[Q] How to unflash gapps?

How do I unflash gapps? Someone recommended I installed it so I did and now I have 2 of some apps and gmail force closes. Everything worked fine before I flashed it so now I'm wondering, how do I unflash it?
Remove the apk files of gapps from /system/app
I suggest clearing data of them before deleting apks.
Root uninstaller
Are you using the latest version (for 2.3.5/2.3.6/2.3.7) ?

I opened the gapps.rar and checked the apps in it then removed them one by one using root explorer. Had some problems after removing a few so I flashed them back and now everything works.

Bluesky.apk

Does anyone know where i can find the bluesky skin apk? I flashed ineffabilis, but can't download it from miktweaks. I tried the simple blue v1 theme, that kept bootlooping, so no luck there.

If you have an older version of the app, uninstall it and install it again.

That's not what I did,
Its a flashable zip to install the apk in the proper location with the proper permissions.
Renaming the apk to zip will allow you to extract the contents of the apk on the pc, but will not install it on the device
You need to have the proper binary and script within the zip to allow it to install to the device.
Just FYI

Use the zip from an already working rom and then make the changes in the updater-script..if you want i can send over my meta-inf folder

Yeah that would help. I've created my own update script but when I zip it all up how it should look compared to everyone else's rom it just fails when flashing saying bad.

Zoot1, Your META-INF consists of only the com folder.
Are the CERT.RSA, CERT.SF and MANIFEST.MF files neccesary?

Have you solved this issue?
Last time I had this same problem when flashing MIUI on Galaxy Note, it fried the motherboard and I just got it fixed.
All the best

You're welcome!!
did you get the apk to install? and if so can you please tell me how? I've tried multiple methods and they all failed. "application not installed" is the message i get.
well, yes it worked fine for me
i installed it using rootbrowser. That means you have to copy the apk file to the system/app folder of your phone uind then set the permissions to rw-r-r!
you have to have a rooted phone!
good luck
Don't you have to have the odex file as well in order for it to work? Unless you have a deodexed system.

[Q] Why unistalling system apps not working with cm11 on gs3 i9300?

Ok, updated my phone to the first nightly build on cm11, everything is working fine except for the fact that I cant modify system apps or files although im rooted.
Eg. I cant replace bootanimation.zip
Eg.2 I cant uninstall a system app
Is this a problem with the rom or what?!
Reminder: I AM ROOTED!!

What are you using to remove apps ???and how .
Are you just trying to remove the apk in a root explorer? If so does /system have the correct permissions?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
I tried to use the following apps from the play store:
1.Root app delete
2.Clean master
Both failed to work as root app delete says that I am not rooted, and clean master fails to uninstall a system app although I granted it root permission.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
And also I forgot to mention that root browser does not let me delete system apps despite the fact that I granted it root permission. I tried solving this issue by reinstalling busy box but that did not work either.
Sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong form, I'm new here
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Rom toolbox also fails to remove system apps - however simply deleting them with root explorer works fine (after which, I use SD maid to clear up any corpses).
