nightly?
Cheers,
MM
OK, so managed to download the latest CM -- cm-11-20141113-UNOFFICIAL-meliusltexx.zip -- thanks to a chinese friend!
Don't suppose anyone here has any knowledge of what is likely to be broken in this? Or if it's all good?
Cheers, MM
Silesh Nair no longer posts on XDA. You can find him on german forum Android-Hilfe. There you are link to Mega thread on this forum:

But if you are still interested in CM11 there is link to another thread:
