[19.03.2013] N7100 HD Voice - AMR-WB - ENABLED - Galaxy Note II Themes and Apps

HD Voice - AMR-WB -
supports AMR-WB as a codec, but IF YOU can't find if it is activated by default
1. the CSC [folder ] - to root/system /
2. the CSC [files - customer.xml ] - to root/system /CSC/
Tested on :
Stock ROM / ◄● CAPONMOD for N2 ● 3.0 ●► Aroma ● OTA ● Kitchen ● AL92/
Omega v9.1 / PhoeniX Rom V2.1 up to V6 /★ monxDIFIED ★
and on ALL MODEMs
for me it worked
to check in Phone tap *#197328640# -> [8]WB-AMR status -
and to tell the diference http://www.dialogic.com/en/solutions/mobile-vas/hd-voice.aspx
the HD VOICE - is enabled only on 3G or higher network

Added a line: ro.ril.enable.amr.wideband=1
look for the wbamr on your device - in ROOTDATAMISCRADIO
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT - copy to your device
edited /system/csc/customer.xml - #2 method
Changed your CSC to Region

You can check to see if AMR-WB is enabled by dialling: *#197328640#
if you flash a modem after - your amr-wb will not work
P.S. - the network provider suport HD Voice

i am sorry but i moved to I9505
the easy way is
1. Dial *#0011#
2. Press Menu key,then Back
3. Press Menu again then Key input,Enter value 1,and wait for few seconds
4. Press Menu key,than Back
5. Press [7] DEBUG SCREEN
6. Press [7] WB-AMR SETTINGS
7. Press [1] WB-AMR ENABLE
8. Press Menu and then Back
And finaly 9. Press [6] WB-AMR Status, VIOLA, WB-AMR SETTINGS: ON and UMTS WB: ON
FOR YOU TO WORK YOU MUST FLASH AN OLD MODEM FROM DE 4.1.1 OR 4.1.2
IF NOT THE MENU DIAL WILL NOT POP UP​

what changes have you done on CSC? I have seen your thread in s3 and i found many users responded as not working...could you share the changes done in CSC as i dont want to use the romanian CSC

I think the operator also must support it. Not sure about Netcom, but Telenor will introduce it this year.

Thougt it would appear as "on" if it was installed right, independent from its available or not in the network.

if you are on another country / provider
1. flash a STOCK Rom - !!!! = for the region ( for me is Romania )
or extract the files from
2. get root / extract the CSC files [folder ] + csc file in root/system /CSCVersion.txt
3. put the CSC file to the ROM you whant to flash
4. flash the new ROM

I have uploaded folder HD CSC to the root/system/CSC and my network PLAY MOBILE (POLAND) supports HD Voice. Unfortunately, it still shows me 3 times OFF ...
What is wrong?

no HD Voice on GSM
only on 3G or high network

tried to steps provided by the op, but shows only blank screen on the service mode.
i am on hawkish dma7.
