Hi all, I think that none of you have ever had a problem like this.
Then I point out that fortunately this is not my phone but a friend ...
let's go S2 firmware 2.3.3 Tim
BASEBAND VER I9100XXKDJ
VER KERNEL-2.6.35.7-CL186662 dpi @ I9100AIKE1 ANDROIDBUILDERDELL # 2
NUM BUILD GINGERBREAD.AIKE1
In short, the problem is this impossible to do a factory reset, do not wipe data factory reset, can not change firmware via Odin I tried various versions of both Tim that no brand, nothing to do.
regarding the various attempts to make the root nothing to do does not see the sd card and then can not upload files to sd and perform root through recovery.
The strangest thing, and that if something in the internal memory gate manually after rebooting everything back then all this me angry.
I gave up so I hope your a real help ...
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me ..
Marcello
also
Meanwhile, many thanks to the one person who gave me help, but I must say that I could not solve my problem.
We try to do a bit of clarity on the issue, I have basically a Galaxy S2 in the hands of a friend, the problem is as absurd and that if I try in any way to format the internal memory, the one that you do not format usb to speak ....
Tried all the various methods found on the net that is factory wipe data then format memory by connecting PC, reset to factory settings, I even tried to install a rom updated Brand Tim is that no brand via odin, tried updating via Kyes ...
Nothing I even tried to delete pictures and various files installed one by one, each time you restart back to business as usual.
The thing that impresses me and that if I try to format the memory cell via the usb on the internal management of the settings from just after the formatting immediately returns to the space that was occupied before formatting ...
I do not know what to do, ask for a help from those who know best the language of Android, so you know if there is a possibility that you have created an auxiliary memory in the form of protection to prevent the loss of important data.
Of course, since fortunately the cell is not my friend but as I said before I riportaglielo at least in the same situation that it took, so I can operate, but with a certain amount of risk because the cell is no longer covered by warranty .
To aid you in advance thank you very much to all of you ...
add
Guys nothing to do, I can not in any way to fix this damn s2 I tried to install more rom via Odin I also tried installing pit csc pda. With. Flag of re-partition.
All times Odin has regularly completed all ok but when you restart the cell and as usual, the usual photo usual programs etc etc..
I think this is really a mystery, as if there is a program that can create an image file of the operating system and every time you start the restore.
I forgot one important thing if you go into recovery, I do not compare external memory or external storage true.
Especially because of this I can not do the fundamental root to try a cooked rom ...
I hope in a help of a wizard once and for all to solve this puzzle.
Thank you all.

Hi All,
Actually I am in deep trouble because of my Galaxy Note now days. It is having TW Launcher error. I am totally unable to use my phone. It keeps restarting itself after every 10 sec. Everybody is giving me advice to Hard Reset / Factory Reset to my device. But my Major problem is that I have some very very important (almost 900 pics) saved in its internal memory. These pics are very very important for me and I do not want to loose these pics at all.
I am unable to take backup because its does not recognised by my or any other Laptop due to it restarting issue. This is the reason why I am not giving my mobile to any technician because no one is giving me any guarantee about my data. It is more than two weeks now, but I am still hoping that someone can solve this problem for me. In this forum I found some knowledgeable people so I get some light that someone from this forum can help me to resolve this issue. So please help me in this substance.
Thanks!!
formatting a phone does not erase you internal memory. you will just lose all your applications if it is installed in phone, contacts ( suppose its backed up in google so you can restore it later ) , and messages ( can backup easily try searching in market for applications which can backup messages ) .. whats your status? Are you rooted? if yes then go to recovery and try fixing permissions from there it should be in Advenced tab in recovery. GOOD LUCK!
yap internal sd storage has to be ersaed seperatly
so just reflash the rom via recovery
if u are rooted u may try to exchange your tw launcher with another version via adb or something
I'm currently using sgs2 with stock gingerbread.
My problem is, my phone seems to be locked on a specific state dated march 3rd 2013.
whenever i format usb storage or reboot my phone, it always back the way it was
e.g. when i tried to un/install apps or deleting files (succesfully), and then i rebooted it, the apps or files are still there such way unharmed.
i remember its somewhat like deep frezee. but usually, something like this only works on settings right?
its really nonsense when i deleted 8 gigs of file then i do a format/reboot, the 8 gigs files came up again like nothing has happened.
Already tried factory reset and unchecked restore backup settings.
Never faced something like this before, help is much appreciated
Sound like a problem with the rom, best thing you can do is backup everything (data) and do a complete wipe through recovery and flash a clean rom again. Very strange but have never (in all my experiece of IT etc) come across stuck dates and data that wont dissapear.
Edit: maybe this is a damaged or corrupt filing system? Still, the fix for tha would to be a complete format.

