Hey Guys,
im trying to exchange some files in /system/framework of a stock jellybean 4.2.1 rom that came with my nexus 10.
I have built a workin rom from AOSP sources and made little adjustments that are present in /system/framework/services.jar and services.odex
I have built full_manta-user (not -userdebug!) so that the rom gets odexed and matches my stock rom.
The problem is i get stuck in a boot loop when i use my services.odex file on my stock rom. Is there a way to make it work or debug it?
Pls someone help?

i deodexed files via kitchen edited some apps i add my native language i signed all apks added root premission and busybox via kitchen after all i build rom and signed
but when i make full wipe and flashing rom its freez on bootanimation and not booting someone can help me ?

Hi guys i've downloaded the latest P7500XWLA1 ROM as am making a custom firmware for my own use.
I do this with all my phones but for some reason am unable to deodex /app and /framework in this firmware.
If any developer is willing to help properly deoxed ALL /apps and /framework i would be glad to share my work.Its just a custom LA1 Rom rooted deodexed so you guys can experience the newer available firmwares as most firmwares for the TAB are old...

Okay so my issue is that I'm confused. I see when you port a rom that you copy the framework folder and the apps folder( contains the SystemUI). My question is that instead of porting a rom, can I just get the Framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk and add them to my CM7 rom. The 2 .apks that I want are also from a CM7 rom. The only thing is that I have a Samsung Galaxy Dart, the rom It is from is for the Samsung Galaxy Y.
hello everybody i just ported the PAC rom to my phone the problem is when i used the framework folder in the port rom (PAC) the rom bootlooped
an when i used the stock framework folder from my base (cm10.1) the rom booted the problem is when i try to use the hybrid properties its shows
paranoid properties has force closed and i can't use anything in rom control and the pac in black does not do any thing can anyone help me and tell me what i am doing wrong and what i can do to fix this ?
Hi I have an SGH-547c running stock tw rom. I want to modify the framework.odex and I am wondering if I deodex just the framework.odex file into a single framework.jar if the phone will still work or does the entire rom need to be deodexed?
If not, how do I tell the device that the rom is deodexed?
