Anyone who has already installed the new WP7.8 Build 8858 VDG, dows it support all nokia apps? like Nokia Drive, Counters etc. Any other problems?

I found this Rom to be fantastic. I had really bad battery life with the Dynamics rom (even after removing the clock app).
The rom works really well, I've actually mirrored my Lumia 900 7.8 setup and everything works that I have installed except Nokia Music (app installed and ran with an error saying it wasn't a Nokia phone). There's a few of the other Nokia programs I don't use, but just give it a go.
I'm currently waiting on a SIM adapter to try out the phone side, but at this point I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

In freshly installed Lumia uk firmware in Nokia music there was Mix Radio feature. And it dissapeared just after i loged in with nokia account (it is not registered in UK). Maybe someone knows hot to get back Mix Radio? Reinstalling or loging in with Nokia account that is from uk or changing locale to uk doesnt help. Any ideas?

Mine did, too, when I logged in with my old Nokia/OviSuite account. Later that day, it showed up again and now works fine.
It disappeared in my Lumia too after I perfomrd a hard reset.
Yep, same here, it disappeared after a hard reset.
The whole Nokia Music feature is missing for me. Is there any way to get it?

The older NOKIA mUSic version 1.6.0.0 had the radio feature inbuilt without location restrictions, but was withdrawn from later versions!

After the HD7 i finally switched to the more slick and beautifull nokia lumia 800.
Everything works fine (for a new phone) only something strange occurs with some of the Microsoft Apps.
For example "Level" is installed on the phone as [Lêvël xxx xx] and Shopping list also from MS is installed as [shõppiñg lìst xxx xx].
On my old HD7 it is installed fine. But somehow on the Lumia it gets distorted.
Is it a flaw on my nokia?

I'm using the Dutch version (7.10.8107.79).
As it seems, it's only happening with some of the Microsoft Apps.
Is it possible to change this in the application manifest or registry?

That is just because of the language and regional settings. I had the same issue with "My Account" app from my Service provider. The moment I corrected my settings, the name corrected itself.
as tittle says i can't download Bluetooth and ringtone maker from my Lumia 800 . I updated yesterday via zune from 7.5 to 7.8 . still it says i have to upgrade or region is not supported . please help me with this.

I have spoken with a Nokia Care rep about this and they said they've disabled the apps for further testing. I'm guessing more development and security on the lumias because those apps are also being cracked and installed on other windows phones.

Now I got a Lumia 710 for my daughter which works quite well so far.
I have installed Rataplan final. Thank you Rataplan for the good work.
But there are a two major things my daughter does not like about the phone.
The Tumblr app is not available for this phone. Is there any alternative for Tumblr or do you know a different way to install tumblr on a Lumia 710?
The Instagram app is not available for this phone. Is there any alternative for Instagram or do you know a different way to install Instagram on a Lumia 710?

Lumia 800 is a bit old and the latest os is wp 7.8, stop, you can't flash anything else AFAIK