before this, a had an issue with the sd card, it suddenly went corrupt and cant be read anywhere. maybe this is one of the factors too?
i do planned reflashing it with jelly bean, but i'm still curios what has caused this so i can prevent and understand the problem..
my phone cant make new memories as well, new files are nowhere to be found after reboot.
thanks for the reply jl10101
btw this reminds me of memento
Background
I undated to Jellybean last week. All was going well until last night. My phone just turned into a Soft brick.
It is now stuck on Samsung logo.
I am able to boot into recovery mode and also download mode.
I tried remote logging to the device using ADB but I could only see a place holder to the SDCARD and SDCARD1, I could not see any files in there, and I could not mount them either.
Question
Anyway my question is, is there anyway to access the internal memory so I can recover some pics and videos, before I do a factory reset which will wipe all data including the internal memory partition?
By the way, I tried wiping Cache partition, didn't fix the problem.
I don't want to do a factory reset as I have read it will also wipe internal memory partition.
I then tried using Odin to install the original Jellybean firmware from my network which I got from samung-updates. I thought that this might fix what ever issue was preventing the phone from booting up, and hoped it would keep the internal memory partition intact. This uploaded successfully to the phone in download mode, but the phone was still stuck in the Samsung Screen after reboot.
Please help!!!
Thanks,
Anthony.
Re: [Q] Soft Brick. Stuck on Samsung screen. How to access Internal Memory?
First of all, here's clear idea of everything:
1. Wiping data, factory reset or flashing via Odin will format ur internal memory (where ur apps, settings, contacts, call history, calendar, etc are stored).
2. Ur photos, videos and other user files are saved in internal USB storage, and hence will not be deleted.
So u can be sure ur precious files won't be lost.

Thanks Immortalneo. But I read that since the ICS update android stores and accesses the MC in a different way so I just wasn't sure about it. Also I read so many contradicting comments on various forms about this so didn't want to take the risk as I had just recently taken some photos and videos at my Dad's 80th Birthday that I didn't have time to back up, which I didn't want to take the risk and loose them.
Anyway I managed to get access to the Internal Memory before doing the Factory reset.
So for anyone else who stumbles across this thread and needs help this is what I did. I am not sure if everything I did was necessary but I will list everything I did so you can try some or all of it yourself.
Before I start I should mention that my phone was Stock, never been flashed. It was using the latest official Samsung phone network provider Jellybean update.
Using Odin I flashed with latest Jellybean original ROM for my country phone network from samsung-updates. You need to boot your phone into Download mode by holding Volume down, Menu, Power button. By the way Recovery mode is accessed by holding Volume Up, Menu, Power button.
You can probably use any custom rom but I specifically wanted to put on the same ROM to see if it might overwrite some broken files and fix the stuck boot loop issue. It didn't fix it, so maybe this step could be skipped in fact.
Next I decided to ROOT the phone as I read there were extra options in the Recovery boot screen. So again I used Odin to install SiyahKernel. This was the start of my eventual recovery. After I did this and booted up into Recovery mode I had some new options available, specifically lots of Memory card options. I mentioned in my OP that I could access the phone memory using ADB shell but I could not see anything in the SDCARD as it seemed like a link or placeholder. Anyway using Siyah's Kernel I now had an option to Mount the USB storage. As soon as I selected that option my Laptop popped up a message that a new device was connected and would I like to open the folder and view its files. ALLELUIA !!! I could now see the Internal Memory mapped as a drive and I could access all of my files and backup all of my precious videos and photos. However my phone would still not boot up! Arghhhhh
So now that I had my files backed up it was safe to do a Full Data Wipe and Factory Reset. I did that that, and during the process I got an error:
Code:
Wiping data
Wiping cache
[B]Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure![/B]
Skipping format
Format complete
Anyway I tried booting up and it was still stuck on the Samsung Screen. F&%K I thought.
I was almost beginning to loose hope. But then I decided to just manually format memory card first before doing the Factory Reset. So I booted back up into recovery mode and selected Format Memory. Then did a Factory Reset and rebooted. But it was stuck again on the Samsung screen so I just left it down on the desk and started looking again at the forums then I saw the screen change to updating or initializing applications in the corner of my eye. Holy Sh1tballs, its working! It did seem to be stuck on the Samsung screen for ages, but in reality it was probably less than 30 secs,
As soon as I set up my Google account all my apps and settings and contacts started to automatically download back onto the phone. The only thing I lost were my SMS messages, but no big deal there.
So there you have it. I am back up and running with stock Samsung Jellybean phone network version as before, but now with a rooted phone with all the extra delights that enables me to do
In case any of this does not work for you there is another option you could try. It could be your internal MC is actually corrupted. This post below relates to re-partitioning the MC so its not for the faint hearted but it may be worth a try if all else fails.

