Dear Friends, please help i have rom installed x-mod 5 but the camera result is not so good as compare to ics stock rom, Please give me a guide that how can i improve the camera result and video recording result like ics hdr..... sorry for my bad english, please guide .......

As far as I know X-mod used stock camera & its a GB rom so u may feel some differences with ICS camera. I suggest u to use x mod R7 & see

hey, it's great you're trying X-MoD!
I'd suggest you try the latest version, R7!
Gingerbread has inferior cam quality then ICS.
X-MoD has a camera mod which enhances pic and vid quality, so it's better then stock sony cam quality.

There are no other cam mods for GB as far as I know.
You can also try LgCamera app. It has a lot of options to enhance quality of vid rec and pics

I am still using original stock rom in my x10 mini pro. I was thinking about upgrading to some custom rom, but i have read that there is problem with camera that doesn't shoot 5Mpx photos. That is the reason why I still have stock rom because I need 100% functional camera. I wonder if there is any custom rom with working camera?

Yes you were right that custom ROM was having problem with camara but now its fixed.
you can flash your with FROYOBREAD v023e (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1190037) its good with no camara bug.
I flash it yesterday only & camara is worth, If you still have problem you can report to developer they definelty come up with solutioon.
I would also like one with working and NON lagging autofocus in video.
Also the stock 2.1 camera looks way better than these new ones with the "huge" frame.

I am currently using Slimbean version 3.1 on Xperia U. It is a beautiful rom but does not allow me to mod Cybershot Camera Mod since it was built for ICS. Could somebody provide a replacement or Sony Stock Camera app or suggest a better default camera app.

Different sources, kernel, drivers, i dunno im not developer, thats how things are with cm on all devices. You could try "A Better Camera"
A general question about xperia M dual c2004, runing stock kernel 4.3 JB, custom rom nightly build CM11 dated 28.10.14.
I am mussing the stock camera and walkman apps mostly.as i noticed the camera apps from CM is not so much satisfactory against the stock sony camera.
Other functionality from CM awesome..
So i wish to have the stock camera ported in CM.is it possible ? Then pls help..

I have a custom rom Named Xperia UI, its jb 4.2.1 Looks more like stock rom
In this rom, I figured out that it showing my front camera as 8mp. Took and image and compared it with stock rom camera image. Its really bigger then the stock one. Bigger in MB and bigger in resolution. This custom rom dont have stock camera app. Its Lenovo Super Camera.
And also have a Stock rom jb 4.2.2
I want to Change the stock camera of this app which is showing the front camera as 3 mega pixel
Want to port the camera app from Xperia UI as it is giving 8 mp in front camera.
Both of the rom are flashable with cwm and works fine.
Can any one help me to ........