Great write up of the fix. Good job Hopefully someone else finds it useful at some point.
Thank God for this forum and thank God for my own post LOL
This same sh1t just happened to my wife's Galaxy S2 where it got stuck on the Samsung Logo. I couldn't remember how I fixed my phone but I remembered I posted a good write up of how I fixed the issue here, and here it is.
And now I have just successfully fixed my wife's following my own procendure :good: to me hehe

Hey,
I'm having the same issue and want to pull files before wiping but not clear on bit of your instructions - did you root before installing Siyah kernal?
When I googled instructions for installing the kernal it says it I'll need to be rooted and have clockworkmod installed as well: http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...s-root/518798-siyah-kernel-dummies-guide.html
Thanks

Hi everyone
I'm facing a very annoying problem. my Atrix show and explain the problem to me even though I telephonist is all programmatically, they said I need to format but I think I have hardware.
When I turn off my phone every December 6 turns. For example, when I delete one to two applications, photograph shoot, when I reboot the phone by the programs have come back, if my photography is gone, WhatsApp My speech is going back to December 6.Connect the phone to the PC in the same way music, rom, etc. when I threw the zip file .. usb disconnect the look of the phone seems to have deleted files, seems to throw more precisely, I cant go to the factory settings, I cant format sd card.Fastboot mode operations such as hard reset formats'm doing. When he opened successfully but says does not change anything from December 6 phone again Cwm in the mount process data, cache, system, Preinstall, gives an error when formatting. Original GB Stock ROM flashing with RSD, but the phone while flashing process is going repositionable 6 december. Most application itself off, the process terminates, etc.. In short, I can not do any operation with built-in storage, screwing with my head.
Restore backup operation did with cm7 but it did not work .. I'm going crazy I stayed at this rate
ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.0

Or one of them will make an application in android professional applications because newly started dating, they needed to find an application that partition control.

I have Samsung Note 9 Model N960F 500 GB Android 9 Dr Ketan Rom Version 15 PIE, everything was fine suddenly someone noticed my EDxposed was old and told me to update it because i can't create Snapchat account
then i downloaded the new apk version and flashed 2 files with Magisk one is Riru i guess i don't remember and the second one under Alpha menu contains YAfa something, and then i restarted the phone and it was stick on Samsung logo
like always if i have any issue i flash Dr ketan rom again over the old one and issues gone but this time No, I'm stick with Samsung logo
I tried to go back to Dr ketan rom PIE from version 15 to 13 and 11 and to Stock ROM android Oreo 7 and to Dr ketan android 10 ROM_Q02 but i face always one of these issues
1- stick on Samsung logo or 2- boot loop or 3- Message says "Verification Failed unable to restart your device. The integrity verification has failed, you need to reset your device to factory default settings, This will erase all your data. But i skipped this because i don't want to lose my data!
i tried to flash the stock rom with Ap file only then the phone starts as new but i didn't see my data and i saw the total storage of my phone is 32 GB and this is wrong. My total storage and my phone is 500 GB
From twrp i tried to open the internal storage and always it's empty now and before. it says 0 size even before this issue was 0 Size.
i tried from twrp to do wipe factory reset without internal storage but issue still the same.
i tried to wipe system, data, Cache, Davlik and also the same issue
i flashed some files also such as Magisk unistaller, ed exposed unistaller and magisk unimod but no luck
After each operation if i flash dr ketan rom now and finish i see in the twrp logs "Failed to mount Data"
Now if i flash Dr ketan roms it's boot loop or stick on Samsung logo
if i flash Stock rom Android pie with all 4 parts with HOME CSC i see my total phone storage 32GB and not 500GB and the phone starts but no data
I noticed before if i update my magisk from 17 for example to 19 or higher and it was not supported by Dr ketan Rom, the phone stick on Samsung logo and if i flash the same magisk again the phone starts OK without issue
I didn't use the CSC file till now to avoid deleting my data
i tried some android recovery software such as dr.fone and FonePaw for Android and FoneLab for Android but they all don't have Galaxy note 9, the maximum they have old versions Galaxy note 4 or Samsung s7 and also they require root to read the files if the phone is working, and i tried others but without luck!

While I do belive you that you have the described issues, please clean up the OP. It is really hard to follow your thoughts.
I see little hope for you to recovery the data using some kind of data recovery software, as your phone doesn't boot and you wiped it multiple times.
Due to that, you will most likely have to do what vishnu vijay said. If there is no data recovery shop near you, you will have to send it to one. Sadly, it won't be cheap and there is no guarantee they will be successful.
Remember, the more you alter your phone's memory, the lower the chance of recovering your data.
